*Hy Folks* I have another video to suggest for you 👉🏼 ruclips.net/video/41k_Culfu9Q/видео.html If you want to have a beautiful voice and timbre, this video is for you!
after like a year of going full speed self teaching myself. Ive to realize. most "coaches" are full of crap. and nobody can agree on the naming schemes for anything. everything is called something different by someone else. thing that makes me the most upset. is breath from your diaphragm. most people get tripped up here. they overcomplicate it. instead of explaining the abs, pelvic floor. and making the SSSS sound to automatically get this structure in place instantly. like everyone breaths from their diaphragm. its the most ashine phrase Ive heard in this entire obsession. I got tired of it. and just use opera definitions. looked for people that can easily demonstrate it. and I started studying the body from all the muscles resonance, etc. opera is a good foundation, messed with throat singing, started playing with sub harmonics and overtones. within a year. ive been able to get really good at moving through registers, consistently, good belts. go from sub harmonic bass sounds and easily flip straight to whistle register. able to do some metal screams. and inhale phonation that everyone says will hurt you. but like everything else, stop if it hurts. beat boxers use inhales. there is no reason I should be able to do this after a year of going full speed, instead of the wavering interest i had before. lesson I learned. experts are full of it. exactly why "authority" in many facets of life is just a falsehood of trust. not saying some aren't experts in actuality, but so many aren't. its maddening. and people wonder why I dont trust experts and authority whatsoever. and follow my autodidact nature.
OMG I JUST FOUND THE REAL EXPLANATION OF HOW SOFT PALATE, LARYNX, PHARYNX AND EVERYTHING ELSE GOING ON IN THE BODY WHILE SINGING WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For years i've been trying to understand it but no teacher or video has been able to explain it like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS is the only vocal coach in the internet that can reallly teach this. He knows not only how to do it but he teaches it as a professional teacher would
@@singwelltv I learned the basics of singing here in Italy, also about rising the soft palate and keeping the larinx lower. But believe it or not I didn't know they were two related things. So this also answers some of my questions. I can use mixed voice but still I am a light tenor so my chest voice is naturally ...thin. When I go into mixed voice it sounds a bit thinner ( I don't use falsetto at all). So maybe I can do something, making some more room in my mouth to give mi mix a bit more body ...because it just annoys me) THANKS.
This was more helpful than all the other videos I watched, immediately noticed the change, I wasn’t straining to make the sound, definitely will be checking out more of your content!
I enjoyed the exercises. But I'm still not sure which way he is saying is the correct way. The nasal or the cavity way. I'm rather slow lol. Care to explain to me what you understood please? Whenever you get a moment 😊
So far he is the only person who demostrated the head voice. I knew that wasn't falsetto the moment I heard it. I finally discovered my head voice after so many years of tryna understand what it was, how does it sound, tryna find examples. After messing around by vocalizing in my lower range, the light bulb went off so quickly. I was actually doing breathing exercises and doing something different which is hard to explain wut I wuz doin. I jus kno I wuz hearing overtones in the note I was soundin off. So I kept going up and down. I kept goin up to see how high I could go. Dat's when I knew I finally figured it out. Started singin a Larry Graham song to apply this tecnique i discovered by accident. Had a lotta rust in there, but I knew wit practice it would strengthin further. My vocal cords would get used to wut I wuz doin. Fast forward to today, I'm not an expert yet but now I'm listenin to all singers dat have the same range or close, or singers dat I want to sound like. Such as Kenny Terry from Az Yet. He eitha is a bass/baritone or a baritenor. I'm fo sho a bass baritone. parts of his range I couldn't tap into when I was a teen listenin to this guy, I can actually tap into now. I just need to perfect it. I can actually sing parts in my head voice dat I normanlly would have to use falsetto to hit. I can't wait to start makin the type of r&b songs I've always wanted to write and record my own voice. My main issue dat I'm tryna work out is dat ppl say dat I sound operatic at times. I can't stand dat. I've neva had any opera training. However, I do listen to Paul Robeson. So dat's probably why thinkin about it now.
+I have watched hundreds of videos on how to hit those high notes and this is the first one that has taught me anything. I got it right off! While I'm not perfect at it, I now know how it's done! The rest is practice, practice, practice. With these tools I know it won't take long. Thank you. Thank you!
@@singwelltvPlease do… I am 55 years old and was going into depression because I didn’t get it. But you explaining on how everything works opened up my understanding. I’m now back thrilled and want to continue singing. Again, thank you so much.💖

I’ve been coming on and off RUclips searching for videos that could help me polish my voice after abandoning music for almost 15yrs. And I am very proud to say my search ends tonight. I’m here to Stay!!! 📍 Great Great Teacher! Bravo! 👏🏾
Love this one. Thank you. It really made a sense. And by the way was learning this specific song on guitar and happen to fall on ur video just by coincidence u singing this song as example. Just subscribed😊
So important to do both! Fck, i have spent the last 5 years learning to sing, actually, just learning to improve vocal tone, and not understanding why i do not get better. All videos say to not sing out the nose. Say to raise the soft pallate. Say to hold the nose, and there shall be no change in sound. This is all wrong! I have no trouble with pitch, or vibrato or riffs, but my tone suck. I sound bad. And yesterday i just started doing this, adding in a little airflow through the nose, and my tone got much better. Support also got WAY easier than when just singing out of the mouth. All these other videos, do also say to use the nasal cavities etc, but when they also say the other stuff, i thought (and many others) that we should only sing out the mouth, no airflow out the nose AT ALL, but still feel a forward feeling and feel like all the cavities are being used. So i was pushing forward and up, but also holding back with my soft pallate, and people say i sang "Fine" but doing comparisons now, holy fck, i can actually sing! Almost, still do not sound nearly professional, but i can easily sing good through a mic with some compression and effects. Thank u for this video, that confirms my suspicions!
This has also been my pain for the last about 5 years and this video really gives a better understanding of that no nose, but still with nose subject! It's soo nice to see that I'm not alone struggling with this:)
So basically humming with your mouth open! I figured out how to do that as a kid but I didn't know it could actually help me sing better. 🤯 Surf Wisely.
This is it. This is the exercise. I accidentally got here twice before and have been looking at mixed voice exercises for months because I *knew* I could sound full in my high range, but I could never find it again. I have been doing 100s of exercises and watching tons of videos, but I would always either have my soft palate all the way up or all the way down. It’s silly now, but I didn’t realize it was all of one or the other. The difference was immediate and I am so grateful for this. Thank you so much! I’m still working on the balance, I sound a little Kermity or hooty if I go too far in one direction or the other, but balancing it is way less daunting than finding it. I have never seen that exercise before and it is a game changer.
So I'm a little confused, I can control the soft palate pretty well but when singing do I need to focus on keeping an equal mix of nasal cavity and mouth or keep all the sound in the mouth and none in the nasal cavity?
I’m a singer and my concern is I use falsetto to try to reach the high notes of the songs that I love to sing. I want to hit high notes using my natural voice. Thanks for your tips!❤
This is so insanely helpful! Thank you so much! I can't believe how easily I hit a note after watching this video that i was struggling with before finding this.
I understand the two voices and have practiced them but am not sure how to apply it to a song. Use soft palate for high notes and larynx for lower? A simple example breakdown would really help 🙂

I cant get what should we do on high notes. Our larynx should be neutral? And soft palate works 50/50 (oral/nasal)?
there are no strict rules. It all depends on the sound you're looking for. Most people don't know about these possibilities that I taught and that's why they suffer from high notes
