This video taught me how to remove the white plastic cover for the drain pump using a teaspoon so I could check the impeller. A piece of glass was stuck in the impeller assembly, preventing it from spinning freely. Once I removed the piece of glass and made sure the impeller was spinning freely, the dishwasher was able to run through its cleaning cycle. Thank you SO MUCH for your informative video. Helpful vid, thanks!
Worth pointing out that the white plastic gaurd piece in front of the impeller must click back in properly. It looks like it just rests in the groove, but if you leave it like that then it'll float up, then get sucked in during the drain program and the motor will make strange noises.
Worse still, it tends to sink back into the groove so you don't even know it's not properly clicked in and might just assume your motor is knackered!

I checked the drain pipes and holy .... it was full of black stuff. Smelled horrible too. I cleared the stuff out and so far no more E22 code. Perfect tutorial, was able to follow it despite being pretty much the opposite of a handyman. Unfortunately couldn't find anything in the filter, the impeller, the pipe or the u-bend so looks like I'll having to get someone in anyway. Dishwasher is less than a year old! :(

Oh dear that’s not good, if it’s under a year then should be fixed under guarantee.

    THANK YOU !!!
A great "to the point video" that gave me confidence to fix it myself.
I would never have done this before the video.
In the impeller I found shard of glass and piece of bone.
I'm so proud of myself ...thank you.
