Damn I think this one hurts a little more than the other ones. We've all had that piece of s*** family member in our life that just sucks everyone dry of money and life. This guy actually seems sincere about murdering this dude. Like most of my African-American friends he had a temper flare up and a lack of control, for just a moment. Changed the lives of so many people in an instant. To see him confessing to his girlfriend at the end was pretty hard. Knowing you did something you can't take back suck so bad. We've all got that memory we think back on and just shudder. At least it didn't cost us our lives When he says he didn't take his kids or homeboys kids into consideration, my soul hurt.

Its crazy too because he already did 7 years in prison, 7 years in prison and you still decide to get into the pettiest conflict possible and end someone's life, like CMON MAN!
He recognized that he hurt his kids, his cousin's family, his girlfriend, and himself. He realized it was stupid, foolish, and unchangeable. He said that his cousin didn't deserve it, but that he deserves everything coming to him. I know I am perfectly capable of being fooled, but that looked like remorse to me. Remorse does nothing to undo the horrific crime, but it is the necessary first step to rehabilitation and to any sort of spiritual healing that he might get. I hope Clarence maintains that remorse. And may God bless Shad's family.
Yeah. Like he realized he actually fucked up and he couldn’t blame anyone else. Like, in that moment he realized it was himself that fucked up his life. This looks like the first time he’s ever accepted responsibility for his own actions and it’s too late. Some people don’t learn until after they make the mistake. He’s going to spend the rest of his life thinking about it.

This is one of the first criminals that I heard a sincere regret in his voice when he was talking to his girlfriend. Not because he got caught either. Obviously that's a huge part but he seemed to grasp the true consequences of his actions and the effects on the victims and his families. Sad that it took all this for his perspective to be changed.
I'm sure that's sincere regret, but regret for getting caught, not remorse for killing his cousin. Remorse is not the same as regret. Remorse is an active conscience that detests one's bad acts. Regret is feeling bad for one's self and one's consequences to be suffered and is all about self, not about the suffering we cause others.
I feel the same way, I can really feel that he's remorseful, not just because he got caught but for the consequences of his actions towards the victims
Wow. I was honestly not expecting him to say all of the things he said when he and his girlfriend were alone in the room. That was such an intense, intimate bit of reflection from him. Whether you believe it is genuine remorse or not, we don't usually hear things like that in these interrogations.
@@thevalorousdong7675 Honestly listening to him its hard to tell if he just feels bad for himself or is genuinely remorseful. Its impossible to know for sure i guess
It does matter if it's genuine and no it's not the most intense 😂 you clearly haven't seen much of these videos. He just killed someone of course he's gonna get emotional since he's going back to prison. Saying "I fked up" 100 times isn't special

Yeah in it’s totality, this man not only had the whole “all stages of grief” thing on video. But even helped them find the murder weapon. And mentioned writing to the family of the victim and acknowledging sorry won’t ever be enough and he deserves what he got. Insane footage, he actually did not deserve life without parole. So frustrating I hope he’s teaching those sociopaths and narcissists in prison how to be a better man
That’s actually a great idea. Instead they are showing kids videos of men with psychological issues believing they are women and showing them drag shows..
If someone owes you money let them keep it and don't bother with them ever again, chalk it up as a loss and in the future use better judgement, or this can be your fate, don't let pride, ego and emotions ruin your life and the peoples lives who love and count on you.
First time ever I’ve felt a little bad for the murderer. The realization of what he’d done to himself, his kids, girlfriend, and his cousins’ kid and family was sincere and heartbreaking
I watched a lot these and he's by far for the most sincere perp I've seen, well, sincere for a murderer. It's not just the realization he took another man's life and ruined his own, but realized that he has just destroyed several familial relationships irrecoverably. A lot of murderers are shortsighted and don't even think about that greater consequence killing someone entails.
Yeah, he said all the right things in front of the camera and appeared genuinely remorseful ... that he was caught. He was sincere about getting away with it and would not have shown any remorse at all if he had. He killed his cousin in cold blood for $300. I feel nothing but happy seeing him realise what he's done for the cameras. He deserves no sympathy at all.
Videos like these give me horrible anxiety and thoroughly remind me not to give in to those moments of rage when I'm angry at someone. Watching the retrospective terror and realisation that the perpetrator blew their chance at life makes me sick to my stomach because I know if I'm not careful I'll be in the exact same situation.
This is the sole reason why I will never become a gun owner. I have too much rage in the heat of the moment and can imagine myself easily sitting in his shoes. I know I don't possess the self control needed to be a responsible gun owner.
If he killed one person he maybe able to see the free world. Just not anytime soon. I heard people who have gotten released after 25-30 years for murder.

Man, when I feel like my life is bad, I love watching these videos to remind me how blessed I am to be free. I'm so grateful I've stayed out of trouble and I pray it stays that way.
Of all these interrogation videos ive watched, this was the most painful. This guy wasnt some deranged psychopath filled with glee that he murdered someone, like in so many cases. This was just a regular dude in the hood who let his knucklehead cousin get the best of him. He experienced that fit of anger everyone get a few times in their life. Except, he had a gun and shot him. His realization that his life was over was so raw and real. His life, his girls life, the kids and families lives, all ruined. So so sad.
I can’t tell if he’s sorry for himself but I feel like this is the most remorseful suspect I’ve seen yet. The fact that he included his victims children seems like it’s genuine.
Yeah, he realized that he's DONE, and he's not acting because they are being observed, as he most likely lacks the level of legal education that is required to know how his acting remorseful will impact his trial. Usually such behavior has NO impact on these types of cases when they go to trial. Neither is the judge going to take this behavior into consideration at the time of sentencing. Therefore he seems to be genuine.
This should be shown in schools as part of a "Practical Life" curriculum. To teach the lesson of "there are consequences for your actions". How one decision can ruin your entire life, AND the lives of *many* other people who are completely unconnected to you in any way. This was absolutely gut wrenching to watch. The most interesting part of these interrogations is when the suspect finally accepts their fate. You can see it slowly building up and then they are left to put the pieces together knowing that their life is forever done.
The weirdest thing about all these investigations is that they talk to police. I think they do it because they think maybe the police will believe them... even if you not involved in anyway and dnt live in the city get a lawyer always. Doesnt make you look guilty makes you look smart

Do you even realize how dumb that sounds? Grown men fighting like kids on a playground. This guy lost the game of life, and he no longer gets to participate in society. Do you really feel bad for a guy that killed somebody over $300? $300 dollars is nothing. I could understand if it was $300 million, but $300. This guy is a complete goof. Anybody that would kill over $300 deserves to never walk free. There is no fixing this guy. So let him live out his days in those hot Florida prison cells.

The problem is how casual murder has been made in the black community, people get angry and threaten to kill each other all the time over the smallest of things like a seat on the bus and don’t think about the implications or consequences of such thoughts. I see this so much in my city and it’s absolutely destroying the communities.
It’s been researched before and was pretty common knowledge before all the research is hidden nowadays. It’s a genetic thing with most POCs. It’s about the lack of not being able to think a head and plan ahead. Low impulse control too. It’s from a smaller prefrontal cortex.
It can’t be undone, and it really sucks that it happened. Everyone lost in this situation and it’s tough to see. It’s almost easier watching someone with no remorse try and defend themselves because this was hard to sit through
You must've missed the part where he lied about it..... where he tried to despose of the murder weapon..... where he only confessed to it when faced with damning evidence and where he was joking and laughing with his girlfriend about going to prison for it....... Yeah. Proper remorseful stuff.
Yes, two things can be true at the same time... You can do something heinous and try to get away with it, but later when you realize how wrong and stupid you were, you can have genuine remorse... And the joking with his girlfriend thing... That's what happens with grief. You can have moments of ironic laughter. That doesn't prove he wasn't genuine.
@@AmyraBatyah but his remorse was obviously for getting ccaught and how his life was over since he kept focusing on that fact. His remorse and realizing his wrath has destroyed his life should be a lesson to us all. We have to control our emotions and take moment to realize there's consequences and repercussions to our actions. It only takes a second to get in trouble and a life time to get out of it.

It speaks volumes that he acknowledged that he understands that he didn’t realise what he was doing was affecting other people, over something so small as what, 300 dollars? Not a good guy that lost control and NOT "this one act". He was not allowed to carry a gun, but he did anyway and even took it to a fight and he knew he would use it. Even more disturbing... he does not care at all he took a life, he even said in the video that the guy deserved it. His only remorse is the fact he cant see his children and girlfriend. This guy at least showed decency by allowing his girlfriend to move on and telling her that that would be OK. That was an expression of caring/loving, but also of eccepting that the inevitable will come. By doing so he actually made life easier for her. I respect that.

It is not hard to watch at all. He was a career criminal, and got what he deserved. You cannot just go around hurting people. He was literally on parole when he committed this crime. No remorse! Guy is a loser, and it is that simple. The guy was literally 31 years old talking about how he was supposed to meet up with his 36 year old cousin for a fist fight.

This was crazy sad all around. Dude didn’t seem like a bad guy, just lost control of self & let hood logic dictate his next move. This one act destroyed 3 lives. I really hope videos like this drive home the importance of taking a beat, walking away & letting ish go
He certainly was not a "GOOD GUY" he is capable of Murder over something that is so easily replaced unlike a life. He was also in Jail before. Sounds like his brother is just as messed up as he did time too. Everyone saying they feel bad for him how about feeling bad for the dead man's family!!!
He is just a cold blooded killer.
This is the kind of guy that shoots you at the parking lot for taking "his space" when he has a bad day.
@@tonydonders6777 but your the type of person that gets called ugly and shoots up a school stop being racist
@@dabronxmom1120 He said "he didn't seem like a bad guy". People make mistakes. People can make mistakes and you can still say they aren't bad people because you want that part inside them that can come out and shine in the light. No need to shake others because no one is pure. And if you must, no need to stop others from not shaming others. That's even weirder
Yeah really sad and food stamps are free nobody pays for them they're given to you 🤪. Grown man it's already done prison time to kill somebody over $300 of food stamps. He went over there with the intent to kick his butt and he had a gun and he intended to use it. Always excuses never taken responsibility always somebody else's fault.
What a lesson for us all. Don’t let your emotions and pride have rule over you Always try and THINK things through.😮
Emotions and pride?!
How about not strutting around with a gun. Especially being a felon.
Brought this all upon himself. Regardless of emotions and pride.
Very true but it was still his emotions and pride that got the best of him regardless...
Just a thank you about the video itself. I appreciate that when you are using captions, you use bright lettering with a black outline. It makes it so much easier to read than when other RUclipsrs put up bright lettering with no outline, and the background is also bright. Little to no contrast, and it's too hard for my sixty-three year old eyes to read. So, thanks for the nice technical touch. 🤓
“All I wanted was a fade a little hand-to-hand combat”😂😂😂😂
dam this is a tough watch and i think it’s because i can relate to this dude in a way. obviously i’ve never killed someone but i’ve done stupid stuff and reacted this exact way. realizing what you did , how bad you messed up , and that it can’t be changed. him saying , “i fu**** up” over and over again is what really got me cause i’ve said that exact thing exactly like that
So I guess nobody ever taught you to think before acting. It’s a thing kids will do, not adults, not normal adults.
@@Vacherie.de.vacherie so are you really gonna sit there and tell me that you’ve never made a mistake in adult hood ? 😂
@@Vacherie.de.vacherie
If only it was that simple.
@@itspeekaboo it actually is. You know right from wrong, it is that easy.
@@parkerfigueroa6682 mistake or crime? Dying my hair blond was a mistake, but no, I did not commit any crime, I don’t have a criminal file, never been arrested, nothing. Why? Cause I choose to do right, not wrong.
Anger is the most powerful thing in a human mind. You don't see reality in front of you, you only see evil and demons that speaks to you.
i wish i knew how to control my anger. i am weak when it comes to self control
Actually Anger isn't the most powerful. It is forgiveness.
People get angry all the time, the ones who show self control compared to the ones who don't is what separates a human being to those who are animals.
@@omars-qz6rnJesus helps with that. Think of him and his patience the next time you feel enraged. Try to emulate him. Forgiveness is powerful.
Most people can't control themselves, but I can!
Actually love is the most powerful. Anger is the weakest.
Jesus is Lord.
This guy at least showed decency by allowing his girlfriend to move on and telling her that that would be OK. That was an expression of caring/loving, but also of eccepting that the inevitable will come. By doing so he actually made life easier for her. I respect that.
eh he was probably cheating anyways
Allowing
She didn’t need that permission…he was gone
Yeah, he's a great guy. A regular Ghandi.
If she really loved and cared for him she wouldn’t of listened and would of stayed by his side threw the whole thing
i watch these videos just to keep me grounded!
Showing this to my teens!!
The reason I like these videos is because it makes me so much more appreciative of the problems I have… All of my problems are nowhere close to finding out that you’ll be in prison for the rest of your life!
Imagine killing another person for something like that 😂
Lesson for me is anger is a crazy emotion
Lessons for me is that, and the behaviors of liars.
So true
Just reminds me of why you never talk to cops without a lawyer.
One of the saddest videos.... taking his cousins life over sneak change. He's the first guilty person I've seen in her who is showing genuine regret and remorse. It touched me when he spoke about not thinking about his cousins children being left fatherless. What a total waste of human lives on both sides. 😪
That sweet woman should (and will) leave him. He knows it too
