At almost 6 years married, my husband and I don't have any dedicated joint bank accounts. We are aware of what each other makes and saves and have access to each other's account (minus my vex money). We each are responsible for certain bills and we save separately. I am frugal fran and like to spend time at home, do cheap activities and stash the coins. Then, I splurge on a handful of things for US per year. My hubs like to socialize or be outdoors and when he is in the moment it's, "babe, let's do this or that. It only cost $50, $100..." As you know, this can add up. If we had joint savings, he would feel too comfortable about us having a decent cushion!! And if he was like me, we would never do much because all I would do is work, save, invest save save.This has worked out for us. I remember one time he was quaking because his entertainment savings was low and he wanted to do a trip!! And frugal fran was able to come through for her man!!! Similarly, I really wanted a particular bag and could not bring myself to buy it. That bag showed up and I use it every day!!! I love that you guys find what works for you!! That is what we learnt and what we do. We take advice but ultimately do what works for us. Congratulations on your first year of marriage!!
This was a lot of fun to watch. As a married woman of 21 years I have to say that Sex gets better with time. As you grow together your intimacy grows and pleasing each other comes naturally and easy. Instead tell him what you would’ve liked instead. Ex: “Babe, I was really looking forward to seeing you and us both being excited to see each other and my hair, I was disappointed that didn’t happen.” We also believe it’s good to balance maintaining each others individuality and time together. I really like how Jonathan added on to submitting to each other because you’re a unit. Yes it says submit to your husband but we can’t all hyper focus on one verse we have to look at all the verses and how they come together as a whole for the bigger picture

I kept getting stuck on being tiny as I was all through my early 20s. I finally lost about 23 pounds, got 7 more to go. I learned, if YOU dont like it, you have to start working on it now. Dont wait until youre extremely uncomfortable with it then get sad or depressed. Youre beautiful regardless of the weight gain, it actually looks nice on you sis but if you dont like it just actively work to change it. Jonathan is very level headed to be his age. Im so happy for you both.

@@OnlyOneJess Darn it 😂 well either way it goes, it explains why I've enjoyed your channel for so long lol As far as the weight loss- work out 3-4 days per week. Hour jog/walk, stomach exercises, push ups and glute work outs on what ever day you feel like doing each and I fasted for a week. I only ate once every 24 hours, usually around 8/9pm. I'm a "love to eat" type, so when I'd feel like I was about to cave, I'd eat fruit, crackers, small things to satisfy my craving but wouldn't make me feel heavy. Stomach work outs, glute work outs for at least 30 minutes to an hour). It's easy to do. When you watch TV- work out too.

I also have had a hard time accepting the weight gain as we REALLY become women (i'll be 30 this year) and our bodies change. I kept getting stuck on being tiny as I was all through my early 20s. I finally lost about 23 pounds, got 7 more to go. I learned, if YOU dont like it, you have to start working on it now. Dont wait until youre extremely uncomfortable with it then get sad or depressed. Youre beautiful regardless of the weight gain, it actually looks nice on you sis but if you dont like it just actively work to change it.

As far as the weight loss- work out 3-4 days per week. Hour jog/walk, stomach exercises, push ups and glute work outs on what ever day you feel like doing each and I fasted for a week. I only ate once every 24 hours, usually around 8/9pm. I'm a "love to eat" type, so when I'd feel like I was about to cave, I'd eat fruit, crackers, small things to satisfy my craving but wouldn't make me feel heavy. Stomach work outs, glute work outs for at least 30 minutes to an hour). It's easy to do. When you watch TV- work out too.
