Really appreciate the video tutorials for our new Synergy Core 4 interface and Solo mic. Thanks for being all in for your customers!
Thx. Nice! It was necessary cause there was not good videos on this subject now..
Nicely done! More please. 😀
Great Video James!
Amazing great 👍🏻
I'm using Discrete 4 SC without a DAW: how can I route it so that the attached microphone processes effects and then the mic/effects are then heard by people while I chat with them on any chat application on my PC? So that essentially the Discrete 4 SC becomes my PC's default audio recording default device.
How i can connect a tube mic??
You are routing the Edge Duo's signal to a stereo channel in your DAW. But the diaphragms are picking up the front and back signal. When you monitor an Edge Duo through a standard L+R stereo channel, the L side is way louder as it's from the front diaphragm. How do you sum the two signals to a mono signal that retains the right pickup signal? Just a normal sum to mono?
It's not actually necessary to record the processed version to a stereo track.
The two channels "become" mono after the EMU Mic stage when you choose microphone.
At least this is the case with my Orion Studio Rev 2017.
If you record an unprocessed take you will need to record to a stereotrack and use the plugin (VST/AAX)
Thank you Sam. This take is correct - the VST outputs a centered signal on a (stereo) track in Reaper.
Wow !! maybe slow it down a hair mate...the screen shots during setups are a blurrrr...I mean we are paying a good amount of $$$ for the gear after all !!
This only applies to ZenTour SC; Orion SC and Galaxy SC as Discrete SC units have a different matrix for routing. Really wish we can all have the same matrix one day. Probably in vain..
