1 thing that I have realized is that you will never be able to please everyone. I just started making my own jigs a year ago and to this day I am amazed at the endless possibilities. Especially when you start understanding how the pigments work.
That's an awesome mold!!!! The Ecto Craw should show this color extremely well!! Do you remember the color of the worms that were this color from back in the day?
Nice video again! Thanks for all the work you put into figuring this color out! As someone who makes baits in my very limited free time, it’s nice to have guys like you, and the others on YT, that put in the time to figure things out and are willing to share. THANK YOU! I’ll be shooting this color in the A.I. 4” jigging minnow first.
Way back in the day Rebel made a color they called crawdad in a ringworm that was very similar but without the flake that was a killer out here on the Cal Delta. Great looking baits you made. Thanks for sharing.
This recipe is phenomenal! I love it! Every time I see this vid my mind is blown! Love your videos. You're starting to rub off on me and it makes me want to make my own baits.
I thought I smelled Chameleon! The green char addition though… very nice. I need to consider “combinations” like this more… my combos are usually “laminate pairings” of primarily single colors each, but man… you really can do a lot by adding pigments to pigments! Not without its risks, but the reward is pretty awesome when it works! Good stuff man!
Well if it wasn’t for your video I wouldn’t have unlocked the color!!! Chameleon is such a great color on its own too. I highly encourage you to start mixing pigments together! Lots of great combos and colors you can’t get otherwise! 🤙🏼

@@baitchuckin I have a question on 3.8” crazy hog cavity. When I inject this mold, not all of the real thin areas aren’t getting the plastisol to it and I was just wondering if maybe I’m doing it to slow and it’s starts settling up before it gets to the bottom part of the mold? My temp is always at 350 degrees when injecting the mold.
@@chrishebert3240 You could be going slow, or the mold could be too cold which is in turn cooling the plastic quickly. Also perhaps try apply a bit more pressure and hold the pressure for a few seconds. Yes, we fish this color all the time. The smallmouth love it in a slick swim profile. It's a nice crossover color that will work in low to moderate visibility. The chartreuse helps it in muddy water with 1-2 ft visibility, and I would say it works up to about 6-8 ft visibility. Much beyond that you need some translucent realistic profiles I think when it's super clear.
