Meh, whats interesting about small nozzles? I think it is unacceptable to do special, expensive toolheads for things a simple nozzle-swap can do on other printers. Maybe you can show more about the changed mechanics in the next video, I'd be interested in how the belt-driven z-axis works over the old screw-version. Is there gearing involved, is there backlash, are there different artefacts when printing the same object on both 1 and 2?
@@RPMlegacy513 I had pretty constant problems with small objects. It could be I couldn't dial in the settings right, but we chose to hold off on doing a second video because of that. Haven't been able to go back and test since then because my production schedule's been booked with other projects. The one bummer with having so many projects is that if something doesn't work right in its available time window, it often can't get readdressed because other things come up.
I'm looking forward to seeing more mini2 videos. That printer is on top of my wish list right now.
As an owner of both the Mini 1 is a tank. 6 years old and keeps on printing. The mini 2 is junk. Bed leveling issues that will drive you insane.

Those are good questions. I'll ask the fine folks at LulzBot and see what they say.
I can't figure out how to update firmware on my mini
Have you reached out to LulzBot?
@@AdvancedGeekery yes, i received a very basic email and asked more questions, but go no response.
@@AdvancedGeekery i have the very original mini with no screen from 2015
Any update on the extruder?
Doing some testing still.
@@AdvancedGeekery - are you still planning to make the extruder video?
