In this jcs inspired video, we take a look at the interrogation of a terrible liar. After taking the life of a woman and it's caught on camera, Michael Olsen does his best to lie to the police.

The surveillance footage is so chilling. I have never seen someone so directly murder another person and dispose of their body so clearly on camera. And the way he came back out with the sheet over his head like that was going to do anything, despite the fact that you see him before and after the sheet clearly, and he moves the body into a storage unit that he has access to. Incredibly dumb but incredibly chilling.
Thank God he isn't the brightest bulb in the pack. It's idiots like him that make the job of police so much easier. 😅

The fact that woman’s family sued that storage facility is crazy. They were single handedly responsible for giving the family closure on what happened, as well as getting this dirtbag behind bars where he belongs.
The person who raped and murdered this lady lived in a storage unit his father rented that was directly across from hers. No one is supposed to live in any of the units per their policy, but the company neglected to see that one of their units had someone living in it (or never bothered to kicked him out) despite the fact the guy had even received personal mail delivered to the unit. Had they had proper security measures in place to ensure the safety of their tenants and made sure no one was living in any of the units, they may have never crossed paths and she wouldn't have been raped and murdered.
Greed greed greed. Someone in another thread tried saying that they can be considered responsible by law, because Mike was sleeping in the unit. Not even sure that is a law, but how fucking stupid is that?
But why bother being grateful when you could make a little extra cash?
@@hihihi3383 The policy of the company is to not let people live in the units. They didn't enforce their own policy when a homeless man was living in the unit next to the lady's unit. The same homeless man who raped and killed that lady. Do you not get that had this man not lived in the unit that they probably would have never crossed paths?
Even though I probably wouldn't sue in that spot, the grateful part is hilarious: "Hey, thanks for calling police after letting a vagrant live in one of your units so that he was around all the time to rape and kill one of your paying customers."

I'd be grateful for someone that helped bring my family closure. They probably would've checked the lockers eventually, but the man with the cameras brought a swift end to this case. The storage facility ownership did not murder Katie, nor did they encourage Mike to do so.

They had a meth head living in a storage unit and even had his mail delivered to him there. They should have booted him per their policy and not let him stay there. That's clear negligence for the safety of the guy staying in the unit and other people using the units.

Yes, the facility didn't kill her or encourage him to kill her - that is why they were not charged with murder and he was. Had she just been beaten and not raped and murdered, they would still also be civilly liable for not keeping the premises secure by allowing someone to live there. They were not being sued for the lady being raped and murdered; they were sued for failure to enforce their policy that would help keep customers safe.

This unprovoked and senseless crime committed against this woman who was just going about her day is truly horrifying. His reasoning, saying that while engaging in casual conversation, she made a remark about his ex and he snapped and the way he casually and matter-of-factly recounted it, is terrifying. It's so scary to consider that any one of us, on any given day could encounter a person like this monster.
Definitely wasn't his fault. It was his ex, no, it was the victims because she mentioned his ex but at least he won't be sleeping in his dad's storage unit

If you listen carefully, Mike never stops talking about what a helpful fellow he is. On and on thorughout the whole video, he's helping neighbors, helping his dad, putting up with his psycho girlfriend and mother, helping the neighborhood, helping helping helping. He really thinks highly of himself. And then goes and kills a sweet little old lady, still working at the age of 68, who had two cats that no doubt loved her dearly. This is so sad.

The way these detectives came in with a plan and executed it was like a book. Their demeanor while picking him apart was nice. Especially the bald one lol he wasn't playing any games.

Find the video of the storage unit surveillance on other channels. There is so much missing footage - and this channel did us no favors by shortening the video.
Frankly, the surveillance at the storage unit video would have been MUCH more useful and interesting than watching him talk to himself and scratch himself for ten minutes before the detectives came in.
