Seeing Norris really wringing the neck of the car was a pleasure to watch. He was really giving it his all! McLaren is really on the right track with their car at the moment.
This was epic! When Verstappen said over the radio: my tyres are gone/no grip, and Lando started speeding up I realised here's something coming! I was on the edge of my seat since then in excitement! They should have put the bit where Verstappen asked why his battery is depleted? And the graph they showed of Verstappen's battery compared to Norris's, that just pushed my excitement into another level!!! Was so much fun! Lance doing close to 40 laps on medium tires honestly was pretty impressive.
Gave himself a huge tire advantage that he used to, (in a weird twist) bring home Aston’s only points.
What's even more impressive is that during that stint he didn't lose any significant pace compared to those who he was fighting. He came out just ahead of Ocon, and close behind Ricciardo (Bottas was between them), and in the end pulled over 22s gap to Tsunoda.
Well he's the most talented driver after all.
He also picked his battles wisely. Didn’t waste time / tyres against Hamilton but overtook those he needed to.

Lance Stroll had an amazing race
P13 to P9 in that horrible Aston all whilst Alonso had a nightmare of a weekend
Mega stint at the beginning on mediums. Same number of laps as Perez who was on the hards!!
Wouldn’t necessarily say the Aston has been horrible. Lance was in control the whole time, picked his battles wisely - didn’t waste time battling Hamilton but made overtakes when needed.
Alonso seems to of just had a couple of off weekends, but he’ll bounce back.
I think Alonso probably wrecked his car beyond repair and used the rest of the weekend for testing. Lance having a better result showed the upgrades gave some improvement.
