Don’t want to moan as it’s early in pre season but the experienced players should be ashamed of themselves the young subs really showed them up today. The inexperienced youngsters actually looked better than the experienced first pick players.
Which is why I have said I would rather see us filed a team of young players for a few seasons and build a good side with transfer potential, to make money and build towards success and see the big picture vs backing much of the guff that was on the field. The young players are fearless and have a go at least and are motivated and hungry. I would take that over experienced serial losers any day. Also I could deal with a few ups and down swith a young team if we are seeing overall progress each season. What we are getting served up is stale. It's like going to someone's house for dinner and they make you the same meal for months on end because you said you enjoyed it once. Boring AF. Even if we are going to lose I want new faces and new hope. Why spend massive amounts that we clearly don't have. Just use and promote more youths. When there is no real money it's time to change course and see the big picture and that means if we have a young team we roar them on and not expect title success in an immediate season but within a few seasons of moulding a young team. A fan shift in expectation seems required. What's not happening is success with the same jaded duffers.

What we should have done in the lower leagues is mould a young side and build the best youths we could get up into a strong team. We should have seen the bigger picture. Instead we have tried to spend our way to success again, not learning lessons to the point we are at because we fail to see the big picture. If the reality is, there is no real money, then now is the time to use more youths and for us fans to back them and stick with a young and new gen Rangers team through ups and downs as they progress and we have to accept it may take a few seasons to build something special. We cannot measure by the same barometer of the past sides if as has been explained we have no real money. The young players look hungrier and way more motivated than many of the serial losers who have been around too long.
Not one fan have I spoke to is happy with the state of this club and what we are seeing happening right now. Serious alarm bells going off loud and clear. Same team no real first team signings. League may be over for another year already.

Butland cost us 2 goals today..He is not a good as he thinks he is.If he actually was world class the SPL would not be his level. Liam Kelly and Conor Barron did well. Dessers was Dessers again. I know is preseason, but players are earning good money.I expect them to be switched on as professionals
