Tried to steal my Charger RT the other night. Broke back window and pulled star hub out but did not succeed. Question: have you noticed any battery drain from the hardwire setup?

When the car is moving, it’s every 15 seconds and provides a “snail trail” to show you everywhere the car has gone. When the car is off, it updates every 4 minutes.

That's a pretty low cost alternative to to IGLA pincode system. Is the only way to enable and disable the kill switch the app? Or, is there a remote control or physical switch? Does the app depend on. Bluetooth connection to enable and disable the kill switch, or can the app also use the cellular connection? Is there an iWatch version of the app?
Does the system include any kind of notification alarm, so that you know if you car has been moved? Otherwise, you'd only know if there was a problem when you discovered that your car is physically gone.
One addition to that system would be a physical fake kill switch installed in an easy to find location. The fake kill switch would active ate extremely loud sirens inside and outside the car, locked on for many minutes, and powered by an independent battery, so that disconnecting the main car battery would not silence the sirens. Strobe lights could be added to draw even more attention to the car if the criminal is attempting to steal the car at night.
AirTags could be used as a backup tracking system. There's a RUclips video that shows how to remove the AirTag speaker, which would make it dramatically more difficult for the criminal to quickly find and disable the AirTags.
All great questions! The only way to disable or enable the kill switch for this unit is through our app but you can also have your installer add a manual kill switch through a physical switch. The app depends on data and we use a rolling sim so any of the major carriers work through our sim cards. The notification is customizable and you can add notifications yourself, whether it is to alert you when the vehicle does not have power, speed alerts, or if the vehicle is moving with the ignition off.

I bought the same unit as you have and can’t get any info about the wiring for it to get my stereo/remote starter tech to install for me and the service tech at track hawk said he doesn’t recommend that it be used on a push button start car. Which my 2018 challenger hellcat is. Can you possibly post info as to which color wires were used by your installation tech ? Or post a link to a video of it being wired up ? I bought it because I liked the way it performed on your car but no luck getting it installed and zero support from the factory tech.

I am curious which tech told you this will not work. The most popular vehicles we have these installed on are push to start. The starter kill wire in that vehicle is a is a light blue/tan wire at the BCM inside a black 24 pin plug, pin 19. When hooking the relay up through the bcm its on that specific vehicle its different but here is typically what we do:
Yellow - Connect to yellow on the tracker harness.
White - Constant 12V. Can be the same 12V as the red on the harness but does not have to be.
Green - Splits the starter kill wire. One green goes to one side and the other green goes to the other.

So I wired up mine to the fuse box following the video that track hawk has i’m having an issue with it only working with my black key when I use the red key and I enable the Killswitch, it still turns it on but when I have the black key, it won’t turn on unless I disable the switch

The app does open when you do not have service. We have had a very good uptime. We use a rolling sim so we catch all the major providors as well as local providors to have maximum coverage.

Question. My cars are parked usually from October until April or May. Is it possible to turn it off and on?
You can operate the KillSwitch via the app but it does not control the actual engine start stop. For that, you’d need to use your respective OEM app like unconnect, onstar, etc etc that allows you to remotely start and stop you vehicles engine along with their lock and unlock features etc etc
I tried installing the lte gps killswitch unit on my 2020 durango r/t i got everything wired up but i can’t seem to find where to put the orange “ACC ON” wire i tried plugging it into what i thought was a grey & white wire from a video another guy did but the car was still turning on even after i sent the command to enable the killswitch. If anyone or @trackhawkgps can help me figure out which wire to connect it to that would be great

I feel like these devices should work with a proprietary remote that doesn’t rely on cell service of any sort.
Phones can die or get lost , Iv never loved relying on more tech in order to make one thing work . An old school remote would be good. Like a fob sized remote and that’s it

If the car is off, and then you send the kill command, the car will not start
If the car is on/running, and you send the kill command, the car will run until it is turned off, then it will not start again.
So which kill switch is this? Fuel or starter or battery
This kill switch is incredibly versatile. You can hook it up to the fuel pump, starter, or battery. It depends on how you want it set up but all three will work perfectly.

We use a rolling sim so we cover the majority of the world and pickup local carriers as needed. The majority of areas are covered by either T-Mobile or AT&T and we use both. If there is absolutely no service and you are unable to get data you can call our line and we can have one of our support techs to check on the status of the network in your area.
What happens if they disconnect the battery on the car will the GPS be still activated? Just a question I have.
Great question! The device has a backup battery that can last for 6-8 hours that is built into it.
What you need is a slow blow fuse that you can reset. Car will start and run 10 seconds. The fuse will blow and car will die. the fuse will be blown. Just have to press the reset button and flip the switch. this will disactivate it then it’ll start again something I’ve had for the last 40 years
