Offset is BAD for your truck...looks cool and gives a wider wheel base then the trucks designed for sometimes it’s necessary while lifting a vehicle because the wheels will rub on the inner edge of the wheel well or even on the brake lines!! Don’t give out miss information man!!

    The big mud tires certainly made a difference looks way better. Nice video... Nice Titan, your MPH speed reading is going to be off from now on and your gonna use more fuel plus you cant carry anything heavy
    Without your tires rubbing but at least your happy with how it looks and its offroading performance. Mine has a 6inch lift CST suspension and it was already done when i got it i carried a ton of gravel the other day still had clearance from tires to bed and driving was really smooth. I got it with bald 33" mickey thompson mud terrians on 22" fuel rims.
    I recently bought a set of Toyo open country mud terrian new tires 33x12.50R22 it was $1800 plus $200 installed its expensive like you said and i quickly noticed my speed meter now is off by 5-7 mph reading lower on my truck but higher on radars and google maps im using way more gas also and im hearing the humming on the freeway from beefy thread. But i still love how it looks and even in 2wd i can make it through steep hills i couldn't before.

    It’s looking good! My opinion; cut that rear fender a little higher. I think it will balance the look a little better and you’ll need more clearance than that for wheeling. Also, go get some black door seal molding from Lowe’s/Home Depot and put on all your cut edges. Will give it a finished look and keep your kids from slicing off a hand... I know you got more to come still. I recommend building a new front wheel well. Good Job!

  • @samfoote9630
    @samfoote9630 3 года назад

    Lol I would normally ask why, but this is Built. Best way to put on a big tire(military 32s)is barely have it off the ground and use your feet on each side while sitting and pry it up it one motion(same technique to slowly spin to line lugs holes) . Or 2nd method on mud/newer chevy 22s have the hub stomach high, Wheel against your knees, spokes out. Grab the bottom spokes, leverage off your thighs and stand up as it flips around in one motion and rest on the disk, you'll get good and hit the lugs dead on.

  • @danielmagalhaes5739

    Man, that pick up turn up good, but be careful about 2 things. the shocks and bearings, they will be over soon because of the weight of that tires, so maybe you should upgrade, the second one is, on rainy days you be drifting a lot! that kind of tires they don´t handling very well on wet road. keep up!

  • @pjazcg
    @pjazcg 3 года назад

    Next time you can use a long breaker bar or a jack pole to lift those heavy tires. Just put breaker bar underneath the rotor and roll your tire onto breaker bar and just lift to adjust. Less struggle and pain, but nice truck.

    Lovely Dirt Dragon you’ve made there. I have a 2007 Titan and was contemplating how far I need to go to modify it to keep a low center of mass but fit at least 35’s-37’s on it. Right now it’s sitting on 33” Treadwright Axioms with 2” of lift from Bilsteins up front. I want to add 2” more on the front to achieve a slight back rake, and keep the rear at stock height. I’m missing the look and off-road performance of the Treadwright Guard Dogs I used to have; wish they still made those. I’m thinking I may need to modify the bed/wheel wells to get the full articulation.

    I have used remould tires before within 100 miles one blew out nearly blowing a front fender off, the problem with these types of tires is that if they are not manufactured correctly and the bonding of the new tread to the old casing is not a 100% the delamination takes place and the tread come off the tire when they get hot, so I would not use these on the freeway, for mud use yes no problem.
    From all the problems and cutting that you did a lift kit for the truck would not have taken more work, it would have added extra clearance as the truck currently will still catch on the sheet metal during axle articulation.

    #Builtofficial For future reference? Advice from the trucker. Use a long crowbar under the tire. 🤣 makes it a whole lot easier. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Also being that the tires are recaps make you keep an eye on them for any separations especially when it starts getting hot in the summer. I know you’ve seen the big af strips of tires AKA Gators on the interstate. 9 times out of 10 those are also recaps. You REALLY don’t want and especially on the front. Very very dangerous. That’s why any trucker with any sense never puts them on the front.

    • @Lumpygrits76
      @Lumpygrits76 3 года назад

      Things to watch for on recaps. You can see a lip of rubber on the sidewall just below the tread. And it could be on the inside or outside or both. Try to not take too long road trips that are interstate speeds if you can help it and they might last for a while. Highway/interstate speeds whichever side blows and your going that direction and can easily roll it.
