When I was 15 years old, a man told me: get up to my car or I will make you do it. At first, I told him "leave me alone!", but he insisted on his threat. I remembered that my father had told me: if you are on the street and someone wants to hurt you, knock the closest door, and shout as if you lived there. So, I did. The guy got scared and fled. I tell you this in case someone need to think quickly during a threating situation like the one I lived. Hope you don't need it.
It also tends to be more effective than the choreographed moves. Everyone seems to think that going for the balls is the best way, but that takes aiming and some measure of skill and strength, kicking someone in the balls isn't a sure fire way to make them fall on the ground crying, but if you have grabbed them by the head and are scratching their face up they will be in the fetal position in seconds. Nice to see a fellow ARMY in the comments.
Them: aLL u neEd t0 dO iS tO sOLvE fOr X Tf do we need to have calculators and paper ballpen while we're at this situation? Schools should teach some of these things.
Schools: If i have 89 chairs with only two legs, 9982 centipedes, 2 cats from Chernobyl and 45 Russian ballerinas, how many legs would there be in total?
You can join WWE and strikeforce and MMA or learn self defense karate or kickboxing, elbows, learn how to block punches. That's how you defend yourself.
I actually taught this to my cousin who is only 9 even tho he is a boy he got assaulted by an older man in the past and I don't want that happening again. I hope everyone stay safe!
Even if it's not a perfect defence for young kids (as some people are saying) good on you for helping your cousin in that way. Hopefully, he'll go to youtube or some self defence class and learn more.
Extra note: If you know or are suspicious you are being followed, try to be around lots of people, lose them in a bunch of streets if its daylight, call someone and tell them where you are and what you're doing right that moment (but not in a secluded area) . If they can follow you all the way home, they will - make sure that doesnt happen. Mislead them, get a lift from a taxi/uber/loved one. If they approach you, do not be afraid of making all the noise in the world, making it clear you do not know them (especially if still of school age) or want them around you. Make things difficult. Make things noisy. Make things known. They love when they think they have control of someone quiet and scared. Let someone know what's going on. Whether shouting in the street, or pretending to know someone and letting on that you're being followed. They also look for you being distracted, so if you're staring at your phone a lot it might increase the likelihood. Have at least one ear free for hearing anything, and be vigilant to strange behaviour of strangers. It could be something as simple as standing closer to you than necessary while waiting for transport, when there's a lot of space. You'll get gut instincts, likely. Dont brush them off as paranoia, you notice things for a reason.
Also if you think someone is following you, just act bat sht crazy, just get on the ground and start singing songs in the melody of the abc’ . Idk dude just be really crazy if someone approaches you with bad intentions
Also, they most likely won’t attack in broad daylight. They will probably follow you home, so unless you are not around people or it’s not day, walk around the block in loops, the’ll eventually stop following you.
The thing is if I were in my neighborhood or something and was getting attacked and I screamed no one would care that I was screaming. I'm sure this is the same for many other neighborhoods that have a lot of little kids. The little kids will just run around screaming and no one cares, so if you scream they'll just think it's another little kid.
FecklessCretin of course it would. sure, it might not be the best technique, but it gives young girls a better chance of getting the fuck out of there. women's self defence is important and should /really/ be taught in schools.
Jessica Morgan nah... this would rely on an attacker being willing to let you do all these techniques without reacting like the guy demonstrating them here
Ayo girls, If you ever come across a life threatening situation, try to hit them in the nuts if you get an opportunity. Keep stomping them viciously. As a guy, there's nothing hurts more than when my little bros come across any sort of a force directly. And don't trust anybody. Everybody has the potential to hurt you so be aware and safe. Blessings for all the strong women out there 🙏🏽
More than that, firstly try to get the fuck out of there. Individual man might be taken down if you are strong and smart enough, but if he has any friends and you try to be the brave guy there, you could be so screwed. So keeping safety first, don't stay there to teach him a lesson or crap. Police will well handle that job. Just nope out of there.
@@Cherrylovemiraculous Yeah, I'm sorry I should have used a language easier to understand. As much as I hate to say it it, rarely will a man come for you without backup. So instead of fighting there like a hero, try to run away to the civilization.I can't say sweet kind stuff, but I can tell you the legit stuff. So don't take the risk of getting overpowered, just run. (Predators watch these kinda videos as well)
I actually feel the same, like this requires a lot of not doing anything from the raper. The whole the arms straight thing, well arms are the first thing to grab usually. The only good advice I see is kicking but even that is not the efficent way to kick if you ask me.
@Jack Miller wdym stfu? i tested this shit on my gf and it def doesn't work maybe its height difference but she can't even reach my shoulders to initiate the defensive movements
@Travis Blue so u want women to cheat on their boyfriends? Wth... Dude, it hurts when getting rape for women, okay? Also we have to give births. Its not wrong to give birth but even underaged women also get raped. Why would people rape someone he love if he can do something else to attract the woman? Raping doesn't attract women.
I ain't a rapist, but I still disliked. This video, just like many others, counts on the fact that the rapist is not going to actively try to rape you. In the real life scenario this defence cannot work. It's true that if she keeps her arms straight, she can hold my weight. But I have arms too. All it takes is a little push and the girl won't be able to hold me. It's really naive to think that there's a magic move to save you from rape once you're on the ground. Before you get on the ground, your fighting chances might be higher. But once you're on your back, there's nothing you can do against a stronger enemy.
I've been attacked, and first thing the rapist did, he banged my head against the wall pretty hard. Frankly speaking, such beating dissorients you and by the time you are on the ground you can barely control your moves. From what I heard, rapists uaually prefer to disable their victims prior to the rape. But this is still good info, thanks for showing!
@@MariahCarried yeah, it happened 20 years ago, but I swear the fear is always there, and I got a habit of looking behind me all the time whenever I walk, doesn't matter day or night. Of course such stuff traumatizes forever. I guess it fades, but doesn't go away completely.
My sister got attacked few weeks ago you know brothers will be brothers so i went out and found him it was about 4am we had a full on scrap both me and this guy coverd in blood dont know how i made it to the hospital because he stabbed me in the shoulder aswell but i just left him on floor anyway my sister got a phone call from the police saying they have him but hes being treated in hospital for a brain bleed and a ruptured spleen i persnaly would let him die but thats that
Me: they should really teach this in school... Schools: It’s inappropriate Me: so what happenes if one of your students get f*cked... School: *tHe pOliCe*
They won’t teach it because it’s more important to learn how to solve for x then to know how to defend ourselves in dangerous situations that destroy our mindsets after
Most rapes are done by close friends, family friends, family members. Or some other person in a powerful situation using that power. Never forget that our stereotypical picture of rape is flawed. It is rarely a stranger. The courage needed to fight off someone in a position of power or an authority figure goes beyond being able to fight physically. But i would recommend doing martial art or a self defense class in any case, because it most of all builds confidence and courage.
Tip: always, whenever you’re walking alone hold keys and a pepper spray. Walking down the streets with my girlfriend three drunk dudes appeared and tried to pin us down, she pepper sprayed two of them and I hit their heads on the wall. I know it sounds violent but you gotta do what you gotta do to survive. The third one pinned my girlfriend on the wall and punched her, but I “stabbed” him with my keys and kicked his balls. I hope no one goes through what we went through Edit: I hope no one goes through what we went through, it’s if not the most one of the most terrifying experiences that a woman will go through
Lads, this situation is a go all or go home. As soon as you feel the slightest discomfort and the thought "I don't want this right now" you need to be fully entitled to stop it. If you are uncertain, you will regret it later on. I came back to this video because I realized I would have needed it a year ago if I was courageous enough. And now I'm stuck with the aftermath of not having stopped it when I still had the chance.
This is good to know. The problem is most people never think about rape happening to them, so they get caught off guard. You need to be prepared at all times. The more knowledge you have, the better off you will be.
Actually the problem is that most people think that their attacker will kill them so they are trying not to anger them more. However if women were taught about the actual likelihood of this actually happening maybe they would be more willing to fight back. It is understandable and in some cases very true that a woman will be killed or at least hurt badly for resisting or fighting back an attempted rapist, but in reality out of all who try to rape women not many are going to take it to the level of actual murder. At the time this isn't enough time to process this
having already been in the situation, the next time a guy ever tried to assault or rape me I would have no problem fighting back hard, because I have realised now that it probably isn't realistic that I'm going to be killed, but that was 100% the feeling at the time the first time. The second time it was just being stuck and not wanting to over-react. The second time it was less sinister though
ranoutofeyeballs Submitting to the absolute most heinous abuse for fear of being killed is very bad, extreme trauma. It is best for the potential victim to defend himself or herself from rape regardless of anything because Not fighting back always harms even more, and then there is HIV or AIDs. The diseases may kill you too. Living with this type of trauma is far worse than dying for a lot of people. Plus what is the point of survival with no dignity? Fighting back literally saves lives and prevents the most heinous trauma. Male rape victims need just as much support because for men it's harder to get help because they think they won't be believed
Stuff like this should be taught in school. Our education about respecting others bodies and boundaries should be improved and taught at an earlier age, too. Great video, it's really helpful. Rape happens in so many scenarios, I think sometimes people forget that rape does not only happen on the street by a stranger.
Self defense is thaught in my school and I'm very glad about that. I live in Germany and I'm pretty small and skinny, but oh boy I can fight better than most of the boys in my schoolyear. I feel safer, because I know how to fight back. I mean you never know when something like that will happen to you. So It's good to know.
Yeah. It's hard for me to walk though the city at night because I'm so scared, even though I live in one of the safest citys in the world, I just can't convince myself that it won't happen. It almost feels like it's guaranteed to happen nowadays
sophia m Why? Men need this more as they are more likely to be attacked and they don't only have to protect themselves but they have to protect women as well.
I took a class where they fake attack multiple guys on one female. The worst part was the self realization that I simply cannot beat them. After struggling with every single thing I had left in me, I simply cried as I was dragged into a ‘dark’ room and they closed the door. This was all a test but that class left a huge scar on my ego.
I m a guy and I hate to realize that we really need a lot of girls to learn these things in 2021. But at the same time I love that men like these are doing a good job in teaching self defense.
I'm a girl, but I also feel bad for guys as well. Cuz girls ain't the only ones. And plus if this sort of thing happened to guys, they're less likely to report it than girls, and people or society, in general, treat male sexual assault survivors different (meaning badly) compared to females (who are usually supported by people around them).
@@cigypaul6039 men get reported less because they are the main people who do it. They literally report a man being raped by an other man this year think he woke up in blood and got raped so they are both reported equally but men a little gets rape because they are the main ones who do rape towards women.
I'm a teenage girl, I never once got to experience going to the mall with friends. I never went to visit friends, I never went shopping, I never had the chance to do anything. The reason being my mom won't let me go out because of bad men. I want my freedom.
I'm sorry to hear that! I had the same situation. I used to get angry at my mom because I really wanted to be kinda free, but now I understand her. I don't have kids, that is why I only can imagine how scary it really is to have children in this dangerous world. Your mom wants the best for you! Please stay safe, love!
So do I and my mother says I will have to listen exactly to what she says until I get married! No matter if it's right or wrong. I can't go to a party, can't go shopping with my friends, can't go to the road a bit, can't talk with boys, can't dress unwantedly, can use devices (this is my mother's phone), can't eat non healthy food, she should approve of my lover otherwise no. But I listen to her no matter what bcz it's for my own good.
The worst part is that this is nothing like real life situations where you have to consider: - victims are under the influence of alcohol or drugs - wearing shoes such as heels, sandals, flats which are not made for running - clothes are often torn apart, very distressing feeling - in fear, shock and panic so body often freezes up as a stress response - occurs at night when no one's around - rapists are more violent and will physically abuse you first - if this fails you will most likely be hurt even more It's best to never go anywhere alone, and if you must always notify someone where you are going, go with people you trust, carry a small pocket knife (only if you know how to handle one, they may use it against you) or pepper spray with you if you can. Praying that we all stay safe, ladies.
Also if ur a little kid bc trust me I had no idea at all what to do at all if my older sister wasn’t there who knows what would of happened it’s true how people freeze up I just stood there looking into space but she knew we had to get out of there and I am forever grateful for that
1st) not all are under the influence 2nd) just take off the fuckin shoes. Who cares if they were 200 dollars. 3rd) YOU'RE BEING RAPED. Who cares about clothes just run.
Andrew Mendoza for ur #3 whenever this stuff happens a lot of the people are in shock I’m not saying all people. I’m saying this from my own experience. I literally just stood there scared starring. I completely froze bc how scary it was not all people can run when my sister grabbed me and screamed run that’s when I realized I needed to get out of there as quickly as possible. Ur also right they aren’t always under influence he was kinda slow I think
@Travis Blue Just shut your mouth you maybe think of this as a joke to get some attention and probably this reply won't even change you, but i know you read this and i know you want to just continue browsing or whatever, but now you can't forget this. Please just for one moment, think about what you wrote. Think about a young girl getting raped, that can never live life like the rest of us ever again. Think about what those people would feel when reading your comment. I hope you get up and cry in a corner for what you did disrespecting victims of one of the worst things that can happen to anyone. Get some help.
How do you know they clicked on this because they are scared? Granted most people probably would want to learn this, but this is also the type of shit RUclips throws at you randomly.
Excuse me, how that would be less uncomfortable knowing she's his girlfriend? She's taking part into video voluntarily so how her relationship to that guy matters.
Ladies PLEASE read this. This should only be used as a SECONDARY resort to having a concealed carry, and if you cannot have a pistol than have mace or even OC spray if you can get your hands on it. Even the most determined attacker will falter when he is blinded, breathless and in extreme pain.
One of the first self-defense tips I learned as a teenager was that you should focus on injuring rather than just hurting your attacker. Their adrenaline is already pumping before they lay a hand on you, but yours won't until the attack. Because of this, a hyped up attacker can keep fighting despite the pain of being scratched or bitten. However, it's much harder for them to orient themselves with a ripped-out eyeball or a busted knee-cap. Ribs don't know that they've been broken by a boot, a chair, or a curb; they just know that they've been critically damaged. So, go ahead and be creative.
Yeah exactly. Blinding is a good option. Anything that will actually stun instead of just "hurt", because adrenaline will keep them going unless something major happens.
The groin attack is oversold in Hollywood and TV. Once again, some men will bowl over from it, some will just shrug it off. There are even a rare number of men who aren't affected at all by a shot to the crotch.
Unfortunately women (and even men) don’t watch videos like this until it’s too late. This needs to be shared everywhere! I feel like self defence training should be a mandatory thing!
Rafael men? lmao. well a male kid can be raped by a woman: i agree a man can be raped by a man: i agree a man can be raped by a woman: almost impossible. only if she put something in his drink or if he is too drunk. woman cant force a MAN into sex.
Anita hj I understood exactly what you poorly wrote. A man can be raped by a woman without being drugged. You may want to check your grammar and facts "dumbass."
Anita hj There are many documented cases of grown women raping grown men without drugs or alcohol. Your men? Lmao comment was rude and ignorant. Calling me names, which you could do all day it's honestly hilarious, just adds to it.
I’m a male and seeing this on my recommended page really baffles me. It’s really terrible that these type of things have to be taught. Especially this specific. It really puts things into perspective.
I have an older sister, and I always hear my parents and her arguing over her safety because of men like this. It's just so sad to hear them argue every night just because of a few sexually deprived psychopathic men out there...
Chloe Reed rape had been happening for a looooong time. During wars the victor would ransack the losers house and rape the womens in that house.(i hate using victor and losers but idk a better word). The old greeks tale there are a few stories how a woman would be running away from getting rape. i think one of them is medusa(there are many version, some say she was raped). Anyway this thing had been going on since old times. What makes you think it will stop? Robbery, thieving, murder, as well as rape, all crimes are still happening in this world, none of them ever stop. There will be bad people as well as good people. Anyway, pls stay safe and be alert.
Yeah they should hire self defense instructors and have them teach all the students every once in awhile, like once a month (kinda like a fire drill but ppl go and learn how to defend themselves from knifes and stuff)
A guy at my high school tried to hurt me and honestly, this video(and several others) helped. Was able to get away for the most part. Be safe out there
Everyone’s saying this is what schools should be teaching but in reality they should be teaching consent and respect. Prevent the event before it happens.
It’s sad that I’m a 15 year old girl having to teach myself this because schools don’t think it’s neccecary and my parents won’t let me learn how to fight
If a courses teach how to punch or wrestle - SKIP THEM. Try to find courses that teach situational awareness and how to use pepper spray or taser, how to be aware that you might need to use them and be ready to do so in an INSTANT
Schools will get sued to oblivion if any instructor gets in anything close to that position with a student also some schools do teach how to fight these are military schools (for children it just has military in the name you don't actually have to join the army. You cannot blame schools for not teaching how to fight because according to them crimes do not exist and we live in a fair world where intellectual capacity is the only thing that decides how successful we are
what makes me so happy about this is that there ARE good men and people in the world who want to educate women on self defense if they ever are in a situation like this. thank you so much for this and also thank you to the other people who do what you do
what makes me sad is that this comes as something new to you. why would any sane human, regardless of gender, want another human to go through suffering if they can teach them how to avoid it?
Holly Morris Earth, and yes, it can be difficult honey. Most of guys only pretend to care about girls safety but it's just a play. I'm listening to what they say when girls are not around all the time... Even the "good boys" are fucked in a head.
Just as a warning to everyone, when I was raped I was 13 years old. And although I believe us women can be just as strong as men, a teenager or the average woman probably can’t fight off a full grown man. Also, in my case my attacker had a weapon with them, this video is a great start, but always remember to try to avoid any situations that could get you in this position in the first place.
want to learn self defense ladies? learn jiu jitsu. not this crap. hip placement with foot is great although you should finish with a submission not a strike. For you need to land many strikes to subdue an angered man, a choke or a submission will stop them in their tracks. plus that woman had a great setup for an arm triange or an armbar.
When I was in elementary what seemed like a drunk woman randomly pulled up to me, she opens her car door and pats down onto the seat saying "want some free icecream?" I had an awkward moment just looking at her as if she was stupid for a few seconds and just walked away. I still wonder what could have happened if I were to go in the car that day.
As a survivor of sexual assault, I would blame myself a lot for not being able to escape and feeling weak. I hope to never have to use these techniques but it is important to learn. I hope everyone stays safe
Thing is,these selfe defense classes are unrealistic. Good in theory, until the guy starts punching you in the face, strangling, or has a weapon pressed to you. I mean I guess it's good to know some self defense, but I believe screaming, clawing, going for his eyes, biting, is just as effective.
Very true, posted this already in other threads, leaving here in case it is of help: I am leaving this here because I am very worried at some opinions being discussed, since I graduated it has been part of my daily job, in one iteration or another, to protect those who can't protect themselves from the absolute worse this world has to offer. From my experience and study, civilian and systematic systems of martial arts, which have been mentioned a lot around here, have been for decades already only taught for competition or fitness, not to disable, hurt and neutralize, those techniques are already lost in time or not applied besides a couple places in their countries of origin or groups and institutions that require you to posses lethal force capability besides firearms, no matter how grandiose and overwhelming an instructor pretend their martial art is (and it will be part of the imprint of their job to do that), it is not teach to harm seriously, they have settled, adapted to a modern life of reasonable peace and order. A rapist WANTS to harm you seriously, the very fact he/she wants to commit such despicable act shows it, teaching competitive movements or even fake crap in a controlled environment and giving men or women confidence based on that is lowering their chances of retaliation, like in this video, because synaptic connections have been already stablished in the brain and muscular memory has been deeply etched, thus they will react to C and D scenarios, and if they are facing a B or A scenario instead, they will be crushed, the only practitioners of martial arts or self defense methods, that managed to use them in actual combat (not just brawls and domestic abuse, the real thing, because that is what it is when you are facing an aggressor out there) with good results, while not facing a clearly inferior or non overly aggressive opponent (and we are not even discussing weapons), were people with an olympic preparation level or that practices full-contact combat sports as well. We have to stop all these rambo/ip man fantasies that gives people "tools" which are not going to be useful if, instead of a deterrent they need to fight for their lives. Rapists are among the most wicked beasts you can have the disgrace to face, their very mindset is already beyond reason and empathy, the lesser of them look for an easy prey, trying to get their target intimidated, in those cases a self defense method, some sort of weapon, or even attracting attention of others, will deter them, can even be disabled, but, if you get to face the worse of their kind, verily psychopaths, their mindset already is superior to yours, because they do not think like a regular person, there is no morals or atavistic barriers that impede what they want to do to you or makes them think twice giving a chance, by their very own degenerate nature they already posses the feral predator mentality that you have to train people in service to obtain. While most humans are rational people that act upon certain social agreements. That said, if their physical capabilities are at least equal to yours, because of that mindset you are already screwed, they will win, in the milliseconds that take for you to attempt to react and plan to lock them (and milliseconds they are only if you had previous and specific training), they will bite your nose off. Do I sound exaggerated?, a doomsayer?, probably, in my line of work I have seen for years vomit inducing scenes in which the victim thought they could handle the assailant. They could not. Now, what do we do?, do we leave posible victims without resources?, absolutely no, do we like, share and encourage amateur garbage like this video which is made for pandering, exposition and monetary gain, most certainly not. Do proper research on your own (be critical and skeptical), check credentials (backed ones, not just mentions of what they are/do), seek certified instructors (not by their peers or predecessors but by associations or groups with history and reputation on real application of their matters), if your location/laws/beliefs/mindset allows so, train for and buy easy carry firearms, guns are a huge commitment and many see them as a threshold you cross into looking to kill, each has their own opinion and it is certainly a polarizing discussion, but if someone already will try to hurt you, and you don't want to be hurt, you hurt them back. My girls are all trained, discretely carry, and I have beaten the crap out of them (which no one was very happy about, most of all myself) back in the day to ingrain into them the reaction times, thought process and skills to not be a victim, and defend themselves with extreme prejudice if necessary, which I hope and pray would never be the case. They have also be taught to know the consequences of their actions, and to have the obsessive control upon their impulses that is required when you are given these kind of skills (or in trying to protect your own you are going to be creating a danger to all around). I think giving any specific pointers online and in comments is, while well-meaning, a bit irresponsible, but as things are, less I can do is: refer to what I said a bit above to acquire methods of defense. Try to avoid sketchy places and people (and those too perfect or charming too, trust your guts, we always know when something doesn't add). Do not let fear control you, but remind you to be careful. Have an attitude but without becoming confrontational, many unpleasant encounters are avoided by showing confidence. Stay in public or bring company whenever you can, make sure someone knows where you are going to be and how you are going there, the more the better. Accept NOTHING from strangers that is going to be in contact with your dermis or get inside of your body in some way, even if they were recommended or introduced by acquaintances of yours, if the offer is from people of close social circles, well it is up to your own judgement. All of this sounds awful, but these are the times we live on. Finally: if you MUST fight back, there is no other way, and have no other knowledge, skills or tools, (and again I do not encourage or recommend you follow this, at all, may make things even worse) go for the soft spots with your hard parts, aim to hurt and maim, thumbs in eyes, two thirds of a fist or bony ridge of elbow on the lower throat, kick like a mule on the lower edge of the solar plexus, with the heel of the foot if able, knuckles or elbow just above the temples ridge, fast pull of the hand over the wrist axis towards the upper side using all your strength, downward/upward kick from the side on their knee junction (depending on your position), with the lower part of your soles if able, if it is a woman and is unaware of your attempt at defense, hit with all your strength the breasts to gain a brief advantage, if it is a man and unaware of your attempt at defense, same goes for their testicles, however, if they have some sort of coverage (thick cloth and the like) are in movement or aware of your intentions, DO NOT try this, as it will have minimal effect and get you caught, also, if the aggressor has more agility/flexibility/speed than you, try to divert their attention and push onto them seeking to make them loose balance or situational control, if the aggressor has more strength and/or muscular mass than you, try to keep them at range and only go for the most exposed and soft targets, if you are able to outrun the aggressor, escape 100% of the time, if they can catch up to you easily, do not expose your back to them. Make noise, lots of noise if able. If you are pinned down, but still capable of moving your neck and jaws, and they have skin exposed close by, BITE, with all your strength, bite for your life, lock your jaws, tear flesh, take a chunk out, go for nose, ears, neck, fingers, our teeth can be a terrible weapon if sunk properly, the sudden pain may give you a chance, there could be bleeding, and the psychological backlash works on your favor too, our bite as well can even in time cause a serious infection. If they are armed with close range/blunt/hold/blade weapons, avoid them to corner you or grab you, if they have firearms, I have no concrete advice as to how to conduct yourself, most of the possible outcomes are bad, it is up to your conscience and your fight or flight response, if you end up on a struggle, do not hold their hands, wrists or forearm at first unless you are stronger and/or have a more solid stance advantage, hold the muzzle of the gun to your sides and slightly downwards (it is easier to push down than to push up for the one holding it), beware the heating some models have if fired continually, if you have knowledge of arms, try to put the safety on/take the magazine/chamber bullet out/lock the trigger. May all you stay safe and don't have to face such circumstances.
Anything goes man. I’m a guy and I love my girl but if I’m ever in a fight imma rip his balls off you know? Just be careful of which defense videos you watch
@@erenjeager5290 That is the best attitude, don't think like the prey they see you as, if you have to stand for the safety of a loved one, and there is NO OTHER more logical choice, be an animal, it would be ideal if you were to have proper, certified training.
Saftey tip: never go anywhere alone, always have someone (preferably a significant other or bestfriend that you know you can trust) you're less likely to be attacked when you have someone with you. I know this wont help in all situations, but it could decrease the chance of it happening. I always go places with someone, and when i dont, i make sure i have some form of weapon and keep my guard up. I really hope this doesnt happen to any of you and if it has, I hope you're able to heal. Stay safe.
You don’t always need to have someone with you if you’re in a public place with many people around that may be monitored. Having someone with you does help a lot, seeing as rapists usually attack people who are alone and more vulnerable. For the small percentage that may attack anyway, the people with you can serve as a witness to go get help or someone to help you fight off your attacker. Also, be mindful of where you are. Generally, in safer neighbourhoods and/or in broad daylight, it’s alright not to have someone with you. But no matter where you are, it’s not very safe to be out alone at night.

This is so helpful👍 thank you. Having been sexually assaulted on 3 separate occasions and froze every time, I have always been overpowered because of my personality. Its my downfall as a 5ft 9 inch female who could easily fight back. My actual reaction is to back off! I have been taught to try and talk your way out of dangerous situations, esp when men are stronger. I try not fight because as a women, I've always come off worse, and my attacker has always hurt me more. I've never had the confidence to actually fight back.
"Why isn't self defense taught in schools?" My high school had an all girl's gym class, we briefly touched on self defense and it was such a shit show. "If you get grabbed by the wrist do this" My teacher was female, had us do that drill 2 times and put on a movie with Jennifer Lopez ( I can't remember the name of it but her husband was abusive and followed her and their daughter, she ends up learning how to defend herself) and fold us if asked it wasn't for entertainment but education. Truth is she didn't wanna teach us. We're supposed to be taught this but we have lazy teachers or at least in my case...
Sadly, things like these happen unexpectedly, and you can't always carry any firearms everywhere. The best is to never go alone in sketchy areas, blend in with crowds, and be cautious around new people you meet.

Hey ladies I am a boy and here is a tip! If you feel like someone is following you hold your car keys in your hands they can be used as a self defense tool, another tip is if a guy tries to touch you kick them in the private area, nothing hurts more then that keep on kicking it until there on the ground then make a run for it to your local police station or any store that has people in it. Sad that you ladies need this in the world but stay safe okay queens? 💗

She did everything right, wore comfy shoes, walked in lit roads, made sure people knew where she was and yet, it still happened. I want to be safe and not be scared to walk around checking behind me every five minutes. If she did everything right and it still happened to her, whats to say I’m not next? Edit: I am 17 now, I have learned more and more self-defense moves and it really makes me feel safer going out, i carry a tazor, pepper spray, and a safety key-chain around with me everywhere. It's all helped me in one way or another. :))

A tip, I've seen many people in the comments saying how hitting the attacker might make him more aggressive and determined. It's true that our attacks may backfire so it's best to not attack recklessly. First, keep yourself calm, don't panic and think carefully. Make sure to examine the person to see if he's carrying a knife or any other weapon. Do not reveal your weapon (knife / spray) otherwise they'll try a different and more clever approach. If you're caring a weapon, let him get a bit close and appear clueless, when he's close enough for you to easily attack, aim for his eyes, neck, knee etc. Do not attack hand, arm cheek etc otherwise they can recover quick and chase after you. If not carrying a weapon, use a key. Makes a fist a and hold the key between your fingers so that the metal part is out and use it to stab him If not carrying a weapon, use your nails. Scratch his face, neck, even eyes! Show no mercy!! Use your teeth if he grabs you. Make one thing clear. Never let them grab you or pin you down. If your hitting him, aim for his knee or feet, making him fall down. Use your full force! Keep moving right left, forward and backward making sure he doesn't get a grip on you Another thing is, you can hurt a person by anything. People are saying how a rapist would be strong and hit you etc etc, it's not wrong but it's also not good to live in the fear of thinking that you'll lose anyway. Have faith in yourself. If your worried that he'll knock you out or punch you etc don't give him chance, once he's in your attack zone (close to you) he'll instinctively go for your shoulders, arms or wrist and push you to pin you down, which is why I keep saying do not stay still, keep moving around. Remember there are no limits to how much you can hurt them. If you get a hold of his hair (if he's not too tall but quite your height) try pulling it back with as much force as you can in a sudden movement, Jerking his neck then slamming his head to any beautiful thing you can find (pillar, road, ground, even your knee!) this will mess up his senses giving you a good time to escape. If you don't have nails, jerk your fingers into his eyes. Aim for the neck and stab him, or hit him with anything you have. DO NOT GIVE IN I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE IN!!!! And if you're a rapist reading this....I can predict you have something bad gonna happen to you soon..it's clear and it will scare you to insanity ♣️^^
idk if it comes down to it, if im not 100% confident that fighting back will get me out, i dont think id bother. it would make THEM fight back, and they would also have the upper hand in terms of strength and position. It would be so easy in that position to snap my neck, knock me out, choke me, etc and most women arent fighting experts or strong enough to get them off. After eight years it was recommended. As a guy though this is even helpful to me. I would hate to get caught in this situation. I’m praying for any victims out there that have been attacked by these evil people. Edit: Thinking back on it when I was about 11 I remember being in front of my house water our plants. My dad was cutting the grass so I wasn’t scared. He then told me he was going in the house too grab something but, he’d be right back. (My house has a larger solid door and a smaller glass door. So he just left the glass door unlocked and opened so he could see me.) So anyway I was minding my business and then saw a red truck that had it’s turn signal on to go left on this road out of are neighborhood (It was a man inside) However instead of turning he looked at me and started slowly coming straight towards my house. I AUTOMATICALLY ran up to the door with my hand on the knob. He then stopped and started rolling his window down but, when he saw my dad walking towards the door he immediately drove off super fast. It was so creepy that I couldn’t even stay outside any longer and had to go tell my mom everything. It’s a pretty scary world we live in.

In the case of attack majority of us will freeze (that's your body reaction to the shock and there's nothing you can do unless you've been professionally trained). So the best tactic is always expect for the worst especially when you're walking alone in the dark. Like this your brain will prapare your body for possible fight and it will not freeze in a case of attack. Always have a pepper spray in your hand. We live in the dangerous times so being vigilant won't do any harm
Yes!!!! There is a way to prepare your mind and train it not to go to freeze stage! It is not easy, but can be done! And perhaps the best way to help avoid the freeze is to be vigilant and aware what is going on around you. (This also deters people attacking you, because you do not seem like a victim and that might make them to decide let you go this time and choose somebody else. Maybe.) Your mind is ready and does go to fight mode instead shock mode.
I live in Mexico and I'm a woman. Courses like these are available, but they're usually quite expensive. Most women who suffer sexual violence live in poor communities who can't afford these type of courses. It should be the government's job to AT LEAST teach girls self defense since aggression is not stopping any time soon. I'm grateful because although I've lived fucked up situations, nothing has ever come to this. Thank you for teaching this for free.
To everyone saying that not only women get raped: Yes, we do know that, but this video is now focusing on women. I'm not saying that men don't get raped, but there's a difference between those two and therefore these tactics wouldn't be useful for men.
The problem is, it’s a fact that it’s easier for men to rape women than the other way around. And that has nothing to do with sexism but just with how the bodies work. If a woman wants to rape a man she needs to get him “up” and that doesn’t work easily
sounds like you know very little about the male anatomy. every man knows about a thing called morning wood and things that it is similar to. I'd suggest you look it up.

@@bluenpurple2328, my best advice is to not let fear control your life. Yes, I would suggest being cautious of this, but it shouldn't make you extremely paranoid. If you know a few defense moves and do have a person with you, I would say you'll be fine. If it scares you going out at night, invite a friend or a family member to go with you (idk your family situation or what you would be doing). And don't feel like you're being a coward. Everyone gets scared at times (and those who say they don't, really are lying). It doesn't make you seem like a weak or timid. It's makes you strong. Fear doesn't control you and you never should let it. Take deep breaths and always remember your parents and friends are there if you need to talk to them. (Sorry if it seems like I'm rambling, but this is really the best advice I have)
There's a lot of comments like "you need a gun/taser/spray/other weapon" *sigh.... ok a lot of rapes happen in this scenario: male and female start kissing/making out for whatever reason (after a date, drunk, whatever). Female repeatedly says she doesn't want to have intercourse for whatever reasons (drunk, too soon in relationship, not ready for that kinda intimacy yet.) Maybe she's stated this from the beginning or not, doesn't matter. Guy calls her a tease and keeps pressuring and trying to get more action. Maybe he's managed by now to get some of her clothes off and she keeps saying no. Then she realizes he's not going to take no for an answer panics and here we are: in this position they start in at the beginning of the video. Him pinning her underneath between her legs. Maybe she's not wearing shoes and he's tried to wrestle her shirt halfway off. That's how it happens. With someone you think you trust. Maybe your partner or live in boyfriend. This is not a situation where you have a gun holstered to your hip and you can just blow him away. That's what rapists do: they take a situation that should be about being relaxed and comfortable and loving and intimate and pervert it into a situation that's about power and control and is full of fear. The comments like "be prepared at every second" and "have a gun always"... if we did that all women would live their lives as armed to teeth spinsters with 15 cats and no relationship ever. We'd never trust anyone. We'd never have love because we'd never allow ourselves to be vulnerable, never stop being vigilant. Basically the reason why this video is awesome is because you need to be empowered to trust yourself to fight your way out of a situation where you are very vulnerable. You might be drunk, half dressed, barefoot and terrified and pinned underneath a large man. And yeah there's dozens of situations where this move won't work. That's why you gotta improvise and think fast and move fast and try other things. Maybe you'll get lucky and send that foot straight up into his face, break his nose, and he'll just give up and decide you're not worth it. If not kick him again. Kick as hard as you can however many times it takes to get away. I say if you wanna be prepared make sure you run every day. Fighting is exhausting, get your endurance and strength up.
It's sad that women have the need to learn it but it is an amazing thing that it is being taught. Schools should teach it to their students in high school
I took a self defence course in high school where we practiced similar moves. Only five people from the whole school took the course (which normally would cost like 200$ but we got it for free) and I was the only girl. This is something that should be taught in schools everywhere instead of volleyball and whatnot.

Women watching this, in such an intense situation, without years of consistent training, you WILL NOT remember complex movements such as these in the heat of the situation, if you really want to stop a rapist, LOOK FOR THE SIGNS, don’t walk through dark places, keep an eye out for people acting strangely, and stay well away from them, and alway go somewhere with a friend at night, don’t get drunk in public, and most importantly TRUST YOUR GUT. I know it sounds terrible, but it’s a fact of life. If you look for the signs, u should be ok, but if the situation is unavoidable, or you were dumb engough to miss the signs and avoid the situation, GOUGE THEIR EYES UNTIL THEY’RE HANGING OUT OF THEIR SKULL
Unfortunatly the rapists are most of the time people we know and we trust, they can act nice and then go nuts and just rape someone. it's not that easy to see the signs. When it's someone we know we just shut our instinct. Still yeah we should be careful when we are alone with someone or in the street etc.
@@manikmaharjan9258 yeah but, you know, I know, they know, we all know, that they know exactly what they shouldn't do. @Travis Blue Bot.
I recommend finding a local martial arts school that teaches self defense, not just sport martial arts
You could join some sort of martial arts, I’d recommend Jujitsu if you consider yourself short because Jujitsu is for people who are smaller
When I'm in trouble I just turn into a super sayian god
You can join WWE and strikeforce and MMA or learn self defense karate or kickboxing, elbows, learn how to block punches. That's how you defend yourself.
I actually taught this to my cousin who is only 9 even tho he is a boy he got assaulted by an older man in the past and I don't want that happening again. I hope everyone stay safe!
Jesus!!! He was less than 9 year old and boy , how can someone do that?
I think that person is monster. Need to hang them. They don't deserve to live.
Is the older man arrested tho?
Sadly I don't think a 9 year old can defend themselves just by learning this, they are just to small and weak
Even if it's not a perfect defence for young kids (as some people are saying) good on you for helping your cousin in that way. Hopefully, he'll go to youtube or some self defence class and learn more.

Extra note:
If you know or are suspicious you are being followed, try to be around lots of people, lose them in a bunch of streets if its daylight, call someone and tell them where you are and what you're doing right that moment (but not in a secluded area) .
@@Jishwa0_0 if you get on the ground then it would be easier for them to get to you, but yea act crazy
Also, they most likely won’t attack in broad daylight. They will probably follow you home, so unless you are not around people or it’s not day, walk around the block in loops, the’ll eventually stop following you.
@Hello There same here. So pol like us shiykdnt be distracted by our phones while we are walking
The thing is if I were in my neighborhood or something and was getting attacked and I screamed no one would care that I was screaming. I'm sure this is the same for many other neighborhoods that have a lot of little kids. The little kids will just run around screaming and no one cares, so if you scream they'll just think it's another little kid.
why isnt stuff like this taught in schools though

nah... this would rely on an attacker being willing to let you do all these techniques without reacting like the guy demonstrating them here
What has to be taught in school is simpler : do not rape...
Simple willingness to fight back - even if your technique is not perfect - can buy time which can be a vital difference. Know how I know? EXPERIENCE.

Dude, it hurts when getting rape for women, okay? Also we have to give births. Its not wrong to give birth but even underaged women also get raped. Why would people rape someone he love if he can do something else to attract the woman? Raping doesn't attract women.
Travis Blue Friend, red pill is not the way.

A. K. Agreed
Maybe you're right. I thought the human instinct is fight more than flight because of adrenaline.
The worst part is that this is nothing like real life situations where you have to consider:
- victims are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- wearing shoes such as heels, sandals, flats which are not made for running
- clothes are often torn apart, very distressing feeling
- in fear, shock and panic so body often freezes up as a stress response
- occurs at night when no one's around
- rapists are more violent and will physically abuse you first
- if this fails you will most likely be hurt even more

Yeah, I agree. Small pocket knife helps too.
What do you mean by “he” 🤨?
One of the first self-defense tips I learned as a teenager was that you should focus on injuring rather than just hurting your attacker. Their adrenaline is already pumping before they lay a hand on you, but yours won't until the attack. Because of this, a hyped up attacker can keep fighting despite the pain of being scratched or bitten. However, it's much harder for them to orient themselves with a ripped-out eyeball or a busted knee-cap. Ribs don't know that they've been broken by a boot, a chair, or a curb; they just know that they've been critically damaged. So, go ahead and be creative.
Frances Kirsch exactly. Great info
Frances Kirsch: Finally someone has some idea about self defense! Exactly as you said.

Very true, posted this already in other threads, leaving here in case it is of help:
I am leaving this here because I am very worried at some opinions being discussed, since I graduated it has been part of my daily job, in one iteration or another, to protect those who can't protect themselves from the absolute worse this world has to offer.
It’s also hard to do these things since most of the time your wrist would be held down.
Anything goes man. I’m a guy and I love my girl but if I’m ever in a fight imma rip his balls off you know? Just be careful of which defense videos you watch
I don’t think this would be effective unless you were able to do it without thinking about it and really quickly by practicing for hours

"Why isn't self defense taught in schools?"
My high school had an all girl's gym class, we briefly touched on self defense and it was such a shit show. "If you get grabbed by the wrist do this"
My teacher was female, had us do that drill 2 times and put on a movie with Jennifer Lopez ( I can't remember the name of it but her husband was abusive and followed her and their daughter, she ends up learning how to defend herself) and fold us if asked it wasn't for entertainment but education. I’m 15 turning 16 in a month. I’m watching this video in March 18, 2021. After hearing about Sarah Everard I’m scared.
same its okay just know that your not alone
no matter what we do we are always in danger unfortunately. and it will NEVER be our fault. i hope that one day, our daughters will not have to worry.
This is sadly true, but I personally believe that our thoughts kinda create our reality, so it’s always better to think positively😇
I just turned 15, my parents never let me do anything alone and were extremely protective, I never walked home alone because my mom always drove me from place to place and even if I did my older brother would walk with me.
The only 3 times I ever walked home from school alone were the 3 times someone has tried to kidnap me or follow me home.
I now cannot even think of walking anywhere alone and I'm afraid of being out at night. I am scared of walking alone, even if it's in broad daylight.
I know it seems like I'm being a coward but I really am scared and my heart accelerates at the thought of my parents ever thinking of telling me to walk home from school. I don't want to seem like the weak girl or the scared girl or the whiny girl but it's just too scary. (Plus the fact that ever since I hit puberty I've been a tall girl with a very mature body that makes me look like an 18 year old.
How do I stop being afraid of everything?

1. Why is this in my recommendation section?

Because schools don’t care about your life when you’re not in school. Schools only care that you learn skills you will actually never need or use.
School thinks that you’re “smart enough” to get out of a situation like this, but really a kid being held down by a fully grown woman or man, the older person will succeed in what they’re trying to do, which is really sad

Makes a fist a and hold the key between your fingers so that the metal part is out and use it to stab him
If not carrying a weapon, use your nails. Scratch his face, neck, even eyes! Show no mercy!! Use your teeth if he grabs you. Make one thing clear. Never let them grab you or pin you down. If your hitting him, aim for his knee or feet, making him fall down. Use your full force! Keep moving right left, forward and backward making sure he doesn't get a grip on you
Another thing is, you can hurt a person by anything.
And if you're a rapist reading this....I can predict you have something bad gonna happen to you soon..it's clear and it will scare you to insanity ♣️^^
im a male but thanks i guess
idk if it comes down to it, if im not 100% confident that fighting back will get me out, i dont think id bother. it would make THEM fight back, and they would also have the upper hand in terms of strength and position. It would be so easy in that position to snap my neck, knock me out, choke me, etc and most women arent fighting experts or strong enough to get them off. Id rather be raped than murdered or permanently injured. I dont want a stranger finding my body.

In the case of attack majority of us will freeze (that's your body reaction to the shock and there's nothing you can do unless you've been professionally trained).
This isn't the way men get raped by women.
The problem is, it’s a fact that it’s easier for men to rape women than the other way around. And that has nothing to do with sexism but just with how the bodies work. If a woman wants to rape a man she needs to get him “up” and that doesn’t work easily

every man knows about a thing called morning wood and things that it is similar to. I'd suggest you look it up.
These tactics could be useful for men too though
i'm 14 and i immediately clicked on this video as soon as i saw it. this is sadly my biggest fear and a lot of young girls feel the same
Holy sh*t, that's messed up.
@@yuxintian7500, yes it is messed up. But this is what some women/teens go through. It's sad and terrible but true. And considering that I myself am I women, I get it
Yeah me too, I just turned 15, my parents never let me do anything alone and were extremely protective, I never walked home alone because my mom always drove me from place to place and even if I did my older brother would walk with me.
(Sorry if it seems like I'm rambling, but this is really the best advice I have)
Once I saw this video I clicked on it almost immediately incase I ever have to experience this
There's a lot of comments like "you need a gun/taser/spray/other weapon" *sigh.... ok a lot of rapes happen in this scenario: male and female start kissing/making out for whatever reason (after a date, drunk, whatever).
Holly Green rape never happens in just one way.
if rape happened in just one way, girls like me wont be scared as fuck late at night walking on the streets
Thanks so much for this comment.
Savage Squad || True, but that’s the majority of scenarios // Someone you trust - Fewer where it’s out in the woods
This comment is the best. I agree with you !
It's sad that women have the need to learn it but it is an amazing thing that it is being taught. Schools should teach it to their students in high school
Boys to????? Uk that
It gets even sadder when there’s 2000 videos on women rape escape but no videos about men.
I took a self defence course in high school where we practiced similar moves. Only five people from the whole school took the course (which normally would cost like 200$ but we got it for free) and I was the only girl. This is something that should be taught in schools everywhere instead of volleyball and whatnot.
not instead! I know it's important but you shouldn't have to take away other activities just to teach it :P
Nathan Daldry Yeah, that might be even better! :)
What we lean at school is gymnastics, but I think it’s better to learn self defense than gymnastics
@@yesaruigrok8394 I dunno what if someone tries to rape me and I jump up the wall and climb onto a pipe, now not only do I escape a rape but I look cool
You know what's disturbing? The fact that people DISLIKED THIS VIDEO!
WHAT IN THE MATHEMATICS!
@Coach Mcguirk ma guy you good 🤨
Most of the ppls that disliked prob think it wouldn't work... just like most of Master Wong's techniques for da streetz.
@@53n47 or are just bots
Coach Mcguirk
I also think that sometimes ☹️
people who disliked probably just didn't like his method of defense
I hate how most schools teach students how reproduction works but won't teach them how to self defense against sexual abuse
Well to be fair reproduction is really important especially now since teenagers are glorifying teen pregnancy
true but like... they both kinda go hand in hand like ok if a man rapes a girl then she could get pregnant too-
@Miguelle Landry is a perfect 10 Nah people are. People love to glorify teenage pregnancy, like all those TV shows. It's so disgusting and stupid.
Miguelle Landry is a perfect 10 yes they are, all the tv shows and RUclips channels about teenagers with kids
@@gayretarduwu I don't think it's teen pregnancy either, at least for much more sophisticated(?) countries. I know where you're coming from since other cultures/shows try to 'inspire' young women to start a family.
While watching this I had teary eyes and goosebumps throughout the video.......it's so saddening to even realize that many people go through assaults on a regular basis....
The horror of that scenerio haunting for the rest of the life.....
For short term sexual gratification ruining someone's life completely with the forever scars and nightmares.....
Its not that common at all, stop listening to leftist idiots on twitter.
@@j.e.wattes8991 But it still happens though. Even if it doesnt happen on a regular basis, people still go through the trauma. So at least be respectful or just don't comment if you have nothing nice to say.

I don’t know.. I would never even be brave enough to use this techniques. I’d just scream my lungs out and struggle , to try to make him stop.. but like, irl, it’s unexpected, you freeze, you don’t “remember” and, as for my myself, I wouldn’t have the nerve or strength to put my arms up straight .. Like , I know 100%. So, I just avoid these type of situations from happening.
Gee - Gee thank you for the advices 😊
I truly wouldn’t have the guts to do so. Even if someone was trying to harm me, I wouldn’t try to be harmful to them to the point of blinding. Isn’t clawing someone’s eyes too extreme?
Francisca Salgado
I wouldn’t care, they are trying to rape me, they can pretty much die.
Gee - Gee I guess you’re right. Probably, if it was happening, I’d want to protect myself and wouldn’t hold back
-Mary- ahahaha
MMA TRAINER wdym?
It feels to me like we should actually teach guys what not to do than women what to do.
In the moment you will most likely be too scared, paralysed to move a single muscle..
This is nothing but bullshit and an attempt to blame the victim for the animals actions, disgusting
@@manikmaharjan9258 yeah but, you know, I know, they know, we all know, that they know exactly what they shouldn't do. Rape is just a selfish and sadistic act, you don't need to be taught "how not to rape" to know that when someone says no or their reaction to something is negative it means they're uncomfortable
Thank you for going slow and repeating the steps so we can clearly understand how to do this correctly. Also, thank you for switching your bodies so we can view the various angles. It's good to know not only what to do, but How to do something and what it's supposed to look like. 😊👍
