Hey guys. Protips. 1. Denting comes from the cold molds pulling the heat from the plastic at a fast rate, so preheating with a griddle or even a heat gun to reduce the difference from the ambient temp and the mold temps will help reduce that. (Heat gun can also help warm up the injector). 2. The injectors should pull and push way smoother, try using a little worm oil around the o-ring on the plunger and run it up and down a few times until you get a smooth pull. 3. Bubbles will no longer be an issue if you invest in a vacuum chamber (can also be useful in the future if you decide to make your own silicone molds). 3. With pigments/dyes, the more drops/scoops you use, the more saturated the color of the bait, the more opaque (solid as opposed to see through) it will be. Always start with less drops, especially in a laminate/swirl. 4. Before shooting a set to see how it will match up, you can drizzle some plastic off the stirring utensil onto a work surface to see how they blend, using a teaspoon at max vs over 2 oz of plastic. I'm excited for you guys now that you've started pouring yourselves. The Creepy Crawler vibe is exactly how I perceived it when I started pouring a few years ago. Awesome reference. Can't wait to see how you guys progress on your bait making journey. Tight lines. Side note: Paul... NEVER use that much force to try and inject plastisol... if hot plastic shoots out the sides or with those particular non-locking injectors, the tips come off and it all pours out, you can seriously burn yourself, even through clothing.
I don't think that I have ever commented on this channel even though I've been subbed for quite some time. But I gotta say that this was awesome. Enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work and fun.
Great video and great job for 1st time! Thanks for sharing and I hope we will see more bait making videos! It would be cool to see you make some swimbaits. #AggressivelyAverageAnglers rocks!!!
Make sure you are getting a snug fit with that beard! As someone who used to fit test people, most people with any sort of beard, had to shave. It's really difficult to get a proper seal with the mask with a beard in most cases, just food for thought. Safety is always first! I cannot imagine you'd wanna breath in that funky stuff. Great video and keep up the great work. Tight lines!
Great job guys. This is something I've been wanting to do but I want to make my own mold...I want one of the OG banjo minnows with some limper plastic in a smoke color
Thanks for the cool video guys. Much appreciated. As cool as the process is, there seems to be so much work and waste just to make a couple of baits. There has to be a better way. It would be nice to get a mould with 10 or 20 etc cavities. Doing it this way it takes away too much actual fishing time
Very nice can you PLEASE make me some Hellgrammites Lol I can’t find the Yum or afford the Nikko brand.. It’s so exciting making soft plastics I’m glad you guys are getting into it and a partnership in suing with Do It… great video Guys
@@aaanglers that would work for me. In New England with damn beaver dams everywhere so I throw the 4” dinger on a super lite 2/0 ewg a lot. Got it from Creek Fishing Adventures. You get a close presentation to the wacky rig but a lot better for around sticks and branches
I had a friend of a friend that made a metal mould for plastic baits for one of his finals as a tool and die maker. I have a few baits that he made. He had to design the baits and machine them out of metal and used dowel pins to close them instead of hinges. I used to make them years ago in the plastic things that you could only mould one side of a bait and the rest was just flat. I also made a bunch of rods but I figured out It was just cheaper to buy them. I spent hours spinning a rod in my hands to let the coating dry and the first fish I caught the tip broke off
We've made a couple videos covering the gear and making. More to come! Check out our guys Debo's Fishing and World's Worst Fishing for good how to videos.
Hello, I would like to know how do I buy the equipment? because I live in Japan and it's difficult to have these materials here!! your video is very good!!
I have a vacuum chamber, I need a microwave, the injectors, mold, and I was thinking of just melting other soft plastics to start before jumping into color, flake etc
Gt yourself a heat gun, then warm your molds, I very much liked those 1st neds you made kind of earthy colors, good video guys, lots of fun Lets Go Brandon !
What should we make next?
Something with action; craw, Swimbait/grub, curl tail worm
Craw/frog with paddle tail lags
Try an open pour mold of some sort.
Paddle tail
You should actually make the creepy crawlers and using them as ultra light lures!
Need to turn your injector, your shooting one color on each side is why your not getting a laminate. Awesome video guys
Did you see the end where these dummies figured it out finally lol
@@aaanglers lol I typed this before I saw the end 🤣

Fantastic tips!
Thanks for alm the tips!
Also had the creepy crawlers set. It was the bomb! Awesome vid guys!
World's worst fishing has awesome videos, Chris makes great training videos
Nice. You can add some white before the chartreuse. It makes it opaque for more popping chartreuse
Also, heaven help you when you start playing with highlight powder.
Hahaha thanks!
Nice colors, Debo for the save!
🙌
@@aaanglers black with white flakes!
Heck yeah! Glad yall are messing around with baitin now! Those baits look amazing!
Thanks!
Loved this episode of aggressively entertaining science
Would love to see rod making for the next science series

That’s awesome!!!
Thank you!
Great first goes on the Baits i think we all have made the same mistakes starting out
We need more of this!
There will be more!
When remelting plastic you will need to cut it up. And in the winter use a heater on the molds and injector
Good call!
Awesome video! I'm going to get my grandson, who is a great fisherman, his own starter kit for Christmas I'm on my way to the Do-It site right now!
I remember Paul doing an unboxing video for all this stuff. It was in better condition then. A little more dry.
Haha yup!
great video ,,, really loved this one , great job guys
Thanks!

Thanks! I pulled it super tight. We had the garage open too to help. I can never shave this beard lol, my kids would freak out!
Love this vid. You guys kill me 😂
I’m sure with practice you guy will kill it
Eventually lol
Thanks 🙌

My favorite stormtroopers. It's a process at first but once do a few it's easy from there
We're here for the process!
Killing it!! Keep it up guys. I was gonna do the knucklehead but couldn't make up my mind on which Ned to fish with
I wish you guys all the success in this endeavor 🎉🎉🎉😊I love how you get along ssssssoooooo well!! Please keep it up 😊

No partnership but they did hook us up with a starter kit
I cant wait to start doing this
Definitely considering this for those long winter months. What is the finished product like. They’re not salted so more of a yum dinger type plastic?
Standard plastic at this point, like yum
Very much like a dinger, maybe even softer. Sink rate is still good. Already caught some fish on em so…. They work!

Did the vacuum pump not work that i sent? Don't forget you can heat your molds to prevent prevent bubbles
We’re just getting it going. Gonna try that next!
Man I'm so glad I found a group for my aggressively average fishing skills

Nice to see some people honoring the show Doug😂
Glad you figured it out!😅
The hollow part of the worm is where you stick your rattle LOL
Perfect 😂
Hey guys I am trying to get into this what are some tips and additional good things I should know
We've made a couple videos covering the gear and making. More to come! Check out our guys Debo's Fishing and World's Worst Fishing for good how to videos.
alright thanks 👍🏻
BIG SWIMBAITS!!
Paul was clearly training for this video with his shakeweight.
Ope
🤣
Breaking Bad - Bass Edition! or Breaking Bass!!!!
I'm getting Breaking Bad vibes 😂
Yup
Hello, I would like to know how do I buy the equipment? because I live in Japan and it's difficult to have these materials here!! your video is very good!!
Thanks! I'm not sure about shipping to Japan.
21:34 10 drops green to 25 yellow is such an odd guess but id bet my money
Very disappointed you didnt sing spoonman when Paul was banging
Opportunity missed 😂
Were is the link to buy what you need to make lures???
It’s all on Do it molds website
Where do you buy the kit
Do it molds website
Where did you get the mold
Do it molds
I have a vacuum chamber, I need a microwave, the injectors, mold, and I was thinking of just melting other soft plastics to start before jumping into color, flake etc
How much did you buy in the box? Price? Can you tell me where to buy it?
I'm begging you.
Everything is on Do It Molds website
@@aaanglers thank you
what was the cost of your little bag of worms
You mean adding up the amount of plastisol and colorant we used?
How about red white and blue?
transparent zenko with blast of red blood flakes
Don’t breathe in the fumes 😂😂But we did it our entire childhood making creepy crawlers!
I'm pretty sure your not supposed to shake the plastic that much, :)
Watch worlds worst fishing. Best channel making plastics
We called them out in the vid. Learning a lot from him
With some more practice, yall will get better.
🙌
You can keep reheating your plastisol... Yep just keep watching and it's there
try to twist as you inject?
Lmao. U need me to help you
Mmm reminds me of how every time I put a bag of scented worms with my worms and it gets a tiny slit in the bottom of the bag every time
This videos old but the reason why your laminate didn't come out right is because you needed to turn the plate sideways 😅
pig and elephant DNA just won't splice
Hahahahaha
95% of what I fish with I make myself now....nothing better than that
Gt yourself a heat gun, then warm your molds, I very much liked those 1st neds you made kind of earthy colors, good video guys, lots of fun Lets Go Brandon !
World's Worst Fishing - Chris Jones absolutely the best bait making videos check him out.
We did and mentioned in the video. Been watching him a while and learning.
do not try and remelt any z man plastics they do not melt its a special type of plastic
U have to shake your colorant also
the stale cracker shout out 🤣 im excited to see what you guys cook up with the color combos 🎣
put that on a cracka dood
Check out marrking he’s also really great and has done great designs and has killed with some of his lures and plastics.
Next time lol.
