Thanks for the very detailed video. The only thing I would add is to bail as much of the water as you can before removing the pump. Lift off the spinner and remove the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher then use a sponge and turkey baster to remove all the water in the sump. When the water is out take a look at the pump impeller with a flashlight. If it doesn't turn easily with a finger you might get lucky and find there is just a piece of glass or something that is jamming it. Clearing the jam would save you having to replace the pump.
Thank you guys! I used this video and part to replace the drain pump on a Bosch Super Silence Plus 42 DBA that was throwing up an E63-02 error code. Getting the unit disassembled was quite easy, but putting it back together was hard. I had a hard time fitting the new pump in. I had to use plenty of dish soap on the unit itself, rather than the pump, and push quite firmly. I wish I'd taken a video of how I disassembled the unit so it would have been easier to put back together. I followed other commenters advice and used towels to clean up the excess water before disassembling the unit, so very little spilled out.
Thank you for the great video. My drain pump was starting to make a funny noise so I ordered a replacement from you guys and 3 days after receiving the pump finally gave out. This was a great step by step video on replacement Thanks!
When I removed the pump, a small piece of plastic came out so I reinstalled it and it works perfectly. I guess I have an extra pump if it goes bad. Excellent video!
What a great video. Thanks so much. I tested it before reassembly just to make sure no leaks (would be harder to tell with the door back on). Wasn’t prepared for so much water coming out when taking the pump off. Should have removed as much as I could from the filter area first.
I order the pump. I tried testing it with my meter. Was not sure if I did it correctly. I tried on the two outside points of contact I had nothing. I found no obstructions in waste water lines so I am assuming it is the pump@@appliancepartspros
I would be all set and done by now if ups had not mishandled my new pump. If it comes, it will be Tuesday or I have to call and get another@@appliancepartspros
Only the three side screws and top corner screws hold the door panel. You can leave the top midge two screws which hold the control panel. Thanks for the clear video though.
Ottima descrizione del procedimento. Attenzione, prima di cambiare la pompa di scarico, valutare la pompa di carico: se la lavastoviglie si è spenta durante il lavaggio, può essere perché si è surriscaldata la resistenza di quella.
We have a Thermador DWH650WFP, now ~3 years old. We hadn't been cleaning the microfilter as much as we should have, but we are now. There's a collection of oily residue on the filter which we clean out, which I believe is expected. After opening it up recently, we found that the round reservoir that holds the micro filter has standing water in it. Is this normal? It never overflows past the flat fine filter so we never see water collecting in the bottom of the dishwasher. I evacuated the water, inspected the drain pump and took out the pump cover. I didn't see or feel anything blocking things. I manually touched the drain pump rotors and it seems to rotate freely. I replaced the pump cover without issues, thanks to your other video. I ran a quick rinse cycle and inspected it again. It again had standing water within that round reservoir, about half full. Is this normal?
I replaced the drain pump on my Bosch dishwasher and thought I should test it before putting the door skin back on. The dishwasher doesn't seem to fill with water, it just seems to run the drain pump
Hi. Great video. I’ve taken the faulty pump out but for the life of me I can not get the new one in. 3 hours I’ve been trying and am on the verge of giving up. Help!
You have to grease or oil the rubber o-ring on the new pump, and clean the hole where it goes into, remember--turn it counter-clockwise to re-install it
Hi there, how can I know if the drain pump is defective or good please? I measured the ohms resistance and it showed 91ohms between each phase. Also the propellor turned smooth. Appreciate any help 🙏
I’ve been trying to get the drain pump lid on for the last couple days it’s like a half inch from the seating hole. Is there something I can do. I’ve destroyed my fingers as well as used pliers and screwdriver to push down but it’s down to the bottom won’t go anymore.
Thanks. We did everything you said and bought your part but now when we go to run it, it turns on, it doesn’t beep at me letting me know it’s unhappy and LOOKS like it’s going to start a load. The numbers display :09 for a rinse cycle, but nothing happens. It acts like it’s running but nothing happens. We made sure to turn the water back on to it and the disposal is plugged back in. I would think either it would beep at me or I’d get an error message, but it just loops :09 to arrow and back and forth but never running. Any ideas???
My drain pump in my Bosch dishwasher is turning (plastic fins are all there) but not draining water . The pathways are seemingly clean. Is it the rubber valve near this pump which is responsible? It seems intact. Thank you.
MAKE SURE IT’S THE RIGHT PART NUMBER BEFORE YOU ORDER! Since our dishwasher looks EXACTLY like this one, I assumed your link would be for the correct part. It looks the same but was NOT the one for our dishwasher. I’d suggest instead of directing people to the part, link them to the part finder and how to find the exact part for their dishwasher before ordering. The wrong part looks identical to the correct one.
Can that front metal panel (called "frame support" in the video) be removed without taking the door off? Taking the door off seems like a lot of work just to get to those two screws holding that front panel on.
I have a Bosch 800 series dishwasher and replaced the inlet valve and the drain pump. When I reassembled everything the dishwasher runs fine but the panel won’t come on. Is there is reason the panel lights are not coming on? Thanks

I used a small siphon hose and got my completely dry
I just used a bunch of old towels and tossed them in the washing machine after
Thanks for the video. Just replaced pump and probably saved $100. Toughest part was getting the door back on!
Thank you. I have successfully taken out the pump. I had to get all the water out first, I used a siphon hose.
Glad you were able to get the pump off. If you have any questions or need help with anything please let us know.

Thank you!! You save me hundreds of dollars, with this video.

Thanks for the great video! We replaced our drain pump.
Makes it look easy…I’m ready now!
You've got this!

I had this problem too. It's hard to do. I had to use dawn soap on the o-ring and the hole. It was very frustrating.

Why bother? For $35 just replace the dang thing.

Mightve nicked or crimped a wire during the repair
Thank you!
btw what is the difference between this one and 00611332?

Good video, but absolutely no reason to pull the front door panel off.
I wondered why for he did it??
Не проще перевернуть? Всю дверь разбирать, так себе удовольствие.
What error code is this repair?
