Yeah the sweet spot isnt to deep and im glad this video helped you gauge your depth a little better. Thanks again for watching we appreciate the support! 🤘🤘
In my experience blowouts don't always show up immediately either, which I didn't see mentioned in the video. Chances are the last 3 or 4 lines should end up with a ton more color around them a day or to into healing, I would be interested in seeing a follow up video with how they look in the next week or so. I love your videos thank you!
*Me tattooing my thigh thinking I had a blowout* *art something riding the tube with the needles thrown out further than my setup and still not getting a blowout* The feeling of relief that gave me after watching this was incredible, now fingers crossed that mine heal ok too
Glad to hear you could see it as well. I wasnt sure if people would be able to see the blowout or not. And I too am happy the channel has helped prevent things like this from happening for you. Keep working hard and Keep ROcking Kayla!! 🤘🤘🤘
Your videos seem to come for me at just the right time. I'm getting some various thickness in my line work on my leg and thought "damn how am I getting a blowout" but nothing looks even close to these. I think I'm just struggling with inconsistent depth but nothing that is actually causing blowouts whew quite a relief
Happy to hear the video came out at the right time for you. One of the hardest things to do and I still struggle with it, is getting and keeping smooth consistent lines. I find the more I line the better it gets but i still get thrown off sometimes depending upon the clients skin. So keep working at it as it will come in time.
I saw the title of the video and I thought "No way is he gonna do the leg!" You proved me wrong. It was good to see it happen on proper skin and it looks so obvious on thick skin. Thanks for this 🤘🏻🤘🏻

This was such a morning treat! Thinner skin would’ve been easier to achieve your mega blowouts. I’ve done it to the inside of my left ankle, cheers from Ontario Canada Dave

Hey man just an idea but you should do a video series of your subscribers sending in pictures of their own tattoos that they have done and you can and tell us what we could do different or what we could do to improve the tattoos! Great video!

one day i realized that tattooing was going to be my dream career, and i told my mom about it, and for my birthday she got me a tattoo kit, i’ve been watching your videos left and right, making notes, going back to make sure i didn’t miss any important advice, and now watching you tattoo yourself so that i can make sure i don’t do any blowouts my first time, means so much to me, i know there are many youtube’s and many artists, but you’re the one i’ve been watching for months, learning, and grasping any information i can. so thank you so much for being a kind soul and helping another soul thrive, i think it’s because of you that i may be able to grow and get better overtime, so when the time comes, i’m going to come back and credit you. thank you.
I have perfect examples of blowouts & scarring on the first couple tattoos I did on myself. The scarring is bad too- bumped out throughout a whole tattoo.. I used a 1rl standard needle on a rotary machine. I had no clue what I was doing. This was right before Art-Something made his RUclips debut!
Oh DAMN man sorry to hear about that graffics. But hey I guess sometimes thats how we learn and im happy to hear it was on yourself at least. I hope all is going good for you brother. I know your working hard and its paying off!! SO keep pushing. And thank you again for all the support you Rock brother!! 🤘🤘🤘

I love your channel. Your so sweet and nice to watch... Not cocky know-it-all like other tattoos artist who are trying to teach you but talk down to you the hole time. It's nice to have somebody out there not only willing to walk you through the steps but show you. You're awesome!!
My message is not related to the theme but I wanted to thank you for your videos and work and say how much it means to me. I feel I am learning a lot. Before the lockdowns started I was looking to see if anyone from the business would take me in. I think I have the art skill, but I am missing the tattoo skill. And I got a lot of "I'm sorry we don't take apprentices" For someone who wants to learn how to tattoo I felt really hopeless. But found your videos, got myself a coil machine and some tools and here I am. Practicing on fake skin. Praying that I get this right :))) So thank you. They are really helpful.☺️
I’m in the same situation! Except I had a teacher but he vanished on me after 5 months. I was learning how to draw. I didn’t want to lose hope so I bought a tattoo kit and all the stuff I need for a beginner and I’m practicing on fake skin. I did my first stencil of Spider-Man. The trace looked good but the stencil not so much lol. Don’t know if I used too much stencil stuff or pressed down too hard on the stencil but it was kinda off. I think my first tattoo came out bad but we gotta start somewhere! The needles are confusing to me. I have to learn more about them as well. Good luck in the future!!
Thank you. And like you said. We have to start from somewhere and we have the time to practice too. Being in lockdown and furlough gave me lots of free time. Which I am grateful for😊.

SO much love. I thought that the images were plenty enough, but seeing it happen (bless your self-sacrificing soul!!!!) in real time, is super helpful. You are going to be one masterful piece of art by the time you're finished teaching. Again, I am beyond grateful 🙏 I love the passion you bring to the art.
Bro respect. Trying to show other artist how blowouts happen while giving advice and educating everyone on how skin works by give yourself blowouts is insane but awesome. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to more videos
what i find sad that are people on Facebook groups which are triyng to discredit you , mby you're not the best tattoo artist but definitely you know how to explain , with your videos i started to get in this world of tattooing, already did 2 tattoos on my friend and it went pretty nice. thank you for your videos !
HAHA aint that the TRUTH!! Sounds like you learned from experience... And sometimes thats the only/best way to learn. Thanks for the support Jay and Keep Rocking my friend! 🤘🤘
Dude.. This makes me feel better about what ive been practicing on myself, I'm pretty sure I'm not going deep enough on some color packing but definitely havent blown out yet. Appraciate this vid man 👏 no pain no gain brotha
This one just comes up when I'm twisting my head as hard as I can around just this! Respect man! 🙏 I really cringed when you did the last 3 lines 🙈 I seem to struggle a little with this, and I know it - I basically hate lines, love shading tho. I can say I have seen max 10 blowouts on my work when I have been doing them(mostly dots, from where they move, my muscle jumps over a longer line etc). But lately I have gotten soooo much hate because "I only blowout everything" yet, I didn't notice ANYTHING on those complaining about it. I know my hand - machine speed it right, I adjust my hand speed according to place and skin(usually 9v on Q2). This really helped me understand more how this can happen 🙏
My skin blows out extremely easy so I don’t get mad, I also don’t ever get nice full coverage..... always have a few really weird blotchy almost like blown out in the middle of color packing spots. It’s OK though I still like my tattoos :) Figure they’re like little “dings on my chassis” that show the fun ride I have gone on in my life :)
I just gotta tell you how much I appreciate you and your videos. I’m learning to tattoo on fake skin before I attempt to tattoo myself and I have learned SO SO MUCH from your videos. Thank you for your patience, dedication, and your amazing videos. I drink them up like water every time there’s a new one! Have you ever thought about releasing a book? Maybe one for beginners? I’d be the first in line to buy one if it covered technique, sanitation, equipment, etc. I’ve read a few books but I feel like they don’t spend enough time on technique aimed at beginners. Anyway, now I’m rambling! Thanks again brother, please keep this up!
Oh I'm so sorry for the pain you went through making this video. I'm trying my hand at tattooing and damn, you went above and beyond. I've haven't even started on myself yet and I could tell that the first time you moved the needle was to much.
SO thankful for these informative videos, I been tattooing on and off since I was 18, now 30 and wanting to go professional. it's always great to have someone willing to help with information as we are always learning and open to learning more. Blow outs have been a slight issue over my years of tattooing not always but have had them and want to avoid them by new techniques and insight. thanks for being here for us man.
My man. I've said it before and I'll say it again, your the most unselfish and probably one of the most likeable human beings anywhere 👍. Could you either cover how thin the skin is on the wrist and back of hand? I'm ready to do the back of my hand but I have no body fat, seems a third of the depth you just did would blow out on back of hand
I'm red/green colorblind and I just did a tattoo on a squishy part of my calf yesterday (in my experience, the squishier parts are some of the hardest, even worse than skin on bone), and I feel like I might have a super faint halo around the outline, but I don't know if it's actually just redness or bruising or actual blowouts, bc obviously I can't really see the color red, only tonality (so if it were a shade of red that looks slightly darker than the shade of my skin, it would appear more like a shadow). It was oly yesterday though, so I've got plenty of time for it to heal. I guess the easiest solution would just be to ask a non-color blind person
You a real one tattooing your leg to teach us mane, I got done my first tattoo in my leg last night and everyone says it’s great. I’ll keep watching ya vids as I progress keep it up brother 💪🏽

Greetings to you from Lebanon, you are really a wonderful man, my friend. You continue to do a good job, and we appreciate your sacrifice of your body for us.
Thank my friend I really do appreciate the support!! And at least I only had to do it once now its out there for many to hopefully learn from. Thanks again and keep rocking!! 🤘🤘
Wow I cannot believe you did that to yourself to help educate us! Massive kudos to you, thank you for all the hard work and dedication. My work has improved massively thanks to your videos!! 🙌
Dude, hilarious man. I enjoyed this video immensely. Hist my 5-cents, I also had an experience where the client actually hit a corner of a table a day after her tattoo session and you can see the impact and the way the lines of the furniture turned out. It was crazy, but I learned that it's still sitting on the skin and any impact can make a blowout as well; and of course that artist as well. Great stuff man.
Man I know that hurt! I've blown out a few lines on my thigh practicing. Thanks for the new video, I'm always able to take something away from each one. Keep up the great work 🤘
Dude... Thank you for all the vids and podcasts... I've learned alot from watching and listening to what you're putting out... I've been in to all sorts of art and ink since I was a kid and thanks to my wife, just recently decided to go for it and started teaching myself to tattoo... And thanks to you basically, it's going alot better than I ever thought it would... So thank you again man... God bless... 🙏🤘✊
Wow thats awesome to hear!! And if it helps my wife also pushed me to purse this journey as I was a bit hesitant. I can tell you now I am very happy I took a leap of faith. Congrats on the shop you where able to set up. You have to start somewhere so I wish you the best of luck as you continue down this journey. Keep your head up and Keep Rocking my friend!! And God Bless!!🤘🤘
I’m surprised you can even walk with the size of your balls. I respect your dedication so much.
Respect the dedication dude
Was looking forward to this video! Thank you, and massive respect for doing this X
Glad to hear you where looking forward to it and I hope the video was able to help you out. THank you again Bruyne we appreciate the support!! 🤘🤘🤘
Still learning but so much respect for putting urself out there in the name of “Science” 🤣💪🏽💯
Thank you. This information is great. I just removed a blowout from a client with my PicoSure laser. Most blowouts can be removed in 1 treatment.
A poorly tuned coil machine can do so pretty decent blowouts lol
HAHA aint that the TRUTH!! Sounds like you learned from experience... And sometimes thats the only/best way to learn. Thanks for the support Jay and Keep Rocking my friend! 🤘🤘
Dude.. This makes me feel better about what ive been practicing on myself, I'm pretty sure I'm not going deep enough on some color packing but definitely havent blown out yet. Appraciate this vid man 👏 no pain no gain brotha
This one just comes up when I'm twisting my head as hard as I can around just this! Respect man! 🙏 I really cringed when you did the last 3 lines 🙈
I seem to struggle a little with this, and I know it - I basically hate lines, love shading tho.
I appreciate everything you do for us on that damn leg 😅 start a gofundme on your right leg. I’m here to support lol
Well as long as you like them and your continuing to learn then thats really all that matters. Keep working hard and keep rocking my friend!! 🤘🤘
Holy cow man. Your a legend for sacrificing your skin to teach !❤️
You're a big inspiration for using your own skin man. Mad respect
yeah u deserve likes and subs man, respect
Thank you so much Jeffrey really appreciate that🤘🤘🙏
Your scientific experiment is indubitably a great stride for the advancement of Humanity! but for real. appreciate the sacrifice!
I been doing tatts for over 20 years and had never seen this before
You’ve been tattooing for 20 years and never seen a blowout?
Epic video you rock bro, thank you for your sacrifice in the name of science
The fact that you sacrificed your own thigh to teach us amateurs how to get better at tattooing has earned you a subscribe, my friend!
Mad respect my man. Not to many people would torture them selves that way for an educational vid . 👊
Wow I respect you a lot man. You're sacrificing your skin for us to see the blowout.
You a real one tattooing your leg to teach us mane, I got done my first tattoo in my leg last night and everyone says it’s great. I’ll keep watching ya vids as I progress keep it up brother 💪🏽
OMG, respect. Amazing experiment. Thank you so much. I hope you will cover those lines with a beautiful tattoo. Respect!

Dude I cringed hard every time you tried My tattoo artist is pretty heavy handed I don’t have any blowouts but I know them deep needles don’t feel good at all. Much respect man love your work!
Thanks for another great video!! Learning about for you! Keep up the awesome work 😎
We appreciate you for these blow outs 😭😭
Greetings to you from Lebanon, you are really a wonderful man, my friend. You continue to do a good job, and we appreciate your sacrifice of your body for us.
Thank you!
Your sacrifice won't go to waste! We learned!
✨✨✨
Holy cow! I made myself watch as I'm new, but damn, I don't think could do that to myself on purpose. That's dedication.
Not only would I give you the like because you do a great job at teaching, but also because of what you put yourself through to teach us lol.
Thank my friend I really do appreciate the support!! And at least I only had to do it once now its out there for many to hopefully learn from. Thanks again and keep rocking!! 🤘🤘
Respect. Thank you so much. I can’t use so much English but well, i really apreciate what you did for us.
Wow I cannot believe you did that to yourself to help educate us! Massive kudos to you, thank you for all the hard work and dedication. My work has improved massively thanks to your videos!! 🙌
dude that must have been painful, thank you so much for doing this and giving us the opportunity to see without having to do it on ourselves !
Keep up the great work 🤘
ahhhhh i feel with you man.... respect for your sacrifice
Im happy to know the videos have helped you out along the way!! Keep working hard my friend and thank you for all the support🤘🤘
