The Carlock adapter allows you to install it wherever you can tap into a constant +12v and ground. Use your imagination. If you ut it into the OBD2 port then that is pointless.
Get the free software upgrade to lock out the RF Module. Prevents making any new key fobs beyond the ones you already have, even by the dealer. That stolen programming device the theives carry becomes useless. That Faraday bag is a must to help prevent repeater attacks.
Back in the 80s and early 90s Ace made what was called steering wheel column locks there was absolutely no way to turn the wheel and no way to cut the lock a very simple device that needs to come back for modern vehicles.
For most of the OBD2 port items, the MOPAR UConnect system will do these things for about $12 a month, if you sign up for the subscription after the trial period ends. Get the Gold Plan if you can afford it. There will be no chance of an OBD2 device being removed if there isn't one there. It's likely that a combination of steps is the best approach, even if you own a lowly R/T. Use of a trunk mounted kill switch, or an engine compartment switch, but both can be defeated. Use a club on top of that but find one that makes the airbag removal impossible. I also use the RFID blocker in my house and in my pocket. I bought both the RFID Faraday box, a nicely wood-paneled one that looks like a cigar humidor, and two Faraday bags to put both fobs into, and I carry one with me at all times, in case some dickhead is following me.
UCONNECT is garbage. They didn’t find my stolen 2021 Redeye for 18 months

Speaking from first hand experience, the Un-Connect tracking is absolutely garbage. I have reason to suspect that the stolen vehicle packages were not intended but side effects of having GPS based radio and or 3G/4G radios onboard for OTAR. My Hellcat was stolen off the dealership lot on night and over the course of 4 weeks was presumably driven all over KC and Uconnect did not get one ping. When it was recovered, the 8.4 was still in the functioning so yes...100% trash.

I recommend Ravelco to physically disable a vehicle without the Ravelco key - and the new Ring (door camera) car alarm that will notify you if someone tampers with your vehicle in any way and records all video to the cloud ☁️
So having 5 separate kill switches, 2 car alarms(1 factory and 1 custom) with the custom one having a seperate power source and hidden away, also removing the steering wheel, would this be a good detterent? What abt adding a fuel cutoff aswell in case they bypass the kill switches? What abt a mad max style code unlocker? This is for a 80s classic car

Thank you for this video. I have pretty much everything you described here and more. Neutral strap cover with security screws, Ravelco, Viper DS4 with an additional horn and GSP and a trunk release disconnect (harder to disconnect the loud alarm sirens), Carlock, the Club, brake pedal lock, Wheel boot lock, Apple AirTags, Shield GPS (came with car), Uconnect (will cancel soon since I have GPS overkill), faraday bags, and tinted my windows so everything will come as a surprise if they do break in. Of course, if they want it bad enough, they will take it but like you said, you want to make it as hard and as time consuming as possible. :-D

I recommend Spy Spot 4G Hard Wire Kill Switch GPS Vehicle Tracker - Remotely Disable The Ignition from Any Location - Locator Tracking Device but there’s a subscription service cost for it but it worth it. It better than alarm that just makes noise. My truck was taken I received a text message saying that it engine was on and left the area . I remotely killed the engine. I was able to recover it immediately. This device has a internal GPS tracking system and remote control kill switch access with your smartphone.

Got a Faraday box for my Charger and the wife's Camaro. Didn't matter. They don't need the fob signal. As I understand it, they made the car think their tablet was a fob.

Farady bag only works about a month then it does not work any longer
Don't ever use a battery kill switch you will have to reset your Uconnect each time you start your car.
IGLA system imo is the better solution. Good luck finding a dealer that sells and installs it. You may have to make a trip.
About the Apple air tag. Does it let you know if there’s another one ? If so doesn’t that mean it lets them know you have one 🤔

You guys don’t know what you’re talking about when it comes to the fob bc it definitely works! They need a signal to get your signal outside the fob

That not true I had one my car was just stolen. I used to believe that to but it can be bypassed. A hidden gps tracker is the best counter.
