I'm a software engineer and the fact they chose not to let it do that is purely intentional like it's such a simple thing to add but nope. we apple, we keep our screens straight
You're not making a lot of sense given apple knows it is a third party monitor. Probably an oversight or just a dumb choice/they didn't consider anybody would flip their monitor.
@@evanmarch4142 That's such a stupid complaint. Such a mouse is barely charged every month and most people use it for way long, you know all early that your mouse is at 10-5-1% and that gives you days of margin, not minutes. Could they have done it differently? sure. Was it necessary? Not really.
Simple screen rotation on the iPad as a second monitor is also not possible 😡 would be nice to edit vertical videos. Going to have to buy a portable monitor for this reason. These restrictions are ridiculous
I kinda hate that because I got my second monitor yesterday and stacked them of course but then I couldn’t flip the orientation which should be a setting in the display settings
Not 3. You can only use one external. The other two are connected to my desktop pc. I have a recent desk setup video that shows pretty much everything.
This is an older video. Does the ipad allow the monitor orientation to change now with IOS 17.2.1? Or still no? Also, are you able to connect 2 external monitors with the ipad? I'm hoping that they've allowed a few more things since IOS 16.2. Thanks.
Multiple ways. If you have lightning port. You need a lightning to HDMI adapter. If usb c then either a usb c to HDMI cable or a monitor that supports usb c in.
Because it looks better. He used the “stacked” monitor layout, and his screen has a big bezel at the bottom so flipping the monitor is for the aesthetic.

100%. Imagine they let you use their $5000 monitor upside down. Haha never!
Because in world of apple an inverted screen would cause the monitor logo to go upside down which is a big no no in terms of asthetics in apple...

haha This is very true.
This is the same company that put the charge port for their mouse on the bottom....

Wasn’t a complaint. Just a making a reference.
Ur mousepad that you have is the same brand of my keyboard😊
Good choice!

I know I feel the same way. But even with that. None of the video editors support multi screen support.
What monitor arm are you using for the stacked setup?
It is a triple monitor stand. 2 low but I don’t use the second mount.
I kinda hate that because I got my second monitor yesterday and stacked them of course but then I couldn’t flip the orientation which should be a setting in the display settings
Ya same. Something so simple is missing. Maybe sometime in the future.
leave it normal and just adjust it so that you cannot see the bottom bezel of the screen 👍👍👍
i got the same wallpaper and its sooo good
Haha so nice! Good taste!
What’s this wallpaper name?

Dude, how are you using three monitors ( visible) with only an ipad?? Need a detailed video on it !! And cable management too.
Not 3. You can only use one external. The other two are connected to my desktop pc. I have a recent desk setup video that shows pretty much everything.
Oh I was thinking two.
Cause you said a “second external monitor”.
What monitor are u using your iPad with ?
Hp Z24 monitor.
Is touch and pen still works on it? I want connect it to my pc and use it as a graphic tablet for animation.
You would need an app for that. Try space desk, i think it is called. not sure if it allows pencil support though.

On my monitor you can change the orientation in the settings. Have you tried that?
Yes, no luck. Thanks for the tip!
My iPad is at update 16.3.1
What mount are you using for your iPad?
Ugreen holder, let me know if you would like a link.
Can connect 2 displays on iPad Pro if I have 2 display out on adapter?
No unfortunately you can’t. iPad only supports one external display.
What stand do you have your iPad on?
Ugreen tablet stand. amzn.to/3szNtux
Really cool but God the fact that you had to flip your monitor just because … “Apple” is almost infuriating
I know, something so simple.
All you need is a bt mouse and keyboard
Can we switch into portrait mode display with ipad?
No not possible
Can you use external monitor in vertical?
Not yet, maybe one day?
Why would u have a flipped monitor !!?
Less of a gap between the two screens.
How did you flip the top screen
I just mounted the adapter upside down.
how u connect ipad to windows? duet display? by cable?
This is not connecting to windows. Just an external display.
@@evanmarch4142but how
How could I display my Xbox already on my tv and then mirror that to my iPad
You would need a USB C ipad, and you could use a capture card on the ipad.

You need more monitors 😂
Haha just one more would be perfect!
Why the heck was yours flipped💀
Because it looks better.

Me with my samsung tab s8 plus laughing
No customizing that's Apple😂
100%. Maybe one day?
Can we connect monitor with iPad mini?
Yes, but it is only to mirror the ipad display. on pro and air can extend to an external display.
LOL who actually uses Apple
