Barton Short Throw Shifter Install for a 2019 Challenger Scat Pack

Overview of a Rev.3 Barton pistol grip shifter install on a 2019 Challenger R/T 392 Scat Pack. If I can do this necessary challenger mod with regular tools so can you!

I just received my Barton shifter to install into my 2022 Scat Pack and I really cannot believe that Barton doesn't include a shred of paper or online instruction. The video they link to is quite different since it is from an 08-14 model year Challenger so I have to say I really appreciate your video and found it extremely helpful 😎👍👍

First video I’ve seen where you left the front bolt in and removed the rear bolt to lift out the old shifter. I’m gonna try your method. Thanks for the idea.

FYI. You don’t need to remove the boot from the console. Just twist the ball off the top and slide it up and out.
I just installed one last week. I put dyno mat on the tunnel cover plate. Molded with a heat gun. Cuts out a bunch of noise.

It’s not bad. I did the lock pins from under the car. Way easier. Took longer to jack up the car than to get those bastards in place
