The fact that, instead of raising the award in the air, they pulled Damar into their arms to comfort him through his tears speaks volumes for the humans on that stage. ❤

The way they surrounded him and embraced him made me shed tears. The way they were comforting him and holding him up in that moment was very emotional and so moving. A very beautiful display of empathy and humanity.

I want to just flat out say that the training staff did not just “do their job” the day Damar Hamlin passed- they saved the life of a man in front of over 60,000 people in Cincinnati and over 3,000,000 watching on television. They had to work under all that pressure and still saved Damar’s life- it has been so beautiful seeing Damar begin to become so outright thankful for everything, and he can play 1 game next year and he’ll still win Comeback Player of the Year, because no matter how bad you were previously, overcoming death is the greatest achievement

The Bills medical staff must've felt more anxiety than all of us, as they knew it was their responsibility from then on to save Damar's life in front of millions of people watching. They knew how to act, they put their training to the test, and proved how skilled they are and that their job matters a lot.

Just an amazing story! Almost unbelievable if I didn’t witness it myself. This man coded twice and 7 months later not only is he alive, but he’s participating in OTAs and Mini Camp heading into Training Camp. A true modern day miracle, thanks to everyone involved in helping this young man to continue living his best life.

I love Pat Tillman and what he gave up to serve. I am a Marine Corps combat veteran 02-09. Pat inspired many of us. These folks are deserving of this award carrying Pat’s legacy. These service oriented people make me proud of our Country and the individuals that make it. In a time where our Country and world are struggling, Demar and the team of medical personal gave us all a moment to come together and pray together as one Nation under God. Watching Demar on stage with all of them putting a hand on him is an inspiring image for humanity. If we all worked to serve each other as they do everyday, our Country will be stronger, better, with a brighter future. Congratulations and thank you for serving humanity and equally thank you for all first responders and healthcare professional who work around the clock. This group represented an entire cohort of service minded people on national t.v. And is what is even more amazing is that there are millions just like them, doing similar life saving actions daily and go home with little recognition.

Say what you want about Trav as a player but the more I’ve watched him open up about who he is & his character, via the podcast with his bro & other interviews such as Club Shay Shay, he really does come across as a genuine individual with a good heart man.
