- In this video I provide my ownership comparison between my current 2023 Lexus LX 600 F Sport and previous 2023 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro. Both have their perks over one another, in this video I talk through my list of reasons why I think the Lexus LX600 F Sport is better than the Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro as well as my list of reasons I think the Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro is better than the Lexus LX600 F Sport. I wrap up with a list of reasons they’re on par with one another.
Let me know your thoughts, which one would you prefer and why? It’s a win win decision if you ask me.

Honestly...the 1st gen sequoia is the best. Best value. Good space, remove 3rd row, million mile motor, better build quality and just overall tank
Yes ^^ this, just update it (that last gen) a bit, a no- hybrid/battery twin turbo V6 like this LX600 if you must, and call it a day. To me, that non flat rear cargo / 3rd row / battery configuration a real deal killer on this one. That and the hard edged, mish-mash, plasticky-tacky interior not befitting 80k - or 60k for that matter. Must've gotten their interior designers from the school-for-the-blind, no offense (or maybe offense should be taken!).
Agreed, I own a 1st gen Sequoia and man that thing is a beast. Still going strong at 170k.

I also bought LX600 luxury in atomic silver, we should receive it by dec or january, v excited. We were thinking to get new 4runner also but decided for the lx. Congrats 👏 i m sure you're loving yours

I just put a deposit down for a 2024 LX atomic gray.I own a 2009 Gx 470 and saw no reason for the 2023 GX. I have been blessed to be able to buy a vehicle at this price range , I looked at range rover, Mercedes , and BMW the LX was the clear winner but so many different opinion in the comments it’s a little confusing . I would like to get the opinion of actual LX owners, why has Been your experiences ?specially yours. I am looking at the luxury with the black out package, how do you like the F?… thank you and can’t wait to hear your experiences. ( I can still switch to an F serie if it really makes a different

I know some wanted to compare, and the Sequioa is a great vehicle. Is the LX worth the additional money is subjective, but the LX is just from a build quality aspect, very hard to fault. I love mine, it is special, Japan at their best.
Funny how Toyota pretends that the iforce max is their flagship engine but when it comes to the vehicle that is supposed to last 300k they don’t use it. Either way it goes I can’t wait til you get rid of this and briefly own a raptor r. LOL

14 MPG 😳with highway!? Hard no.
My 2008 lx570 gets 17.5 fully loaded going 80-85. This should be similar or slightly better.
I believe 21 mpg for the highway.
The included tint looks perfect. Do you know the specs on the tint?

I’ve been on the fence about selling my 17 LC. It’s been sitting on my driveway for about 3 months because I didn’t want to put mileage on it. I just love looking at her on my driveway, knowing I have a LC, a car I’ve always dreamt about owning. Even my mechanic asked me to give him a eff you asking price lol
I’m an all motor kinda guy, dislike any forced induction, because of reliability issues, no turbos for me, I’ll make an exception for superchargers.
And the new LC… what a DISAPPOINTMENT! 4banger turbo???!!! C’mon Toyota!!!

Until Toyota can rectify that rear cargo / third row mess, LX (or last gen Sequoia) all the way. Also, if you don't really need the more spacious 3rd row, the LX "Landcruiser" a much tidier size.
The Toyota Land Cruiser we get in the US is more comparable to the Lexus GX than the LX, since it’s the Land Cruiser 250/Prado in other markets.

The new sequioa is total waste of money it’s made US , but this beast is made in japan and can never go wrong worth every penny .

I’m still mad at how big a junker the third gen sequoia and tundra are.
Very true. A friend of mine bought a 2022 tundra. The motor started knocking at 10,600 miles. Sure enough they had to replace the short block,”block,piston’s,cam”. I’ve never seen a Toyota motor go bad that fast. I bought my first Toyota in 1984. I’ve owned 11 Toyota trucks in the last 40 years. It saddens me to see the decisions Toyota has made in the last few years.
The sequoia at my local dealership is 99k...ahahha

I hope that 14MPG is just the break in period. Otherwise it made no sense to abandon the V8.
But the new v6 is more powerful. Though I think they should have left a V8 in one of trip.

You know which one to buy. I would of kept the sequoia and not buy a Cadillac. Big mistake! I would hate to see your car payments and insurance. Wonder how u people here can afford these vehicles.
