I prayed so much during this... I've never quite felt like that before this.... i felt scared for this young man. All of his team was crying. I wanted to be there just to pray with them. Then once they finally got him stable enough to get in the ambulance, the Bills prayed together. Damar did bring this country together. Damar is such a special young man to me. God bless everyone working on him here. These people are true heroes.

Wow, those people never imagined that they would be giving life saving treatment. They always dealt with injuries to legs and knees and a concussion from time to time. Good for them being able to take care of him.

I remember when this happened. It was so heartbreaking and I knew that something was seriously wrong when I saw him fall down like that on the tv. Working in the medical field I knew something was off about the fall he had. Bless the healthcare workers who saved him. But I’m definitely mad at the guy recording when he said “do I get my money back?”. Like who are you dude??? Someone literally died on the field and all you care about is your money?

Damn, that was a close one.. not many heart attacks victims survive. Given CPR 3-4 times and saved one of them. I think the odds are below 10%

As a retired EMT I am saying that there was way WAY too many people around the patient, to include the players!!
Stay out of the way to give EMS workers room!!

I completely disagree. There was plenty of room for the team that was performing ACLS. If you are retired, you would know how packed the trauma rooms in an ED become during a cardiac arrest. Multiple physicians, nurses, techs, respiratory, radiology, lab. It’s packed.

@@tommloye4626 I think they also purposefully had them gather around to shield people from seeing it. To give privacy but also knowing some people might be triggered due to seeing CPR before. CPR is way more rough then what tv or movies show. It's not just pushing on the chest, but doing so quite violently and long.

Sometimes football players take a knee...
For the right reason this football player suffered ventricular fibrillation because of r-on-t if you're struck in the chest right while the cells are repolarizing this can happen the medical staff saved his life
