lol the fact that he looks like all of them lol
low keyyyy lol like one big mixture of fineness
he does look like them all and it's cute lol
Lol I was looking at the pictures like “yeah, I can see that”, “I can see that one too” lol
I agree!!
I don't see it at all😅
I have to say this… I absolutely love the decision you have made to start a Podcast with your husband. The conversations are relatable and as a woman who grew up in church it’s so refreshing to hear the real versus the sugar coated. For the both of you to be honest about your past lives and the struggles you still experience is what needs to be heard. I subscribed to you because you’re not afraid to say you love God and I’m sticking around for the realness.
Thank you so much! There really is freedom in transparency and this podcast is helping us as well! Thank you for watching ❤️
@OnlyOneJess but let's be honest... I was raised pentecostal I mean back in the day, old time pentecostal. So yes wr sat people down who sin. The simply told us don't havr sex....but we had far less sexual offenses back then, than we do now. I literally had a 12yr old with chlamydia. Gonorrhea, and herpes in my ER last night 😩 this baby is 12 and she said she don't even know who gave her what. So I'd much rather have it the way it was when we came up than these kids today. I'm very cautious about my 3 and 1yr old
This is such an amazing conversation and so important
Jess, the way Jonathan openly encourages you to speak and live in your truth, without shame or judgment… I can only imagine his covering behind closed doors. 🙏🏽
I’m not sure if it’s part of the “black/caribbean church culture” but I’m sure many of us share the same stories. The common denominator is often the hyper focus on shaming/denouncing someone who has sinned. I know it’s pushed a lot of people away from the physical building of church (I’m sure it also happens in other cultures as well). I think one of the most important things we can learn, practice and share is the importance of cultivating a personal relationship with God. When all else is stripped away, God is still in the midst.
Jonathan is the 5”2 version of Michael B Jordan…and he should take it as a compliment because that guy looks good!
he does take it as a compliment he just doesnt want people to think that he's walking around calling himself michael b jordan lol
Hey I’m full black and nope not an island thing we couldn’t do Harry Potter , Pokémon , Yu-Gi-oh etc lol but when you look into the spiritual behind it you understand
Thank y’all for sharing, these conversations are so necessary 🩵
getting real vulnerable each week! glad they are helpful and not just a bunch of talking
I am a 44 year old woman who grew up with old school belizean parents. They never spoke about sex. I am the youngest of 7. They let my siblings "educate " me on sex. I had to figure it out on my own basically because they didn't know much either. I changed the narrative with my children by having open conversations with my them. Thanks Jess and Jonathan for this podcasts and creating this safe space for us❤
When you said cursing doesn’t take away your salvation and Jonathon said “nothing does” 🙌🏾🙌🏾💯💯
Yall playing.. Jess.. is that you. 🔍. Because the consistency is wooow 😂❤
LOLL im tryna tell yalllll
I just turned 49 yrs old this month and the message of forgiveness is so necessary and I receive that message and I thank God for using you as a vessel for me to hear and receive this message. I've heard it before but I truly get it today so thank you so much. I love this podcast and beautiful couple. God's continual blessings over your lives. Thank you so much. Much love ❤
PK's have it hard love y'all!!
we made it out alive lol love you!
so glad i got to this video early. i’m a pk too and the sweltering shame that’s built into caribbean based christian churches is very detrimental to young minds that are bound to explore. i’m a young adult now and i live my life without shame, and i am less connected to my father’s church and more connected to God for myself. once i went away to college i literally felt God keeping me. seeing how other kids lose all their discipline when they’re free was scary. finding God for myself was the self awakening i needed to realize some of the hypocrisy i’ve faced within church growing up. my parents weren’t as strict as the people in his congregation tried to be, but once your pastor’s kid everyone thinks you’re their kid too because of that spotlight. so glad i could relate my experiences to you guys tho, keep the podcasts coming ❤
I love these podcasts so much! I appreciate the transparency, testimonies, humor, and words of wisdom. Please keep the "podcasts" coming! 🙏🏽
Thank you so much!! ❤️
I'm not a PK but as someone who got baptized at a young age ... when I really think about it shame is the main reason I fell off my walk... I felt so dirty and broken to the point where I believed God could never love someone like me ... because of an experience like that I think if the churches have a safe space for young people there's so much we don't have go through or experience just to understand the why.
It is a commandant and sex outside of marriage is adultery. All of these topics are great that you guys are doing! Honestly when people see young adults living for God it inspires the youth and older adults to do the same😊
I just love y’all. Keep it going. So relatable and real. 💕💕💕
I absolutely love these "podcasts"/ "vlogs"!!!!
Love the honesty.
The honesty is refreshing ❤
❤❤ luv these talks on the couch
Y'all better PREACH! This hit different, especially when I am almost twice your age and I got this message sent to me FROM GOD through you both. God Bless your union and keep sharing. Y'all are definitely making a positive difference. Yall are so adorable and fun to watch as well on "Your Podcast," even with serious topics. I love it!!!
🥹 thank you so much!! 🤍🤍
It's the back to back videos for me!! Yessss...podcast
Generational legacies and generational curses are synonymous. The pressure of living up to adult standards as a kid can cripple you (legacy). The pressure to do better when you don't see better cripple you (gen curses).
Both are Anxiety Triggers.
Beautiful way of ending. Message/advice well recieved
This was such a beautiful conversation❤️❤️
These podcasts are really good..
Im also loving how constant they are ❤
Thank you so much for sharing and continuing with the podcast really appreciate you and loving the constant content 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🥰🥰🥰
Thank you. I really needed to hear this. I am working on forgiving myself.

I feel so much closer to you guys! Lol Jess was throwing handssss ✋🏾 😂 love you guys!!!!
Thank you guys for sharing. I love hearing your thoughts and experiences. It helps others!
These unfiltered conversations boy I tell you they have me blushing out of embarassment for you, but they're so needed...
This is so good!!! Hesitated to suggest this to a Sista' friend but I've gotta do it. I think it will be helpful for something she's dealing with. I'm sure you both are setting many folks free💜👏🏿✨
I love that you both decided to do a podcast ! I enjoyed both episodes so far, you both are full of wisdom and yet also remain to be relatable. Keep it going ! 🎉
I feel like at this point yall should just own it and call it. The "Podcast" 😂❤ I love it!
First of all, I LOVE you two doing this together it is so refreshing and relatable. I feel like this is going to be something so big. You both are very insightful and honest & so many people (young and older) will be enlightened in many different ways. Go Jess, great move!
I agree with Jonathan...you can be open, but not accepting of everything. Thats the difference between a friend and a parent...a parent will let you in on information based on age/time of course, but will also let you know what they expect of you. Boundaries still have to be set even when being open. You also have to remember not to be overly open anout everything.
Love this podcast
Beautiful couple❤
This was soooo good!! Great conversation! And much needed advice for children! Come on Youth Pastor!! 🙌🏽🙏🏽👏🏽
Excellent podcast. ❤ Keep them coming.
FAVE "podcast"❤
This was an awesome conversation.
Pleaseeeee make it a podcast that's available on actual sites so I can listen to these in the carrrrrr
:(
Oh my goodness, this was a wonderful, serious and needed to be heard vlog. You two made it enjoyable I laughed so much, my husband came into the room and asked what was so funny? He only knows you by me saying, I'm watching Jess the lady that does the Factor adds 😂. Please keep them coming . I really get excited when I get a notification that you are on🙏❤️
😂 demon thing, cause I don't let my children watch those things either. But for real, especially these new age things, some crazy lessons being taught in these shows. Have to be careful
I had this dilemma but not from being a pastor kid but from having strict helicopter parents they wanted and expected perfection so I had a complete double life that led me to making a lot of mistakes in the dark because I couldn’t go to anyone for advice or real conversations so I just tried to hide and figure everything out on my own. Ex hygiene, sex, etc
I really enjoy listening to you two! Y’all are my best friends in my head 😂. But honestly it’s so refreshing how real y’all keep it
I am enjoying your podcast. And love that your doing it together with Jonathan ❤. Also love your transparency. Keep up the good work!!
Jess girl you might be on to something with the podcast. I mean I started watching this morning and came right back to it on my lunch. I love the topic, really enjoy the energy and how y’all feed off each other. Please keep this up!!!
Great conversation! When we started school, every year at the beginning of school from K-College, my mom sat us down and talked to us. She would say, never let anyone touch you (she would point in the area), never take medicine from people! Things like that, then as we got older the talks got more deep! Cause here’s the thing, if not parents, then who? 🖤🖤🖤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hello guys, I just love the podcast conversations, you two look great together and may God bless you both always🙏🏾😊
Jess .. you got a good man
... I see this podcast..yes girl ..I am calling it.. this podcast with both of you is the start of an amazing journey...
Jonathan is a wise young man!! This podcast was good y'all ❤
Its so ...whats the word, refreshing. Love the podcast because it's very genuine what you guys are trying to do. I grew up with Caribbean parents and churchy, i wish i had a podcast like this when i was younger. 😊 great job Jess. Good pivot with where to go next with your platform
Whew!!! That was some GREAT unpacking!!! It does help me in the path of raising my child. Beautiful open conversation and YES WE ALL SEE THE CALLING FOR JOHNATHAN 😂😂 He gives chills sometimes, come on thru Pastor! ❤❤
❤❤❤ this was AMAZING
❤❤❤❤❤I just LOVE THIS!!!!
Before the “podcast” I NEVER knew you were Caribbean. Makes me so happy feels like I can relate to you even more Christian, Caribbean and an influencer LOVE IT
Jonathan that message was for me I think almost the last seven minutes. Thank you. You said God unconditional forgiveness. A tear fell and I knew it was for me. Thank you so much.
Y’all are hilarious together 😂 And You two do have a Podcast. A Good One…Luv the transparency 💜
This was a great conversation. I am glad you guys shared your experiences. Many of us have the same experiences. Thanks for sharing. Keep up with the podcast
Really enjoyed it ❤
I never comment but this is sooo good! Love the podcast!
Thank you so much! ❤️
I use instagram and facebook through a browser, so I understand. 😅😂 Love the “podcast” and keep them coming! 💕
I grew up in church as well I can very much relate!! I still ended doinv the opposite but I learned and still learning from my past mistakes.
This is such a good conversation. I grew up in the Christian church and the topic of sex was never really talked about much. Thankfully my mother did a good job at being attentive and not holding back. I have definitely vowed to be open and honest with my son and any other kids I may have.
Thank you both for being open about this for the younger community.
Yall betta preach 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Y’all are ministering to so many, I’m loving watching these “podcasts” lol
Speaking so many truths that people have went through and felt stuck with no outlet, someone got free from watching this. God bless you both, keep it going!!!!
Thank you so much!
It is such a blessing finding your channel. I honestly feel like God this is when I needed it the most. May God keep your marriage strong and strive! Love your channel ❤❤❤ #new subscriber!!!

Jess you are so blessed to have a man who can join you in your career and with so much charisma. I love it and love y’all ❤ I’m loving the podcast. Just doing my nails and hair listening to y’all 😂
Loll thank you!! 🤍🤍
I just love this! Thank you!! It be like that! We don't start nothin but with smoke 💨 lol
Jonathan. That somebody was me. Thanks for that.
You hear it all the time but how you said it, and the song that was referenced, it connected. God bless you guys.
I really enjoy this video.
Jess I love you and Jonathan so much good conversation I enjoyed very much❤❤❤❤❤
Really enjoyed this one
This was very good, praise God!
This was a great conversation. I enjoyed this podcast too. I agree with y'all and that's also how I see things. We need to be realistic in church. Being strict don't guarantee holiness. I was curious too as a teen. And don't school the girls only, school the boys too! Keep the podcasts coming❤
That is the holy sprite that is leading you to talks about this topic.God bless.
Hey Jess!!!! YOU SOUND LIKE ME!!!! Lol. My dad is a Pastor as well and you know what I have learned since I've gotten older? When the enemy can't can't get to the parents, they come after the children. So, it wasn't just you. It was an attack of the enemy on your parents. When you r parents raise you to know the Word and the give you to God, they know you'll find your way back! I have the same testimony! My sister and I tell my dad some of the stuff we were doing (we're 36 and 37 now) and he just be looking at us crazy! When he preaches, we always end up in his messages. He told God that he would serve him, he just wanted God to take care of us (me and my sister). That's it!!! Love you guys talks! Much love and blessings to you guys!
i be in my dads messages too! lol our parents did the best they could with what they had and im forever grateful for the tools they gave me. shout out to us pastors kids! lol
In the words of my grandmother- it’s not cursing unless you put God in front of it. You can da-n all you want, but when you say God da-n now your cursing!! - oh how I miss that woman! ❤
This was so relatable it’s funny I was a preacher kid too and have some of the same experiences including getting baptized at 8/9. I did it all in the church and the pressure was real!!!!
Great Vlogcast!
I'm a preacher's kid and I appreciate that there was no pressure felt for me to be anyone other than who I am. I definitely have a great balance between being a PK and all social things. I'm in my late 30s. My brother is similar to me and my sister...well she was on rebel time LOL. But most folks grow out of it.
I enjoyed this "podcast"😅 because I can identify with everything you guys were saying😅 Thank you for making my day.
Preach, Jonathan!
Thank you for this. I can so relate and sadly never stepped back into a church again after I left religion at age 26. The pressure is real. This was a great segment. Thank you both.❤
So sorry that you didn’t get the proper experience in the Lord’s House. Not ALL churches are this way, I pray that the Lord guides you to one that is tailored just for you
@@sondraphillips6316Amen, your words are so soothing to her.
I actually like the air quotes when you say podcast. It is something that will make your logo for whatever name you select unique. I teach marketing and design.
Oooo.. I like the way you thinking right now! Thank you lol
It’s his smile 😊
☺️🤎🙏🏾 Great podcast topic !
