facts. Kobe would have been the all-time leading scorer had he not lost the last 3 years of his career. Throw in the other fact that he wasn't a starter until year 3 and yea, Kobe would be at the top

02-03 Kobe (when Shaq was out a lot of games with injuries) and then 05-06 Kobe were the most frightening wing players of my lifetime (I’m 33 years old). You could just see the fear on every defenders face from before the opening tipoff

FAX! Also,he was going through so much at such a young age. People ignore that and the simple fact it was between Bynum & Dwight who were the #1 center in the league at the time. There’s not enough appreciation for what Bynum gave to the game.

My favorite Kobe seasons were probably 2000-01, when he first became a consistent big time scorer, and 2012-13, when he dragged that not so super team to the playoffs, and tore his Achilles in the process.
If there were such an award in 2009, Ariza should’ve won the playoffs MVP. That’s how well he played, sensational!
Kobe addressed #8 vs. #24 in that commercial. Different animal, same beast.🤣 #8 had more raw athleticism, and #24 had more patience.
