Glad I tuned to this to show my granddaughter what yodeling was! We just got through watching several yodeling videos from Germany, Switzerland, and others. She was fascinated and really enjoyed them. She loves to hum all the time and can really hit some high notes when singing her made up songs. For some reason, I thought of showing her what yodeling was in case she might start imitating it. Thanks for this session. It’s been a joy to share with her. We shall return!

I just love your yodeling. I'd like to be able to do just yodeling, like I saw a young yodeler, who appeared to be just yodeling the whole time in a song. To be able to just yodel the song while it is playing, would be awesome. Some people hum along. I would like to yodel along.
Was she yodeling a song you're familiar with? Or was she yodeling to an unfamiliar song? You can take these yodels and string them together and make a song like that!
I loved this and I hope you're teaching your granddaughter

I began singing when I was about 11-12, maybe 13, I'm just a creative type. I would still love to be an Actress but I fell back on my first love of writing but lately something has been telling me I need to brush up on some old talents for what reason I don't know but I looked up yodeling on youtube because I always had issues with it but my Grandpa and his brother (my Great Uncle) may they both RIP. Anyway they learned to sing, yodel and play the guitar and piano by ear. Of course they were both born in the late 1920's early 1930's when everyone in the Southern United States used to have a Church voice so I guess that's why it came so easily to them.

It's an old Public Domain traditional song. Think I'll put a video of me singing it on my channel soon. I do a little different yodel when I sing it so I'll try and write the yodel out! thanx..but....would you show on the screen when your voice jump up then when you drop it. i can hear it but i can not put it where ...it sound to me that you jump on the E sound and drop down on the end of the E sound..

If you watch The Secret to Yodeling, it will tell you how to slow videos down. If you slow the "Let's Yodel" video down, you should be able to get the answer to your question, okay?
