Hey brother I have followed you for a year and a half I'd say maybe more. I support this channel as well as your Facebook. I always thought you were a stand up dude! In saying that I mean you seem very honest. I respect that! So my question for this video is about the cartridges I really need an honest opinion on those Solong carts. I struggle with finding cartridges at a reasonable price that I like or that are made well. I really like DaVinci magnums but they're kind of pricey. As far as cartridges like these I've tried Rhien carts and Stigma carts. The stigma carts were total junk the Rhien carts weren't bad but they're not DaVinci quality or Kwadron quality. hi, love your explanation. I have a question you dont mention what printer is good to use? I have the ecotank et2800 is this a good printer to start with? and if so can I use the same ink this printer comes with to print on the stencil ?
I wouldnt recommend getting a "Kit" as its sorta a waste of money as the products are super cheap and you will find yourself buying all the stuff separately to get anything decent. with that said this video is pretty much my recommendation for anyone wanting to get into tattooing.
Love your videos! I'm in the process of creating drawings for a tattoo portfolio to get an apprenticeship. My style is geometric, dotwork, and mandalas. I've been told coil machines are best for this? But coil machines have a lot of maintenance and are considered antiques? lol thoughts? The newer machines will be just as good for my style? Thanks for all your helpful videos! ❤️
Hey I’m trying to make sure I buy the right cartridge for the pen lol I’m confused on which ones sense they got 3 different offers for the mixed 50pc Soloang
I love your videos they have helped me dramatically with my tattoo journey but unfortunately I have to disagree about the wireless and the machine for noobs because with so many options out there and so many things that you need to focus on at any given moment it can be overwhelming when an artist first starts out and sometimes artist are on an extreme budget but the reason i would recommend a coil over let's say a cheap Chinese rotary is sometimes the machine does not retract the needle all the way back into the cartridge but coils do no matter what unless you have the machine set wrong of course so coils are safer and being bound by a cord subconsciously always forces the artist to be aware of the machine in theory it cuts way down the likelihood of an accidental needle poke plus it also is never a bad idea in my opinion to know the history of tattooing and have the ability to fix or change a machine that will last literally forever with very little maintenance but again this is just my opinion now as for ink each artist is different so I would recommend trying different inks out because what might work for one artist may not work for another because ink flows at different rates so the ink just like hand speed and voltage depends on the artist but that is why I always recommend instead of buying an ink kit buy individual smaller bottles when you first start out so you can see what works best for you now as for literally everything else I agree with spot on!
Simper fi brother, thanks for all your content. I am in the process of getting back in to tattooing after more than 10 years and a lot is the same but a lot has changed as well. I am learning and re learning tons from your videos. Thank you and keep them coming.
It took a while but I'm happy with my set up for now, it's not all expensive but it's got me through a a few tattoos...the one issue I have the Q2 is when loading the cartridge, it isn't always smooth going...I had a near poke miss because of it...as long as you're wary of that...it's all good. Love this video, very thorough!
I agree with you on the needle thing and I seem to have the same issue with the Wand shader. ITs not crazy or anything just have to take an extra second or two to make sure everything is good. Thanks Wolfgang really appreciate the support my friend and Keep ROcking!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
@@ArtSomething that's interesting to know you have the similar issue with the wand shader...can you help me on this specific issue...backgrounds - I want to try and achieve that airbrushed effect behind a rose for instance...I use a 27cm bugpin with a light wash but it always comes out blotchy and uneven, the distance of the greywash fade is uneven around the central piece, how do I solve this? If you can do a video on it would appreciate it!
Thank you man love your vids, so thx to Biden man my opportunity on saving up for a machine setup arrived early. I need help on buying a wireless all purpose liner and good shader. If possible. What you recommend??

Thank you so much Dave really appreciate you brother!! And CONGRATS to YOU man!! I'm happy to hear you got the personal shop up and running. Its such a great feeling to see all the hard work you put into this pay off when you sit down in your own shop/dedicated area and do what you love. Keep up the AWESOME work brother!! And i mean with a name like Dave how you can you go wrong lol. Rock on!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
May I ask your opinion. What do you think about the Cheyenne Sol Nova and the Cheyenne P4 power source? Do I need another machine, or will the Sol Nova be enough? I hear some machines are better for lining and such, and people seem divided about whether my Sol Nova can do everything, or just a shader.

First comment here 😁 i miss you idol 😁
Your on it today Dominique!!! THank you so much for the support! 🤘🤘🙏🙏

Are dynamic ink colors as good as the dynamic black?
Can you print stencils with that printer you listed
I have a question! for the CNC Q2 pen what type of wireless battery are you using ? the RCA or the DC...? im looking to buy one
I use the RCA connections. When you buy the machine make sure to RCA and then when you buy the battery make sure its RCA as well.
Simper fi brother, thanks for all your content. I am in the process of getting back in to tattooing after more than 10 years and a lot is the same but a lot has changed as well. I am learning and re learning tons from your videos. Thank you and keep them coming.
So interesting to watch x
Appreciate your videos.🤘
Love this man
Have you used big wasp needles? If so would you recommend them?
I used them a while back and I remember them being pretty decent. I will have to order another few boxes of them and have a go with them again.
@@ArtSomething thank you I was wondering cause they’re the brand I use and they’re decently priced but I don’t hear much about them
It took a while but I'm happy with my set up for now, it's not all expensive but it's got me through a a few tattoos...the one issue I have the Q2 is when loading the cartridge, it isn't always smooth going...I had a near poke miss because of it...as long as you're wary of that...it's all good.
Hi man wich is better stuff or electrum solution stencil?
Hi! So if I get a wireless battery that shows the voltage, then I don't need a power supply?
Thank you man love your vids, so thx to Biden man my opportunity on saving up for a machine setup arrived early. I need help on buying a wireless all purpose liner and good shader. If possible. What you recommend??
Will any cartridge needle fit any cartridge gun
Love your videos I just started tattooing a few months ago and your videos have helped me so much I was wondering do you recommend a newbie to get into an apprenticeship or what do you recommend when becoming a new tattoo artist? Thank you so much

2024👇🏾
May I ask your opinion. What do you think about the Cheyenne Sol Nova and the Cheyenne P4 power source? Do I need another machine, or will the Sol Nova be enough? I hear some machines are better for lining and such, and people seem divided about whether my Sol Nova can do everything, or just a shader.
thank you for making this information accessible and understandable. i so beyond appreciate your time and efforts !
