Fwiw- most murderers get caught because they do things like this. However people model all kinds of body types because the people who spend money in most families aren’t 22, beautiful and with s perfect figure.
that was my thought exactly. Nobody even asked where she was, they were all focused on the dead victim. And she's like But I totally wasn't even here. I just got in the door I swear!
It's crazy how you can literally hear her flipping towards her general chit chat voice and then remembering that she is being interviewed by police about the husband she just murdered 😂
911? Yes Hello, I didn't murder anyone by the way. Er yes mam what is your emergency? Er there isnt one theres been a burglary though and I didn't murder anyone, especially my Husband. Oh by the way my husband is dead it was a burglary. By the way I didnt kill anyone I found a body though.
This case is weird. They found the murder weapon _in her car_ the day after the murder, but decided they didn't have enough evidence to prosecute her. Then her house conveniently burned down, but there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute her. But then some random hobo claims she threatened to kill him "just like larry" and _that's_ the missing link??? Either you left out a few crucial details or the cops in Florida are really just f'ing around some days.
I'm gonna play "devils advocate" for a moment here... Gun was found, but no fingerprints. There were no gun powder stains on her hands. House burnt down but there was no evidence to how it started. Just because we "know" someone is guilty, doesn't make evidence to convince a jury. Could have been possible that one of her "AA" pals relapsed and "went crazy" or something. I am NOT saying this happened; but, this is the problem with "circumstantial evidence". If they had prematurely brought this case to trial, she very well could have walked; without the possibility of being charged for the same crime again (double jeopardy). Not all evidence is equal. The suspicious "circumstantial" evidence would not have been enough; without the guys testimony about "kill you like Larry". If flimsy evidence was enough to convict someone, there would be a heck of a lot more innocent people in prison. There is an old adage that goes: I'd rather see 99 guilty men go free than to put 1 innocent man in prison.
@tobiasisback4605 From the line of questioning of the male detective there, I could tell he was definitely thinking that she did it. No idea why that wasn't acted on though. Yeah, definitely weird.
I'm three minutes in and I don't think I'm going to make it to ten. Also, every single sound from her mouth makes me want to hit her with a lead pipe until the sound stops. Or myself. So long as the nails on the chalkboard of my mind stop.
TBF photos were shown in this video of her modelling. she didn't look a lot better but she did look better. Alcohol and drugs ravages people..I'm an ex addict and knew many girls who used to be beautiful that were so ugly now.
Her biggest mistake... "I didn't touch him bc if I was covered in blood, it might've incriminated me". This is what she was thinking when her husband was lying there dead.
But her interview worked!!!! She was NOT arrested, only the fire for insurance and someone snitching on her caused the arrest---many years later. Bottom line, these detectives were fooled and Rebecca met her objective.
If my loved one is lying in a septic tank and drowned I would still attempt mouth to mouth. Not trying to be gross but there is just nothing including blood that would stop me. Plus they can tell how blood is transferred so that would never be an issue. She is a nutcase though so I can see her not helping him regardless.
I have experienced my mother calling police after my father passed awat. There is no way you give such details and smiling after such a tragic incident. Absolutely 💯 GUILTY!
I know exactly what you mean man... I found my dad on Christmas morning... This is not how I acted or talked.. I know everybody treats stress and grief differently, but the way she's acting and talking ect. doesn't seem like stress or grief...
Speaking of Netflix, this was actually an episode of 'American Monster' an outstanding true crime series on Prime Video, in its 12th season. Many of the RedTree videos are from that show.
How she wasn’t arrested based on the first interrogation is strange enough , but how she still lasted 5 more years as a free person is simply beyond me…
@@vw1649 ppl don't realize it's not up to the officer's wether to bring up murder charges on someone that's up to the prosecutor and imo the prosecutor didn't feel like there was sufficient evidence at the time the murder was committed to arrest her.
To leave your spouse to check to see what's missing BEFORE even calling 911 is just cold blooded as hell. Smiling & flirting with the officers on the scene was disgusting.
I’m just astounded that she went to search the house where the murderer could possibly be.... I’m sorry if this sounds heartless but I would’ve immediately ran away to a neighbors house and called the police over there. I wouldn’t wanna worry the murderer and get killed too
And not trying to revive him. Like Tammy said during the Chris Watts interrogation, she would be trying to do CPR and revive her loved one even if their head was cut off.
Lol she said it like asking a question like it's possible ROTFLMAO. No disrespect to her late husband, poor fella didn't deserve this. Was shocked to hear she spent 5 years free after the murder 😳
No one who legitimately walks in on a loved one on the floor in a puddle of blood is going to worry about incriminating themselves by having blood on them nor would they be indifferent to figuring out who did it.
@MatrixAgentFoxMulder I've faced this delimma as a medical worker. If you don't know 100% gloves are always first. They don't tell staff in direct care that a pt is HIV or Hep C +. They expect you to assume they are. In this situation, if I knew a loved one had a blood borne disease I'd have gloves somewhere easily accessible. I usually do even though no one in my house has a blood borne issue. Even in the car. That delimma is just a reality of medical care and first aid. So always be prepared.
@John I'm an ER nurse, and that's the way we think. However, if it was a loved one or a family member, I wouldn't give a shit about looking for a pair of gloves.
So she finds her husband dead, checks the entire house to make sure nobody's still there even though she has no way to defend herself, then decides she has to leave the house in case somebody's still there. Lol.
Yea..that's pretty suspicious. The natural human reaction to a dead body is terror and aversion. Depending on the person, someone finding the dead body of a loved one might overcome the terror in order to try to resuscitate the victim. When told that my Dad had died, my reaction was vehement disbelief. The shock took hours to dissipate, during which time I was speaking normally (according to others), but from a distance (to me). I can only imagine how I would have been reaction if I had thought that others suspected me of killing him.
@@leanie5234 you have my sympathy, if there’s any “good” to come of the awful situation regarding your dad it’s the fact you clearly have a lot of love for him and that in itself is a beautiful thing. Salute to him for clearly raising you well and for fulfilling his duties as a stand-up dad. If only mine were like yours.
So an ex with a criminal past, claiming she said something was enough to finally charge her, but not all the real evidence they had before? She should’ve been arrested five years earlier.
I had a dream in which I killed someone. I strongly remember the thought of having to live like 50 years with the feeling there being a possibility of getting caught. I was so glad I woke-up, I can't handle that type of stress.
My father was watching storage wars and he said those people despised books, they were trash for them. I think for thieves is the same. What thief that gets inside your house will pull-out the books. You have to move quickly, take the valuables and get out. Even if there are money hidden in the books, they won't stay to search for it.

So..little story about this lady.. about a year ago I did some time with Rebecca Fenton in FWRC prison. She happened to be my "Mentor" in the short sentence program they have for people doing little time. And for a while she came off so loving and sweet and was considered the "Dorm Mom" but as time went by I started noticing things about her. She was a great liar!! I recall asking her for help moving my bed location for certain reasons and in there it's hard to get your bed moved. She told me to ask around her birthday (in April) when I re approached her on it, she claimed she never told me that and started picking at things I came to her for. That had nothing to do with it. I decided to walk away at that point because it was useless talking to her, and she told me " you don't wanna do that" and threatened to get guards on me. She then pulled me into the foyer after I did finally walk off. To try and talk it out while I was still upset. Went nowhere. I walked out and she hollered something at me in front of everyone. And put our business in the open. She's rude and soooo dramatic. I've heard this fake cry voice from her before. She's also a master manipulator. She lies so much it's ridiculous and I'm not surprised she passed a lie detector test. She has a split personality. One day she would be a certain person, and the next it's like she was different. One thing I'll say is...she's a good talker..at least in there she was..she was always able to convince the guards when she wanted something done...but here in this video since I now know this lady, i can tell you she is 100% guilty. She even stated to me once that she was gonna be down for a long long time because of what she did..mind you I didn't know her sentence or charges at the time. When I got released I started to hear all the stuff I was told about while locked up to be true. This lady is a sociopath at its finest. And as of last year when I saw her (2023) she wasn't in the greatest health. Maybe karma 🤷♀️ I don't wish bad on her but she chose her path.
As a dude, women's prisons freak me TF out. I would way rather be at a male prison than a female one. My ex's uncle worked for like 15 years as a mens prison security guard, and wanted to take it easy and semi retire so he moved cities to a female prison and was out within 6 months. He said guys will beef, politic or fight it out, and it's done. While at the female prison, if you cut someone off in line, be prepared for multi year psychological, emotional, and physical torture for the rest of your stay or until the person finds a new victim. They were pulling hair and pouring boiling water on each other. Shit was nuts.
@@IrasBoys it's not something I'm worried about. Trust me first off she has life. And even at that I wasn't on bad terms with her. But this is the truth and I think people should know. Yea she's a nut. And I'm sure she regrets it but she surely hasn't changed. That's all I'm saying. She basically admitted to me she did the crime. So there's no confusion. She is guilty. It is what it is.
Love this male detective! He was on to her immediately. But he’s so stoic and slick in his inquisition. Like he’s from a movie. Just shooting holes in her story every question 🎯
Well described "like he's from a movie". The insane amounts of contradictions and confirmations of guilt she made is something else. But it's the male detective that does "confronting" in such a calm way, it totally threw her off her game. He also uses silence really well. He'd just let her stew in it. Knowing she'd make contradictory statements.

I don't think Alcoholics Anonymous is supposed to be like witness protection. People talk about AA and doing 12 steps all the time without "breaking their anonymity".
Someone whose husband has just been murdered is devastated and probably has no ability to speak or keep it together. When someone is so talkative and isn’t overwhelmed with grief, you know something ain’t right. Her need to elaborate on things actually just dug a hole.
I’m with everyone here. She gave out way to much information on the 911 call. Strange. And to leave your loved one before the ambulance arrives is just ridiculous.
Not that crazy if you think someone might still be in the house. Her version is insane though that she cleared the house. Also if someone is dead as dead can be, i don’t give a fuck I ain’t doing CPR.
Im not sure why clearing the house came to mind after walking in on a loved one who is covered in blood. If it was my woman or child, the devil himself wouldn’t keep me from them. Clear the house. My god like she is special forces or something. As well. Look at how she was acting with the police officers. Laughing and carrying on like she was at the bar with friends. Just plain weird.
@@michaelw234 - According to her statement, she wasn't sure he was dead. Also, if you're scared, you would leave the house, not go running around the house in hopes of catching the person. What would she have done if she caught this supposed person? Be dead?
@@shadowwalker1650 I agree. The police weren't even treating her like a suspect at the time. Innocent people are more interested in finding out who killed "the love of their life" (as she called him) than their own behind. She loved him so much she expects people to believe that she walked around the house before calling an ambulance for him.
it was the inflection like "That's my alibi." Her timing was so off like lady dude isn't even cold yet and you are doing the most. She looks like the evil chicken, chicken pie movie. I forgot the name of it but its by the people who did Wallace and Gromitt. Isn't that exactly what she looks like?😂
No kidding....the incompetence of the first set of detectives is insane considering they didn't pick up on the fact that she said her phone was in her car and then said she was on the phone when she was exercising.
My sleeze detector was definitely going off there. I'm betting she's a 'model' in the sense that you have to be at least certain age to look at that material and have certain niche interests to even want to.
Hel if thats the case I'm 1 too.🤣 NOT!!! Hey for the record I'm 1 to see everyone as beautiful beings. But for her to say she does some modeling, is a bit much. And her constantly speaking more about her sponsoring someone WHO CARES. I would've been doing mouth to mouth whatever it takes. The hel with blood on my clothing
It's weird to describe participating in a 12-step program as "charity work". I've spent a decade in these groups, I worked at a rehab as a counselor, and I never heard anyone describe it as "charity work." It's like, if you spent a lot of time involved in your church, and you called it "charity work." It _sort_ _of_ fits... but not really. Ah, dang it, I broke my anonymity!
I really like how she's about to explain how her front door automatically locks after a few minutes... But then realizes that would make her story impossible so she just stops talking and the detective lets her trail off and then asks another question.
Guilty as soon as I saw her smile at the crime scene!!! And i dont want to hear people act differently to bad news situation etc!!! NOBODY CRACKS A SMILE WHILE STILL AT THE CRIME SCENE!!! With husband just murdered and not even cold yet!!! NO SMILE!!! NO MATTER WHAT!!! NOT AT THAT TIME!!! And it wasnt a forced smile she was actually enjoying that knock knock joke the cop told her!!! COME ON!!!
Couldn’t stop laughing 3mins in. Breaking her alcohol anonymity, asking if the dead husband can be brought back to life and then thinking the cop asked her if she has an angel not an agent 😂😂😂
I love how she just blabs on and on without anyone asking a question. That's a huge guilt indicator. She sounds like she had this all planned and rehearsed.
Something tells me this woman blabs on and on in her everyday life, not just when she’s guilty. Oh btw, did she mention she was in Alcoholics Anonymous? Oh and she also does some modeling work.
Guilty. I knew from the 911 call she wasn't even focusing on the victim she was more focused on explaining her alibi. That is what I picked up on immediately. Great video
exactly, burglary was more important that her husband death the way she oresented it to 911, something like in another words "maybe my husband is dead but there must a been a burglar at my place which is very concerning" totaly skipping the husband like secondary to the importance of the so called theft. she was guilty from the first call, but they had to prove it which is a different story.
yeah if I saw my HUSBAND who I LOVE laying on the floor. I would be more desperately trying to get an ambulance to my house. Not saying, I think my house was "burglarized." my HUSBAND looks like he's dying or dead. nothing in my house would matter. they could steal everything of value from my house right now, and I would only be thinking about my husband. and wanting to keep him alive. it's just not a normal phone call
"There isn't any way to bring him back to life?" This sounds remarkably like someone who knows that denial is a stage of grief but has no idea how they're supposed to act it out.
Really! What an absolutely stupid thing to say, right after, “I’m a model.” For what? AA? My gosh, she looks like a drug addict. I bet she had a boyfriend somewhere. How about you?
I'm astonished. I know they wanted to make sure their case against her was solid. But they let a murderer walk around for five years. That's scary. They found the murder weapon in her car and never even confronted her about it until 5 years later. What if she'd killed again during that time?!
Most people who kill their spouses aren't serial killers and imagine they tried to charge and try her without sufficient evidence to ensure a conviction. She could be acquitted and walk entirely and never receive punishment for killing her husband.
911 call: My husband’s been shot! It wasn’t me because I was at our makeshift gym in our MIL suite that was recently painted a nice blue color. My husband wanted the matte finish but I wanted semi-gloss. We compromised on eggshell. We were so good at compromising because we loved each other so much. I can’t believe someone did this! (And you know it wasn’t me because of all the needless details I just shared!)
She gave herself away as soon as she said the front door was unlocked, but in the same breath said that the door “is set up to um…. I feel like I can’t think” She was about to say “set up to lock itself” but stopped herself knowing that she would be caught in a lie. And that a person wouldn’t be able to come through the front with an automatic locking door.. so no robber could have just walked through the front.
Ah, the front door and her halting at explaining something about it...yes, I think you're right, that it would lock automatically. (Was that point ever explored?)
Who even remembers what drawers were pulled out etc when their loved one is dying on the floor too. Not to mention her back and forth about trying to get help quickly...by wandering around the house. It’s interesting when narcissists repeat things they want you to think about them. Just in case you didn’t hear her the first 10 times, she’s in AA and volunteers

It's part of a common technique used and taught to interrogators called The Reid Technique. Part of the initial process is that if they're suspected of the crime to attempt to shoot down any false narratives that have clear inconsistencies so the suspect doesn't have time to settle in the lie
I like to listen to these while I work, so sometimes I'm not watching the video. Looking at my other screens for work, the male detective sounds like Fox Mulder, and it's a total trip. I thoroughly enjoy the format of these, thank you!
As a recovering alcoholic with plenty of experience with AA it's laughable that she acts like you're never supposed to break your anonymity and admit you attend AA 😂 You just generally don't use a last name in the meetings, it doesn't mean you're not supposed to talk about being in the program.
My Dad attended AA when I was a kid and I remember him being very open about his recovery and I remember meeting his sponsor and everything. He’s now over 20 years sober and it completely changed his life, he’d be the first to break his anonymity to tell you that. My dad is the best man I know.
Too much detail in 911 call and she asks if there's any chance he will survive? She was convincingly distraught at times though. But she comes off as a total narcissist to me.
This interview is so wild. As soon as the detective asked about what she does for a living, all crying ceased and she started talking about her modeling. Shes not even trying omg 😂
The whole "I didn't want to get blood on me" and "I thought it would be better for the scene" was very telling. Not to mention she went upstairs to see what happened or confront if someone was in the house but when she saw no one and went back downstairs to check her husband a 2nd time, knowing no one was there, she THEN felt unsafe and went outside. These investigators did pretty good not raising voices, leaving pauses and she filled in the inconsistencies like, at the end, she needed to do her narrative about the keys because they didn't ask that.
I was thinking along the lines of if I found my wife laying in a puddle of blood, the last thing in earth I would think about would be “I have to be careful in order to not be implicated for this”
Yeah, you gotta be pretty selfish to see your husband potentially murdered, think he's still alive(according to her testimony) and not want to touch the body because you didn't want to be implicated. Who would think that when looking at their dying loved one? "Oh shit... hope i don't get blamed for this" lol
"911 what is your emergency?" Before we get to that let me tell you what I think happened here. 911: Address please? Rebecca: Looks like a burglary and my stuff is missing Oh.............and my husband looks like he may be dead. 911: Address? Rebecca: I just got back from the gym (I work out you know) and I came home to find my house burglarized. Also my husband is probably dead. 911: Address?????
It's crazy that her story would've been so much more believable if she said she checked him for a pulse and then ran to her car and drove down the street or something. Her going around the house and noticing every specific instance of ransacking was ridiculous.
The fact that the detectives didn't pick up on the fact that she was using her cell phone in the work out room and yet had to go to her car to get the cell phone to call police..could've been a huge Gotcha moment
What's astonishing is that she thinks that the story she's telling even sounds truthful at all. No one has that much to say after witnessing something like that.
@@philip-op6de I thought these detectives were crap, but they knew she was guilty, the problem is they have to convince 12 jurors she's guilty, and I don't think they had that. Because of double jeopardy they only get one shot.
The funny thing is I'm in AA and it means the other people you see there should be kept anonymous, not yourself. She acts like she's breaking rules by saying she goes. People wear AA hoodies all the time😂🤷
She made it pretty easy for the cops. She tells them that only her and her husband knew where the keys were...that narrows it down to two people, and one of those two people is uh, dead. So that narrows it down to one person lol
I think she believes she’s a very good liar. She was a call girl for years and had her family believing she was a decorator. The 2 detectives interrogating did a great job, especially the male. He never gave her a stage to fake cry and play the sympathy card. Poor Larry. He had no idea how cold and heartless Rebecca was. Just after a payday. Now she’s living in the lap of custody.
I believe it is interesting that she told the 911 operator about the house having been "ransacked," first, and then mentioned her husband likely being dead second.
Good point! I wish they called her out on that! It makes me mad and scared that they would seriously let her roam free for 5 years tho. That’s what really gets me. And the fact that she didn’t even flee during that whole time?! Wow.
actually she did mentioned to the 911 operator that her husband was shot first then her house got burglarized... she's not that bad in lying and also seems like she's careful on what comes to say, but like all liars, it's a whole book for a simple question!
The “anonymous” part of AA refers to people keeping what OTHERS say and THEIR identities confidential. You can tell whoever you want about yourself, like-
A lot of people, esp professionals, keep it a secret and use the anonymous in the name as a reason to do so.. There's been several attempts to get people to come out of the shadows so that they can be organized for voting and getting support.
Even a newbie detective could easily see she's guilty by the ridiculous amount of detail & giggles when referring to PMS & Tiger Woods. SOO cold. Everyone handles trauma differently but she's not even crying or visibly upset, but instead too worried about keeping her aliby straight.
I want to start by saying most likely she did it, however I honestly do not think she did or reacted so far out of the box that made it obvious! Until you are in a dramatic situation like that and go through shock then you cannot automatically assume the things she did and said made her guilty! She was under a very stressful situation! Everyone handles stuff like that differently! Maybe she watches to much tv, where they say never touch the body or it makes you look guilty! Maybe she didn’t love him which would cause you to react differently than most of us would in that situation with our spouse! And running up the stairs in a moment of trauma when you are in shock is not that crazy either! What is crazy is she passed a test the same day with no gun powder on her hands! That stuff just doesn’t come off with a quick bathroom visit! And the gun magically appears under her seat?? So your telling me she didn’t have enough time to drive her husbands car more than a block away but she had enough time to scrub her hands and find something to remove every bit of gun powder off her hands to past a test like that? And your telling me she had time to grab a bunch of money and valuables and put them in his car and ditch it but for some reason decided to put the murder weapon carelessly under the seat of her own car??? Then with that weapon under her seat it took 5 years to arrest her all because some criminal guy she dated said she would kill him like she did her husband?? Something don’t add up to me! You all just jump on the narrative that the narrator of the video is trying to portray! Her lawyer sucks because I could create enough doubt to convince a jury of a mistrial in this case!
And I seen her first crying then see her laughing with anothe cops man she so guilty she wanted the insurance she didn’t so she burned her house how insurance are so dum u just sent her a letter that she loosen he home then she has a fire how dum could they be to pay it off not only she was a prime suspect in her husband killing dum as insurance person she probably flirting with him to as she did with the cop

It's chilling to see a murderer trying to deflect blame by telling lie after lie. If you're going to lie you'd better have a good memory. I've seen similar videos in which the people conducting the interrogation ask the same question twice in two separate sessions, sometimes worded differentily, and this trips up the suspect so that they tell a conflicting answer.

Absolutely incompetent
@Mall Ninja “a random hobo” 💀😂. But yes. You are correct. I think there might have been holes in the narration.

I kept thinking "a model what"?
Her biggest mistake... "I didn't touch him bc if I was covered in blood, it might've incriminated me". This is what she was thinking when her husband was lying there dead.
But her interview worked!!!! She was NOT arrested, only the fire for insurance and someone snitching on her caused the arrest---many years later. Bottom line, these detectives were fooled and Rebecca met her objective.
Then she had the gall to say “maybe I’ve watched too much tv” and then asked “what kind of shows” out of all shows she says “CSI”!!😂😂
If my loved one is lying in a septic tank and drowned I would still attempt mouth to mouth. Not trying to be gross but there is just nothing including blood that would stop me. No one who legitimately walks in on a loved one on the floor in a puddle of blood is going to worry about incriminating themselves by having blood on them nor would they be indifferent to figuring out who did it.
Exactly.
What if your loved one has hep-c from sharing syringes...

He interrupts her a lot and I noticed that right away. He definitely was suspicious of her.
@@lisashrestha5023 The lady cop was suspicious too. I saw that in her body language. But they had already decided on their roles. She was "good cop" and he was "bad cop"...but only mildly so. That way if he asked a question and the suspect shuts down, then the lady cop could step in and say something like "I understand your pain".
I felt like he didn't. This should have been an easy case

I've been in AA for a long time, never date a woman in AA, they are nuts.
My Dad attended AA when I was a kid and I remember him being very open about his recovery and I remember meeting his sponsor and everything. He’s now over 20 years sober and it completely changed his life, he’d be the first to break his anonymity to tell you that. My dad is the best man I know.

I was thinking along the lines of if I found my wife laying in a puddle of blood, the last thing in earth I would think about would be “I have to be careful in order to not be implicated for this”
But, she was LOADED and he better get out! She was loaded, alright. More like FOS! My 10 year old could tell a more believable story.
Yeah, you gotta be pretty selfish to see your husband potentially murdered, think he's still alive(according to her testimony) and not want to touch the body because you didn't want to be implicated. The deliberate "awkward pause".
I agree. But she still went free for 5 years 🤔
I literally almost screamed when I first saw her face at the beginning of the video 🫣
