- If you’re looking for a small diameter arrow, you might want to listen up. I’ve been working on this thing for months now and I have it dialed in. This thing hits em like a freight train. High grade materials, endless trial runs, and a little luck took this thing out of this world. I’ve been working on a lot of things, but this arrow right here is my pride and joy. What’re your thoughts?

I used to shoot Beeman Arrows back in the mid 80's with outserts and they would zip right through a deer..

It could be done, but Japanese hand massaged 100% wagyu beef would be cheaper by the pound compared to the meat you would get off the animal after buying a dozen of those things. 🤣

The only thing I have ever seen close to this, was a company was inserting a carbon tube inside the shaft, which attached to the insert. This intern, would accomplish something similar to what you have accomplished however, you Gotter did I appreciate it more than you know.

You don’t have to spend that much money on arrows to accurately and humanely kill animals
I do just fine with Walmart carbon arrows !
It’s about enjoying the sport , respecting the animals and shoot what you can afford
I'm still shooting some of my Gold Tip and Cabela's arrows from twenty years ago lol.
Sirius is American made. And i cant say i know a grown man shooting a 350 or 400 spine for hunting, those ate weak as hell

I agree but that will drive the cost up...But Titanium In & Out serts would be spectacular!!
Strong aluminum like what he is stating is used on military aircraft and commercial planes. MORE than strong enough to be put through an animal or in a shoulder.
I've never lost an animal due to an aluminum insert and I've shot quite a few through the shoulder! A billion critters were killed with aluminum inserts before anybody got the great idea to drive up the cost of building an arrow,by introducing titanium into the equation! You told us all we needed to know when you said you were lost!
Steel is better. Different loads and different stresses require different materials. Between the restriction of diameter, and the requirement of toughness, you'll get the best results with a good steel. Titanium is stronger for the same weight, but the same size it's still quite a bit weaker and isn't as easy to machine with good tolerances.
Geometry is as big of a factor in toughness as the material itself. The length of the outsert creates a lot of leverage that can bend the outsert at the junction with the shaft. A good steel is the best choice for this application.
@@YoureSoVane ...I agree completely...A good hardened tool steel like 4140/4143 steel is Perfect for that application as an insert/outsert...
