I was a huge Nirvana fan and I still love their music. The “unplugged” session that they did with MTV is simply amazing. I still listen to it while I work.
Another Great lesson buddy! Love watching and learning. The bleed in the laminates to me makes it look a little more natural. Appreciate all you do. Keep em coming
Hi Chris, Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to help those of us interested in getting in to making lures. Your videos sure make it a lot easier to get started. I also have a question, where is the best place to get a dual injector ? I have been making my own lures for about 6 months now and I think I am ready to attempt laminates. Again Thank You for all the help !!
This is very helpful Chris..... Thanks.... I just gotta extend my appreciation man.... Being new to this hobby myself, I find about everything you do helpful.... Dead on plastics is superior in your opinion, in my opinion this you tube channel is superior!... By far the coolest content I have found!..... Keep them coming man... Thanks
Awesome video! I spent 2 days trying to figure out why I couldn’t get white pearl powder to laminate with electric blue colorant and not have bleed over. Glad to know it’s not something I was doing! Thanks man!
My Dead on Plastix just shipped .. I’m so excited 🤗.. I love how you break everything down and explain the process so well.. I can’t wait to get started .. thank you so much for your videos 🤘🤘🤘
I finally picked up an AI handpour mold and made some awesome laminates with the watermelon seed and purple you showed in the last Back to Basics video. Thanks man!
Sweet little garden man, for the box are those 2x10s...my lady has her little flower bed in the front...i always wanted to grow my own peppers...love your videos man I can't stop watching you make these things...literally addicted
like the orange and green one. I just made a really cool laminated stick bait with a black side and a purplish side with blue flake. smells good too. Added some scent to it.
Hey you inspired me to start my own baits. I used plaster of Paris to make a mold and I am just hand pouring. I’m not very good but I’m just starting and bait pouring is so fun. I can’t wait to get more professional molds to make cool baits like you do
Your videos are very informative especially for someone like myself who is starting to get into the game and just wanted to say watch the squash they tend to take up alot of the garden
Perfect timing. I'm trying to make a bait with the same injector you are using. Angling AI 5 Inch Bloodline mold. Just using your first colors of green and orange/yellow. I want it to be more like 80% green on top and 20% orange on bottom. But would settle for 60% green on top and 40% orange on bottom. Problem is I keep ending up with 40% green on top and 60% orange. Any tips on temp or whatever so I can make it mostly green?
Nice! Complete with Flamdrags. Flams & Fishing. I can dig it. Back 2 Basics I thought i"d see some 8's and 8's this time. good stuff man, the baits especially. Technique is always paramount i see. again good stuff man.
Thanks man, from the first video I saw you do makes me want to get started into making Plastics baits, come to fayette Alabama and I'll put you on some big big bass
Nice. Good tips for new folks as well as experienced. When I first started, I thought the hotter the better. I had a ton of dimples. Bought a temp gauge and that has changed the game. For me, I inject at 285-310 degrees depending on size of mold. Another tip for laminating is if you dont have a laminated injector, you could pour one side and inject the other side a little hotter to infuse the two.
Your videos help me so much I’m new to this and I still have a problem with powder colors idk if it’s a temp thing or what but The one spot in the craw is hollow 9/10 times I have tried different things but nothing consistent
I've been watching for a long time and I still enjoy the basics. Great vid. I enjoy the simple molds but how you get to the desired color is the real magic. Playing with colors and flakes is fun. We need a chatterbait trailer mold. Since you have a connection, maybe you can mention it to josh. I have some real ideas as to design. The chatterbait has been key to putting matt and I on the map here in Oregon. Took up too much of your time...but I'm still looking for a drummer for an electric blues/rock band. Lol
It was great video man. Quick question though I've got one mold that everytime I make baits in it one side has bad flashing and other side is perfectly fine was wondering if u had any advice on how to prevent this I've tried shooting the plastic a little hotter a little colder held less pressure and more pressure nothing seems to make it better
Hey chris I need some help with California 420 color, I know it's a laminate but what are the colors I think its watermelon green /red flake and ??? I dont know what the darker color is unless its black/red flake. What are the colors you used?
I haven't planted my garden yet supposed to drop back into the 20s next 2 days. Do u do anything with the pieces that are left over out of the molds? Like the runner?
Would love to see if you can do the core shot 5in. Senior in the Gary Yamamoto 194j fading watermelon. I just order one from angling ai Any help would be great got to love spell check on apple phone (stick bait) core. Been pouring about 5 yrs. the old presto pots. Just order injectors & some dead on black label watching your vids. Great job keep it up. Would like to get some info. On some things if possible
Hey Bro, I really need your advice. If you were making 2-3" jerk bait minnows for trout & you want them to suspend & slowly sink what plastisol would you buy?? God Bless You for all your help!
@@WorldsWorstFishing Not to sound like a fruitbag, but your one cool mofo Chris. I think it took you less than a minute to reply. I looked it up & The Feather Floating Swimbait formula is only $40 a gallon. I trust your advice that it will slowly sink/suspend rather than just sit on the surface. I'm assuming a hook is all the weight it takes to begin a slow submersion w/this formula. Is it correct to assume that on the worms, the tail is going to be the color of your bottom color? It seems to be in your video, just wondering if that’s the norm? Also, I watched a diff channel on using a laminate plate, Senkos specifically, it seems the dual injector and blending block is easier, quicker and all around more convenient, is there a specific use where you would use/need the lami-plate? Thanks, great video👍🏻
Nice quarantine hair, it looks as bad as mine does, lol. Good refresher video at a most opportune time. My VERY first Angling AI mold is scheduled to be delivered to me Saturday. You've set the expectations very high for me, I hope it shoots as well as they do in you vids (I went with the Ecto Craw). First thing I wanted to point out is about cleaning the injectors. You did nothing wrong, but I wanted to say that after a year of shooting Senko molds, SALT has become the bane of my (and more importantly the O rings in my injectors) existence. Clean your injectors out immediately following your salt injections. One of my ideas for the Ecto Craw mold is a black back with a belly using only small red flake. Is the goal still to get both cups to the same temp before shooting them?
I perfer when you do crazy bait ideas and complicated stuff but no matter what it is good content I if the masses perfer this then I enjoy it no matter what

Nice tip on keeping the opacity similar between the colours. Something I didn't really consider until you pointed it out.
Chris, Another great video! I hope you can do some videos about adding sent to your baits. How, when, and why. Thanks for all of the great videos!!
