I bought my wife a motorcycle: Make: Harley, Model: X, Trim package: Y I taught her to shoot. I bought her a gun. He spent so much time explaining how the new ADT system works and which exits he took on the way home he forgot to be concerned about his wife's death or ask what happened.
Right? This was my take from the beginning. This dude is going on and on with these long winded responses and going into all this meaningless detail. Hes a nut-job who thinks he can talk his way out of murdering his wife.
His story of being so concerned about his wife that he needs to call the cops yet is then too scared to go in the house despite having a gun is totally unbelievable
And not even scared of a person, he said he was scared of seeing her dead or restrained and afraid while he had been waiting. That he just couldn't see that. Uh huh. Suuure
They said if someone is explaining everything before actually asking for help, it means it's nothing serious for them. It's because someone who really needs help will only ask for help as soon as the dispatcher answers the call. This man is taking too much time to explain unnecessary things. He already looked guilty the moment he started talking too much.
Did anyone else catch that Paige said she was "excited about getting the house and that everything was NEW" and that is how Marty found out about the key because they were discussing the new house? It doesn't make sense that Desiree would be letting Paige move in if she sent Paige a text saying she was uncomfortable with Paige and Scott's relationship- I wonder how Paige intended to move into that house...
@user-gn7In..... Yes, that jumped out at me and I came to the comments section just to see if anybody would comment on that! I mean, she had to be really thick to just confess, of her own volition, that she was excited to think that she would be moving into Desiree's house, with all the new stuff it contained! It struck me as bizarre. Also, her boast, through so much uncontrollable, fake sobbing, that Marty worshipped the ground she walked on and would do anything for her because he was so obsessed with her!
I KNOW RIGHT!!! I can't beleive this is even real...I've never seen such laid back police work in my life...they literally asked two questions..asked that creepy husband why he didnt go in and her can you wear a wire lol WHAT!!!!!!
I can’t believe the husband got off with murder after watching his behaviour in that interview. He’s repeatedly laughing. He’s been told his wife has been murdered and he starts waffling away about his Dads ex service gun for 20 mins. He must be watching this and laughing.
Some people cope with bad news and stress differently. In addition, if he's ever been in combat, he has learned to keep cool even when people you care about have been killed.
@@melodiefrances3898 It's not "usually" anything. As a combat vet, I can assure you there is no textbook response to the way we deal that kind of stress.
Yeah when Scott says "I didn't go in because I was afraid of what I may find, but if she needed me, was hurt or tied up then it would kill me to know I just sat outside" WHY didn't the detective ask "how did you know she didn't need you?" But nope, just silence from the detective. The detectives investigating this case are about as bad as the Chandler, AZ detectives that investigated the death of Charles Vallow.
It's pretty obvious to the detectives as well. The problem is they have to be able to prove it to a jury and they only get 1 shot at that. No reason to blow it just to have some new evidence come to light and not be able to prosecute.
"Yeah, it was your wife that was found deceased in the house". "OK, well, do you mind if we talk about my father's great shooting competition awards he got back in the day instead?"
WHO ELSE IS WITH ME??? When Paige was describing how "Marty killed Dez"... The way she described every detail made me realize she was the one who did it. That was not someone recounting what someone else had told them. How she said Dez was crawling away gave me chills. I don't see how the cops didn't see right through her. She recounted every single step. Poor, poor Marty and poor Dez.
He was clearly in on it with her otherwise he would have been straight in that door. His lack of emotion, the fact that he bounced straight to this woman after her death, the jovial nature of his discussion after being told his wife was executed. Driving around waiting for police to arrive first. And then all of the evidence that one obviously would have been destroyed or removed if taken, and if the purpose was just to kill the woman, you wouldn't also go and take her belongings and keep them unless you were planning on having a fall guy to plant evidence on. They were hoping they would get away with it cleanly, but when pressure rose and the spotlight turned to them, they finally decided to plant all of the evidence, and report him so that they could get all of the attention off themselves. Plus the way the fall guy spoke was not that of a guilty man. That was genuine surprise and fear. They had planned this together from the beginning to remove his wife from the picture. When she found out Des was pregnant that was their time to do it otherwise he wouldn't be able to leave her.
@@soggybiscotti8425 Marty was the dude that got set up as the scapegoat and went to prison for this murder that was clearly done by Dez's husband and his side girl, Paige. Yes this is infuriating, I think that Marty was framed one way or another, but I don't understand why he was convicted if he didn't do it, I wouldn't have taken the Alford plea, an innocent man in jail is worse than a guilty one out. Paige is involved, she remembers too many details about the doors stuff (the key and the in and out ways) to be innocent ! same for Scott.
Paige’s description of Marty’s motivation to kill Desiree doesn’t make sense AT ALL. Why would Marty do that for them? So Paige & Scott can be together? Huh? Who on earth would do that? But the police bought into it and conveniently found all the evidence at Marty’s office. Paige sounds like a narcissistic manipulator who wanted to be with Scott, told Scott she was pregnant with his baby and plotted the whole plan with Scott. Paige did tell the police the real motivation to murder Desiree, except she took out her name and replaced it with Marty’s name, added a few snotty tears and sent Marty to prison. Horrible.
Exactly! If I was marty I would've pled not guilty and taken my chance with a jury. Any half decent lawyer could build a case implicating scott and paige based off of their interrogation videos alone. They're shockingly cold about someone close to them being murdered, if anyone has a reason to be unemotional its fucking Marty who didn't even know the victim! Paige obviously related to scott's narcissism (him looking down on blue collar workers, keeping himself "smartly dressed" as he says to the cops) and thought he'd be better at providing for her than whoever really knocked her up. Bet she was jealous of scott buying his wife a new motorbike etc. And her being pregnant was the catalyst for scott to agree to the plan. She literally described the whole murder and was the only one who could actually benefit from des being out the way, plus the whole "He (i) wanted her to have an open casket funeral" that was dark AF. They need to send these 'investigators' back to school, half the true crime fanatic community would do a better job.
@QuellyQ IKR? I thought I had misheard because it sounded so ridiculous, yet the cop didn't bat an eyelid and started listing all the info that he had!
The fact that he has this continuous steady story with no emotional breaks, no sadness, no tearing up shows a lot. Also the lack of questions about what happened, if she's OK, who was dead, do they have any leads, etc says that he already knows all the answers to his questions.
not really. i dont know anything about this guy but i do know autistic people(and im speaking from experience as i have autism) show little to no emotion at all i remember when i grandpa died from cancer i looked around at the other people at the funeral trying to cry because i really loved my grandpa but i was worried people would think i didnt care because i showed no emotion whatsoever. its also easy to tell a story if you are being honest but thats why alot of questions are needed because if someone is lying they will eventually slip up.
@@MrBentalton777 Scott and Paige killed her by setting up Marty. Hell even Marty was smarter than the detectives when he felt like either Page did it or had someone set it up. This isnt autism. Autistic or not, you'd still want to know if it was your wife that was the body found in the house and Scott never asked when told. You're gullible. lmao
Paige knew WAY TOO MUCH DETAIL about the murder. She knew every single step taken, how many shots and even how far the shots were made from the target. She definitely set him up
100% dude I had the same thought. I've seen a bunch of these vids and the detailed explanation to the 911 operator always ends up with the caller being the perp. Normal 911 calls are frantic emotional yelling matches most of the time.
Yes exactly. I’m like bro you giving a whole introduction. Just say what happened! I don’t need your whole life story. That’s definitely a sign of someone who is guilty
Here’s my theory: Paige got pregnant, her boyfriend left her and she was afraid of raising the child by herself with little money and no help. So she got Scott to believe the child was his and needed Dez out of the picture so they could be together and she has money and help raising the kid. She needs an untraceable gun and knows Marty has one, so she borrowed it from him and she and Scott come up with the plan to kill Dez. After Scott and Paige were questioned by police, they knew their stories sounded way too suspect and the police would keep after them until they could gather the evidence they need to charge them for the murder. Paige was probably afraid Marty might go to the police first, telling them Paige borrowed his gun, so she framed Marty for the crime first. The story she gave that Marty wanted Paige and Scott to be together because of the baby is absurd, especially because he was supposedly interested in her too. Marty had no motive to kill Dez, but Paige and Scott certainly did.
I have to go with your theory. Seeing her brake down in tears when shown Marty picture & not being able to look it was interesting me besides the evidence that just happened to show up. If correct man that poor guy got screwed.. Thanks for sharing.
I'm rolling with this theory also. It makes the most sense after hearing the strange stories from Scott and Paige. Paige mentioning the dude was obsessed with her made me think she's about ready to screw him over as it was haha. I don't understand why Marty would want to be involved with this in the first place. If he was supposedly in love with her, why make it oh so convenient for Scott and Paige to be together? Paige knows so much detail it makes me think she wore Marty's shoes and did the deed herself. What a wild case!
Wow. When someone is told their wife may be dead and they immediately start elaborately explaining their own movements, and with all this chuckling…. He did it.
If this was my spouse, there is nothing I wouldn’t do to get back home and help them. I am a female and I would not wait for the police. I’d be doing 100 mph to get home and see if they were ok. This story is so crazy! He is armed ffs. He’s so guilty. Edit: Regarding what he said about not wanting to see his wife “hurt or worse”, that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. You would go in the house no matter what. Your mind doesn’t even go to the worst case scenario. You just need to see if they are ok, period.
I don't believe him for a second, but how does nobody realise that not everyone is them? You think you'd act that way in a situation you've presumably never been in. He's not you. So it doesn't mean anything.
My mind always goes to the worst case scenario. I would have called for a wellness check within an hour of the alarms being tripped and her not answering her phone. Definitely would not ride around waiting for the cops.
Her telling the detectives how Marty did it was way too perfect, like who remembers those details and who explains those details when confessing to someone. She knew it step by step as if she was the one who wrote and organised it.
I watched many of these and was shocked at the ending😮 Marty is innocent, and he’s spending 15 years of his life in prison for being set up. These interrogators were trash, and this case needs to be reviewed by some real professionals.
@Gotta DoMor personally I tend to forget the bad times I've had with people in my past, only the good memories, that's gotta be haunting for murderous people
Let me get this straight…This Marty guy randomly on his own decided to go murder his friend’s (Paige) boyfriend’s wife (Dez) because he (Marty) found out his friend (Paige) is pregnant by her married boyfriend (Scott)? So Marty wanted to murder someone basically for no reason. Was he really going to take the chance of going to prison for the rest of his life just because his friend was pregnant with a married man’s baby? And we’re supposed to think that Marty magically knew that the wife (Dez) would cause trouble for his friend (Paige) and that he needed to murder her (Dez) in case she caused problems? Could this all sound anymore like a set up on Marty who had absolutely no dog in this fight? Weirdest lies I’ve heard in a long, long time!🤦♀️
Not only that, but the detectives probably high-fived each other for unraveling such a tightly wound mystery and getting to the bottom of a case with no obvious clues or suspects available…

When the hospital called to say my mother had died, I answered, "Okay. Thanks." Emotion truly is optional in the world of sharp knives.

There was no ineptitude. It wasn't the best interrogation in the world but there wasn't much more they could do. They had zero evidence for an arrest, meaning if he gets combative he can just walk out and there's nothing they can do. Just because you've seen other interrogations where they start putting the pressure on and accusing doesn't mean that's the norm. That's only done when they're already certain they're the killer, and generally when they also already have everything they need to convict. In this case we still have no idea which of the two of them actually did it. Marty, meanwhile, also had a story with a lot of holes in it, leading the detectives to believe he was almost certainly involved or aware of what happened, regardless of the last minute evidence being enough to convict. Either they could have all three walk free knowing that all three were likely involved in a murder, or they could at least get one of them a sentence while hoping more information turns up. Remember, if you bring someone to trial and they are found not guilty, aside from appeals that's it. That person can never be tried for that crime again. The stakes are very high, as is the burden of evidence.

Not even a blip on his radar. All the details Re: his weapons trying to bond on a macho level with the detective…. So transparent .
He had a total "So anyway..." reaction to the news that someone, Anyone, had been found shot dead in his home, never mind that he was so 'worried' about his 'strangely silent' wife that he'd called the police to go to the property.
I wouldn't use emotions or lack of to judge guilt, but the lack of inquiry by him as to the gravity of the situation and his wilful delay in getting to the house or inside while being so "concerned" as to call police about her obviously points to his guilt.
Even if you didn’t like your spouse you’d certainly react to the fact that a female body was found in your house and you couldn’t get ahold of your wife. Some things you absolutely can judge.

It never fails that when people are lying they give far too many details. You can tell they have practiced the story dozens of times and they likely feel like the amount of words they are saying is going to increase their believability. If you look at interrogations from people who were uninvolved, they will normally give their story in about 2 or 3 minutes and then police have to spend the next hour asking for more details. When someone is lying, they start giving the history of every gun they own when no one even asked.
Just wow. If I came home and saw my house broke into after my husband didn’t answer my calls, I would barge in there on the shred of hope that he could still be saved. Burglars don’t like to hang around and get caught so if the house was quiet I would take my chances. This is nuts, I CAN NOT believe the police actually thought Marty did it or that his lawyer convinced him he couldn’t beat this case. Absolutely insane.
im confused lol so are you saying he is definitely guilty or are you defending him? are you saying "wow" cause ur bewildered about him not going in to check on his wife like he should have? or are you saying "wow" cause you think he didnt do it and shouldnt have been convicted?
@@joelsommer5765 why are you so confused she is saying wow to the husband's story. If you knew something is wrong and its silent inside the house would you stay outside even thoe you have a gun in you and inside the house is someone who you love? No but yes if you are the criminal. And you can clearly see that Marty was setup he spoke to the detectives with such an eaze no doubt that he is settup no doubt that he thinks about his friend killing the victim and pain in his voice when he said why did she keep me probably for this scenario. They from the start had everything planned killing her to be together but after they were the suspect they had 1 year to prepare on how to set up Marty :) As in the video is said isnt it odd that the evidence were found after 1 year out on the open like that and why would he even keep the gun and gunpowder after 1 year if he did it he would get rid of it eventually :)
Bro my sisters ex husband was a military nut just like this guy, after they divorced i found out this guy wanted to propose to my sister by staging a fake kidnapping of her daughter (my niece) then a whole ransom story and in the end he gets in a shoot out (blanks i guess) saves the day and proposes to my sister after????? Fucking lunatic, i always got weird vibes off the guy. Like a fake personality, he would always try to buy me and my family gifts i guess for us to like him. Glad they arent together now i could see some crazy stuff like this from him. And the guy works for the government as an border patrol agent or something, little do they know the type of "imagination" this guy has.
what a horrible example of what desperate cops do to get a friggin conviction. Ive never seen anything MORE OBVIOUS in my life than this guy's story, the insincerity, the mistresses crying and her non existant motive for Marty. How awful that he has to give up his life for this low life couple. I was so excited that they were going to find evidence and deliver justice here. This is just so egregious, it boggles the mind.
"I was so worried she wasn't ok that decided to drive around in circles and wait to give her a chance to call me back" *after she hadn't responded since yesterday... Riiiiiiiiiiiiight
I think the initial 'robbery' that caused them to install the ADT system was no robbery at all. It was Scott/Paige staging a robbery so that when they had Dez killed, Scott could have a reason to suspect something 'dangerous' and stay outside the house until the cops arrived. Allowing him to play the concerned husband role.
In what universe does a concerned husband sit outside knowing his unresponsive wife is inside their home, possibly injured or even dead ? My husband noticeably smaller than this dude and would run into a Taliban trap to save me. Pretty sure most would. 😅 This guy.
I think thats pretty much obvious bro, but your reason is way off. Yes he def staged the robbery, but only to throw suspicion that they were burglarized week prior, so that could have been the murderer. Still gives no defense to why he wouldnt go into the house. That makes zero sense for any real loving husband!
@@sockruhtese I guess try and read my comment again? I actually did. I disagree with the him staying outside of the house part! That was just him being an idiot or a bitch or who the F knows. But it had nothing to do with the staged robbery, that was to make it look like there was someone in the area that could kill the wife, other then than him!
There is no way I'd be sitting there calmly recounting and chuckling with a cop if I thought my husband might have been shot in our home. Like, what? Sir! Wtf?!
It was “kinda freaking me out” because she wasn’t answering his call but the actual confirmation of a robbery and shooting, dead woman in his house, not so much.
Marty was so thoroughly framed that he had to take an Alford plea, that’s just horrible, and it will take years to get that expunged. I hope Scott and Paige are still being investigated, this is a travesty of justice
Wow Paige really remembers way too much detail for this to be a story someone told her. It's almost as if she was remembering her very own actions! I just can't get over how these two got away with this.
Right. I wonder if Scott an paige are even still together . I believe those two definitely planned and carried the murder out together. I feel like they used Marty as a scapegoat, but who knows if he was infatuated enough with Paige to carry out this evil act or not. If he's innocent and they are guilty I pray justice is served for Dezaree!
During the interview he is trying to appear "normal". But that is a Red Flag. After your wife has been murdered, you are shattered, shaken, confused.... (does he sound like that?) He is even laughing several times.....
Different strokes for different folks. In crises I am focused and say only what needs to be said. It was part of my working life for 48 years. That said, none of the subjects in this video seem focused at all.
So this military guy that has many guns didn’t want to go inside to possibly save his wife that he’s so worried about ? Doesn’t even bother to fake any emotion … the way he talks is just creepy to me
I already know my anxiety and social anxiety would make me look 100 percent guilty in any interrogation despite being completely innocent. It boogies my mind that these people who are actually guilty can lie with no signs of stress or anxiety.
I've had a few interactions with police where I wasn't the one in trouble and they're just getting info and everytime they ask to talk to me they then tell me to take a deep breath and that I'm not in trouble and they don't think I did anything they just want some info. My family has always teased me that my guilty look is what's gonna get me in trouble, not that I did something but I looked like I did something and was hiding it. People who can lie so easily and be so calm terrify me because how can you know what what's real
Scott's odd anxiousless and obviously inconsistent behavior in relation to the tragedy does not add up. Paige in the other hand could win the Oscar's & Tony's😂
I think the extreme detail when Paige recounts the shooting is suspicious. Like a rehearsed story. She even gives reasons as to why he does this or that.
I was searching the comments to find someone that thought that!! YES... And... Marty was her "BEST Friend for YEARS" I would hate to see how she treats her enemies.🤨
Totally agree... why would Marty go through that much detail with her... she knew exactly what happened which tells me she was there. Though I would love to know what Marty said about having the jewellery box on his side over a year later. The husband 100% got away with murder.
Like the fact she said he made imprints with the shoes?! Why would anyone even do that. But they had gotten away with it all, why come back a yr later & set Marty up? Makes no sense.
@@michellefrost85 it wasn't quite at his side it was found by a coworker about a year later (around when Paige stirred the pot). Convenient, isn't it? I wouldn't be surprised if Paige or Scott had a part in that find.
@@GingerNinja1 killing off your threesomes wife because YOU THINK the baby is Scott's doesn't either... I truly believe that this all started with Paige.... Even the way she told the detective how "Marty was OBSESSED with her"... That bitch is used to manipulating ppl. I don't know what happened, but Marty shouldnt be alone in jail.
I’m no cop but I can tell when someone lying through their teeth. It’s a travesty that the cops have settled for prosecuting on planted evidence instead of turning over all stones to find the truth and justice for that poor woman
So why couldn't you tell that Marty was lying? The evidence wasn't planted, Marty admitted that he brought the gun to work and made up some bs about not remembering who he bought it from.
Even if the cops _"felt"_ that Scott and Paige were lying like the rest of us do they don't have the power to bring charges and prosecute. That's not up to the police or the detective. I think something will come up soon that absolves Marty. And then Marty can sue the bejesus out of the state and live the rest of his life comfortably. That would be nice for him. As far as Scott and Paige, the moment one pisses off the other it's on like Donkey Kong because garbage like those two _always_ takes itself out.
Check out the Happy Face Killer. A grandma and a guy were convicted for murder while a serial killer walked free for 5 years because the grandma lied them both into prison. Crazy stuff.
This is the best reply I have read. It’s so spot on. Gotta solve this 10 year old cold case bill, your career depends it. Yes sir we have all the evidence dumped in our lap and a crime stoppers confession🫡 from a suspect ohh i meant victim …..
@mitchellstephens08 thanks! Police are essential.. but you can't always assume they have your best interests in mind 😊. If your taken in for questioning, guilty or not guilty, the only words in your vocabulary should be "Lawyer please"... protect your butt 😉
It's one thing for them to believe Scott and Paige were in on it, but at the end they have to follow the evidence and unfortunately for Marty the evidence "pointed" to him. Even if he's setup, what are detectives supposed to do with that? They unfortunately had no physical evidence to link either Paige or Scott. Lack of emotion from Scott is not evidence of murder. There's motive, (the baby) but that's all. I wonder about the shoes though, if Paige is the one who did it and somehow wore Marty's shoes for the murder wouldn't forensics be able to tell the difference of weight transfer in the shoes or something seeing as how they left prints?
Right? Like, they already found it suspicious that a year later, suddenly Marty is brought up and has all the evidence they were looking for a year prior, but still convicts him? It seems like they didn’t even look for an alibi on Marty’s end. An innocent man was sent to jail for 15 years, bc the police didn’t want to continue the case
This case is going to bother me until Scott and Paige are prosecuted for this particular crime ... Where are they? Did they change their names to start a new life together? Just sickening BTW Karma never forgets anyones address.
I can't believe they are walking free either. Are the police that easily fooled? Or did they look the other way when they found out Scott's daddy was a well respected retired deputy?
Seems like they don't care much from my understanding the majority just care about getting another conviction another one on the books for them most don't think about it as other people's lives it's really sickening
Ole Paige had borrowed the gun from Dopey, she knew the exact steps taken, where the key was hidden, where the bedroom was, she knew about going in and out to leave rain foot prints, and she was so gracias to allow Des to have an open casket funeral. How did she memorize every single detail that Marty supposedly told her? Because she did it. She set this entire thing up and used poor goofy to hide all the evidence in that weird partial board room. Did you see that bed in there? That’s the bed where she gave goofy her payment. The female sociopath is like no other. She will beguile you with sex and promises. Notice that she didn’t come forward until a year later and it was only when she caught ole Scotty boy dipping his pen in someone else’s ink. She rushed that police office like a mad man to tell on goofy before Scotty could tell on her. The entire trial she probably told Marty to take the Alford Plea and promised that they’d be together when he got out. The two nuts rolling around in his noggin believed her and took the bullet for her. Meanwhile, she will now file for back child support from the real father of her child. ADDITION: I went back and listened again, fast forwarded baloney Scooter, and she definitely did it. The detectives knew, they just didn’t have any evidence. She will get hers though, they always do.
@@imperfectladytherapy I was laughing myself because it was so apparent what happened. Although… she could have convinced goofy to do it, she just had way too many specific details. 🤷🏼♀️

This channel is so much better than Dateline. You get the real stories and real confessions without all the pointless story telling, foreshadowing, suspense, and long commercials.
I feel bad for Marty if he got set up… which looks extremely likely. The detectives took the path of least resistance and charged whomever they thought could get convicted regardless of who they thought actually committed the crime. This type of thing happens a lot. District attorneys will actually withhold exculpatory evidence because a win is more important than justice. We truly live in a corrupt system. And as I stated before; NEVER LOAN SOMEONE YOUR GUN
He literally didn't give the slightest shit that his wife was dead and he intimately knew everyone involved, wanting to replace his wife with Paige, as per their texts. Why do you want to ride his dick so bad
@@michaeltreu4152 I had read about this previously and looked it up so I could write it correctly: 729 people have been exonerated since 1989 because they were wrongly convicted in cases involving prosecutorial misconduct. Ever hear of the Innocence project? See here: “Prosecutorial misconduct can be so difficult to detect because when a prosecutor deliberately hides evidence of innocence from the defense, that evidence is intended to stay hidden, and too often does,” Ms. Morrison explained. “But consequences for prosecutorial misconduct are also rare because the legal system as a whole makes it so difficult to impose meaningful sanctions on prosecutors, even when egregious misconduct is discovered.”
Nothing about his case seems right, I find it hard to believe that Scott who was so terribly worried about his wife when driving back home, yet once told that she was the deceased person in the home he had absolutely no response or reaction. As for the girl, I believe she’s as guilty as guilt gets, I believe she knew all along and was greatly involved, I don’t believe for a second that all of those precise and descriptive details she was able to recall about the murder were because of what “Marty told her” she recited the details way too perfectly. I believe Marty is simply responsible for being an unwise simp that allowed his love and admiration for Paige to cloud his rational judgement. Wether he participated or not he walked right into their trap and now he’s locked up. Whilst they remain free.
I think Marty did it at Paige's direction. I think it could go either way on Scott. I would find it plausible both that he knew and that he didn't know.
She wanted to make sure it was an open casket. Psychopathic manipulative narcissists love to lavish over their evil deeds. Even in death. I hope karma finds her quickly and painfully.
this is horrible! how did the cops fall for Paige’s obvious lies!! “He killed her bc he’s obsessed with me and he wants me to be happy with another man” please!! Justice for Marty :(
They didn't fall for anything. They don't have any conclusive evidence for anyone but Marty. They almost certainly believe that all three of them were involved so they put the charges on the one that would stick. Either of the other 2 going to trial would have almost certainly received a not guilty verdict, at which point they cannot be charged with the crime again.
An obvious fake home robbery scene...criminals do not shoot homeowners 9 times during a robbery...9 shots are out of hatred and rage....and the Oscar goes to the liar crier. It`s funny how she offered information and answers before the detective even asked a certain question, she laid out all the information to perfect her story and point the finger at someone else.
This is unreal! Marty needs help with his release. He was absolutely set up by those 2 narcissistic sociopaths. I feel bad for him, he may not have quite the mental capacity to catch on. If a person ever deserved help from The Innocence Project, I believe Marty is that person. This is BS….
Yeh men you right, its mess up how things get so clear, and everyone knows the truth, but cant do nothing because of the lack o evidence, Marty was framed, and page was and Scott were the murderers for sure..... even the mensages confirm that Dessere wasn't cool about their relationship.... it would be good to see some justice in this case and a good ending, but doesn't seem the case..... fortunately, even them being out of jail, they can't run from people judgments! They will always be seen as the evil an rotten monsters.... their social respect is destroyed

Yeah, maybe if he wasn't a military man that could've worked, but it was stupid of him to even try that one.
And not even scared of a person, he said he was scared of seeing her dead or restrained and afraid while he had been waiting. That he just couldn't see that. Uh huh. Suuure
He's definitely involved in his wife's killing
They said if someone is explaining everything before actually asking for help, it means it's nothing serious for them. It's because someone who really needs help will only ask for help as soon as the dispatcher answers the call. This man is taking too much time to explain unnecessary things. He already looked guilty the moment he started talking too much.
Did anyone else catch that Paige said she was "excited about getting the house and that everything was NEW" and that is how Marty found out about the key because they were discussing the new house? @user-gn7In..... Yes, that jumped out at me and I came to the comments section just to see if anybody would comment on that!

Barring and disregarding this individual we should understand that soldiers are still people. Save for a few, killing people makes people uncomfortable.
😱 I can’t believe Scott and Paige got away with murder and that poor fool Marty is in jail!
Right, they definitely r guilty
That is the saddest thing. I could tell she was lying right off the bat.
@@RLFinTX How come the PO-lice didn't pick up on all of the theatrics by Paige? Covering her face and phony crying...
Because Scott's daddy is a cop

The fact that he has this continuous steady story with no emotional breaks, no sadness, no tearing up shows a lot. Also the lack of questions about what happened, if she's OK, who was dead, do they have any leads, etc says that he already knows all the answers to his questions.

When a caller starts a 911 call with an alibi, he’s in on it.
15 years for murder is light. Marty was the fall guy for Paige and Scott but the worst part was that he also was the way they closed the case.
What about Marty's footprints in Dez and Scott's home??
I'm rolling with this theory also. It makes the most sense after hearing the strange stories from Scott and Paige. Paige mentioning the dude was obsessed with her made me think she's about ready to screw him over as it was haha. I don't understand why Marty would want to be involved with this in the first place. If he was supposedly in love with her, why make it oh so convenient for Scott and Paige to be together? Paige knows so much detail it makes me think she wore Marty's shoes and did the deed herself. What a wild case!
That's exactly what happened, that seemed so obvious

I don't believe him for a second, but how does nobody realise that not everyone is them? You think you'd act that way in a situation you've presumably never been in. He's not you. So it doesn't mean anything.

When I'm hit between the eyes with bad news I say "okay" and am quiet for a moment while I get my new bearings, then figure out what has to be done. Emotion at such a time is a serious problem. When the hospital called to say my mother had died, I answered, "Okay. Thanks."
Emotion truly is optional in the world of sharp knives.

If you look at interrogations from people who were uninvolved, they will normally give their story in about 2 or 3 minutes and then police have to spend the next hour asking for more details. When someone is lying, they start giving the history of every gun they own when no one even asked.

*after she hadn't responded since yesterday...
😅 This guy.
I believe that too.
He was laying down some prior evidence. That he could use to follow up with her murder.
I think thats pretty much obvious bro, but your reason is way off. Yes he def staged the robbery, but only to throw suspicion that they were burglarized week prior, so that could have been the murderer. Still gives no defense to why he wouldnt go into the house. That makes zero sense for any real loving husband!
@@joeymims5852 You didn't refute anything I said. Bro.
Like, what? Sir! Wtf?!
"So once again, Scott. Your wife is dead"
Scott: "Did I tell you about my dad's shooting trophies already?"

Please refer to him as shit head

I believe Scott and her both planned and managed to kill Dez.
"Expunged" isn't the half of it--he was sentenced to fifteen years in prison!

The fact the husband was armed wouldn’t enter his own home to check for his wife says it all. He was involved.

Right. I wonder if Scott an paige are even still together . I believe those two definitely planned and carried the murder out together. Ya I could only imagine the fear and anger I would be exhibiting.
During the interview he is trying to appear "normal". But that is a Red Flag. After your wife has been murdered, you are shattered, shaken, confused.... (does he sound like that?) He is even laughing several times.....

I feel ya , I think the same would happen to me
😅😂 me , too !
I always feel guilty when there's any chance somebody might think I'm guilty .
I'm sure you would be deeply upset by the death of your spouse

I’m no cop but I can tell when someone lying through their teeth. It’s a travesty that the cops have settled for prosecuting on planted evidence instead of turning over all stones to find the truth and justice for that poor woman
Wow. You could tell a bad liar, was lying. On a channel that focuses on the worst liars on earth. Congratulations detective.
This seems like what happens when closing a case is more important than solving a case.
Right? Feels like police didn't do due diligence on this one and they let sn innocent man go to jail

In another hundred years, this will be an episode on “They Got Away with Murder.”

I feel bad for Marty if he got set up… which looks extremely likely. The detectives took the path of least resistance and charged whomever they thought could get convicted regardless of who they thought actually committed the crime. This type of thing happens a lot.

They didn't, they most certainly know they killed her. But they need EVIDENCE
