I'm impressed by the ease and confidence you have doing it. Just throw the bolts on a full tray... No poke them in cardboard and write what it's for next to it with 30 pics... G😂😂.
Great tip prying down on the control arm. I was getting so mad because my ball joint kept spinning! I eventually tore to boot trying to clamp it with pliers. Was a bad afternoon.
Great video. I put 2 inch spacers in my 04' titan. A year later the front tires locked up and I had to replace a ton of parts. Pretty much a new front end. About $2500 dollars worth. This time I put in the Bilstien shocks that have the adjustable leveler built in, runs a ton smoother and no problems.
My philosophy when i do my kit. I'm replacing anything i disconnect while putting the kit on lol this video really helps me see what i have to look forwar too. I may do a budget lift 3 in the front 1 in the rear. Great video.
did you install the kit? 3 & 1? I'm wanting a lift but for the life of me, ca't find any good video's providing before and after. I'm concerned about the leveling. I see so many wit hthe front end a little higher then the rear. so is the 3 & ! Level? Thanks
Coming from personal experience, you don't have to remove the tie rod/ball joints or the caliper. Just take a long pry bar and stand on it on the lower control arm as you get the strut in place. Make sure you adjust your camber if you're putting a puck on top of your strut like this though. Without doing so, you WILL destroy the outside of your tires. Personally I wouldn't recommend lifting your truck this way though.
Quick question... Isn't the strut now in backwards? When using the offset spacer like that? Clearly the strut is 180 degrees rotated from where it was originally. Is this a problem?
I have a 06Nissan titan. It will shift down 2/1to.but it will not shift up or out of 4/3that what it sounds like. It will take off in drive. But it will not shift out .I changed the oil in it and filter. What do I need to do. I don't have a lot of money. I am on ssdi. 1.200.a months. I don't have no family.
I tried doing that while removing the level in order to put on coilovers and cannot get the bottom strut bolt out for the life of me. There's a ton of pressure on it. So now, I'm taking it all apart ala this dude.
tokiesgalore lots of people don't realize what a mistake it is to use WD as a lubricant. It makes a great degreaser, but makes things rust quicker. Prefer penetrating oil, then a good lubricant.
What if I put that spacer on top of my Radflo coilovers? Think it would be too tall for the UCA? I really want to squeeze 35s on my truck but I dont want to do a full 6 inch lift. 33s with a little poke are as big as I can get on there now.
You my friend like to work don't you only thing you had to do was move the sway bar in links pull the sway bar out on both sides drop the shock strut assembly put the leveling spacer on top
is it really that easy. Just install the spacer and your good to go. Do you have to purchase any new bars or have it aligned after you install it. Does it drive good on hwy. I want to put raise it 3". Let me know
Nice video but you can do it without removing the brake caliper you don't have to completely remove the strut assembly you just swing it down so you don't have to remove the bottom strut bolts
Thanks for the comment. These billet aluminum leveling kits require you to rotate the entire strut 180° so unfortunately you have to completely remove it. Leaving the caliper on creeps me out. I don't like the way it stretches the brake hose.
4 inch? Go with the 6 inch Pro Comp Lift! My '04 Titan has the 6 inch pro Comp Lift, Bilstein 5100 shocks on the front, Pro Comp MX6 shocks on the rear. Sitting on 20 inch rims with 35 x 12.50's. The wife was just about orgasmic when I pulled it out of the garage!
Do you have to disconnect the spindle from the upper ball joint to get to the 3 nuts up top of is it one of those “ 100 ways to skin a cat” thing and be able to do it without all the extra work?
Bro I put 2" on my 04 and I'm getting cbc. I was told I was safe with 2" and lower. Why is that ? Should I get bigger uca or does this mean installation was wrong ?
Won’t this put strain on other parts and break then eventually? I have some I just haven’t put them in because I’ve heard some bad things about these leveling kits.
Do you have any problem after the control arm hitting the frame after installing a levelin kit or new struts? If so, how can I fix this problem because thats the problem I am having. After my levelin kit, I got new struts installed and now my control arms are resting on the frame... not much suspension while driving off road. Any suggestions because I don't want to remove my pucks for a quick fix.
I did mine by just removing the sway bar links and you can just get it in without taking anything else off saving lots of time. Beware, your UCA's will hit coil bucket at full extension if off roading. A little grinding solves this.
so would you recommend after leveling the truck also replace the UCA's with a 2-4 inch UCA. A body of mine, who also have a titan said that no matter if you just level a titan your going to need new UCA's. How true?
TheIrongutz hi u removed only the sway bar links only ???? No caliper nothing more ? I want to add 1.5 to my Nissan Titan 2010 pro4x ...if I add 2 or 3 I will need upper arms and I don't want mess with that.... thanks

How did you not have to spin the shock to line up the bottom? The new bolt pattern on top is different because of the leveling kit which orients the bottom of the shock??
I'm installing a 2" leveling kit on my 08 Titan and I cannot get the bolts back in the bottom of the strut. I noticed that in your video the strut is rotated 180° when you reinstall and I did the same with mine but the bolt will not go back in once the 3 top bolts are through. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
