The purpose of this experiment is to test women's ability to defend themselves against a dangerous attacker. We want to see how women react defensively to various attacks. Along the way, we will be giving you some tips on how to enhance your survival against different types of attacks such as (ground fighting, hair grabbing and even kidnapping attempts). You will learn how to escape, trap, strike, and counter attack.
Caro has volunteered to help us with our self-defense social experiment. In this video, Caro is mounted by a male attacker wanting to hurt her. If you are in this situation, how are you supposed to react? How can you incapacitate a strong opponent when he has mounted you and pinned your hands to the ground?
Unfortunately, you can't use your knees or legs to defend, nor your head to strike back in this situation since he's right on top of you and holding your arms tightly. So, what's your other alternative? How could you escape?
If your attacker has pinned you down and mounted you, one great option is to perform a buck and roll to get your opponent off of you. Keep in mind that your knees should be bent upwards to do this. Once you're on top of him, you must start striking him immediately. You can palm strike him or even fight back by giving your opponent a solid elbow. Once you have incapacitated him, you must escape as quickly as possible.
Caro did a great job doing exactly that! She bucked and rolled her attacker rapidly and successfully even if he was much stronger and heavier than her. Congrats to her for managing to escape the situation.
In another case scenario, let's say your attacker has mounted you and is reaching towards your pants, wanting to rape you, how should you react to this? What should you do to defend yourself?
It's the same concept as the previous scenario, only this time you immediately strike him once he has let go one of your hands, whether it be with your palm or your elbow.
Afterwards, you can use your hips to perform a buck and roll, to get your opponent off of you. Once you manage to do that, you get out as fast as you can!

Lift up your knees. The person holding your hands will not be able to support your strength and drop you, in which point you will land the the guy u zipping your pants will lose touch and that will give you to opportunity to kick the unzipper in the head and run

I have martial arts experience and we sometimes do that for practice and you can buck somebody bigger than you, however it takes a lot more than a little bump especially if they are really big. And 90% of the time they won't go flying. They're are other more effective ways to do it though.

I remember when I stopped to tie my shoe and I lost my mom in a large mall and some pedophile grabbed me so I did what she taught me I kicked him in his junk then I kicked him in the shins then I screamed and ran to cause a seen and someone saw the whole thing and I begged for them to call police because my cellphone was in the car then they arrested them then I saw my mom and I ran to her she was calling my name and I told her what happened ever since then I was always triggered easily like when my mom tells me to stay somewhere alone I get nervous and I'm always on edge and my screams still echoes in my head to this day when ever I'm alone I always think I will get murdered and I stay up all night thinking that someone will break in and murder me and my family and I always pray for safety

I'm calling BS. A chick that small could not buck a big guy like that off of her. From my martial arts experience, I can say it's harder to buck someone your own weight than how she did him.
Also, Nick did everything pretty easily as well. There was a lot of cooperation in this video... not real world oriented.
Let me explain to you how this all works, and fyi I'm not trained in martial arts, I just have a brain.
Unless they are so big they literally have fat covering over your whole body, you can buck them. Know why? Because bucking is not just about pure strength of lifting someone up with your hips. You're also using the motion of tipping them over. You do not need to literally have them elevated into the air when you're using your hips to buck them, as long as they're somewhat elevated, you're then in position to tip them over which is how bucking works. The lifting plus the tipping together. And don't go around telling people you train in martial arts, they might lay you down and beat you knowing you don't know how to do something as simple as bucking.
Andy Le the fact that you you have no training in martial arts makes your opinion irrelevant. I'm guessing you have little real world experience in fighting as well.
I have a lot of both. I know how theory translates into fact. Your body weight - wielding the force of gravity- has for more potential than your muscular strength and leverage (what you were ignorantly referring to) could ever hope to have.
Any expert or black belt in the "throwing arts" such as Judo and Aikido will tell you that a much larger oponent has a monumental advantage over you, especially if he is also stronger than you. If he is both bigger and stronger, then you must possess a great deal amount of more skill than him to overcome it. If you are equally trained, or less so than the larger and stronger opponent, then you have no chance. Size DOES matter, but it's not everything.
I'm a former Marine and we have a lot of practice in grappling. Bucking is WAY harder than you would think, especially if the opponent on top of you is resisting your movements.
I've wrestled men and women who were bigger and smaller than me and I say this with 100% confidence that a woman that size CAN NOT buck me off of her, if I were serious, and I'm not even that big of a guy. My current weight is around 170, and when I'm in peak shape with a lot of muscle mass I'm in the 180's, with my peak weight being 195.
Go get some training and some fights in the real world then come back to me. When you've been in 10 real fights, have gotten your ass kicked a few times and have kicked some ass, come back to me and tell me how you realize that you are wrong.
I've gotten my ass kicked by guys who are smaller than me, and I've gotten my ass kicked by guys who are bigger. I've beaten the shit out of guys who are smaller than me and I've beaten the shit out of guys who are bigger. I know what i'm talking about.
John Ocelot you missed the point entirely. What myself and other guys in this thread are calling BS on, is the fact that what Nick taught is unrealistic.
Every martial artist knows that you NEVER try to over-power a bigger, stronger opponent. You either out-manuever them, or strike the "soft targets" such as eyes, nose, throat, mouth, ears, temple, solar plexus, groin, pressure points nerve endings etc.
SO a REALISTIC alternative for a woman in that position, would be to hammer fist his sternum, gouge his eyes, slap/punch his ears, claw the face, "swipe" the nose, tear the lips open, strike the teeth, squeeze his fingers, pinch his hands or inner-elbow etc. etc.
stephen richardson i am trained in martial arts and have bucked guys twice my size off of me with ease, its all in timing and technique. I am not saying that you are week or untrained, but maybe have to work more on timing....plus in real life situation adrenalin and pure will power can do great things if you have mental control over yourself, and i do agree the approach for a guy that size should be different since in that situation he will do anything to hold you down with his bodyweight

Rainbow Kittens Technically, but kids should have someone supervising them/watching them. If a kid starts screaming you’re more than to get distracted than minding your own business. Now that I think about it. Yeah, kids should learn something, and this includes things that don’t just have to do with defense.

This was worth to watch.
That little lady against a wall of muscle? Not a chance... The rapist doesn't even need to be like this guy to succeed. Adrenaline is going to make the attacker strong as it is. And yes the victim will get the hit of adrenaline, but they'll still be a step behind because they weren't ready for an attack, meanwhile the rapist had decided to act.
Great comment. This video had a decent idea with trying random people, but the guy in this video wasn't trying. He could easily pin down most average men, much less a woman with less than a third of his muscle mass. You have to train for a long time in a legitimate grappling art and strength train to even hope to have a chance of getting techniques like this to work in a real situation. There's so many details that even I as a basic level Jiu-Jitsu practitioner don't see her doing, or the guy teaching her, and in reality, a guy like him who was determined to attack wouldn't let himself get thrown so easily.
i have a question: are woman built weaker then men? somebody told me that women can be stronger then men but they naturally have less muscle mass? plz answer honestly.
Men have a greater natural muscle growth, but if a woman works out she can, generally, because at least as strong as a man. It depends on the people and how much they work out. Men are built stronger naturally, but if they don't put effort into working out, a woman can easily surpass him in strength.
Men have somewhere along like 50% more strength or something than women naturally, but as said they can work out while a man maybe doesn't. Also you have men and women of all sizes. A larger woman ( for example through bigger bones, more height, more natural muscle mass) can of course be stronger than a smaller man. But that natural increase counts for alot. Im a small man, 130 pounds and haven't worked out in years and I'm still stronger than most women that are waay bigger than me, even if they work out. Strength is alot about mindset though.

I would consider carrying a gun with you, and having someone with you at all times.
Having someone with me at all times as an adult is unrealistic and demoralizing and perpetuates the victim mentality from both sides as someone who is in a wheelchair and viewing it from societies stand point. Thank you though

I do not see how bucking would work when a guy might weigh 27 kilos more than you. Hooking a foot and then bucking is that the actual correct way to do it? I saw someone comment that's the way it should be done on the other video.

If done properly bucking and pushing off with both legs is a good strategy. Legs are your largest muscles (combined muscles) and can move 100's of pounds. The trap foot tech you mention is a better one combined with above.
