I was a student at University of Illinois when it happened and I was in a building right across the street where he picked her up on the same day. If he was driving another car, say a Toyota Corolla, there was no way the detectives could arrest him and/or build a case against him. And that's so scary! There were exactly TWO black Saturn Astra registered to Urbana-Champaign addresses. Even with that, they still had to use his wife to get a confession from him. And the confession came when they were attending a vigil that was organized by students for her.

Open relationships like that will always end up ruining the life of everyone involve, sooner or later, it's a ticking bomb. Imagine a wife on vacation with another man, enough to drive you mad.

We all knew what he did, but when he mentioned her jeans that really told me exactly what he did. Normally you would either not remember what a person wore on a certain day, or you would remember something close to their face - like a hat, an accessory, or a shirt. The fact that he only recalled the jeans was so telling. No other piece of clothing mattered enough for him to remember, but the jeans he needed to take off of her. That’s why he remembers it, in my opinion. It’s quite creepy to think about that sentence in that light.
I hope her body is found soon, and that her family can give her a proper burial. She can no longer go back hone the way everyone would want her to, but at least she can still go home this way. It would probably help her family and friends too… I hope they’re doing okay despite this tragedy and are healing well.

You make a really good point. I must counter it and say as an ass man, some places a man’s eyes will go and that’s one of them. When a woman fills them out right, we don’t forget that. Great point and your prob right too in his remembering
