      @austinlogan387 no hate on the Mustang, but Dodge split their muscle car sales through the Challenger, Charger, Durango, TRX, Trackhawk, Chrysler 300, and even the Wrangler 392. They made a muscle car for everyone.

      Dodge and Plymouth have dominated the muscle car market and drag strips since 1962 beginning with the Max Wedge cars, Gen II Hemis, Vipers, SRT/10's TRX's and eventually the TrackHawks, Hellcats and Demons.

      That is what I liked about it. His giggling every time he pressed the throttle. I'll never own one, but the fact that it exists is enough for me. Shame that some of these will be garage queens and never allowed to stretch their legs or even see a 1/4 mile track.

    Tim is definitely the Car Guy's CEO. It was also cool watching Jay chuckle like a little kid every time he mashed on the throttle. He's probably trying to decide whether to spec his out with the passenger seat for his wife or not lol...!! Either way, what an absolute animal. Kudos to Tim and his talented team at Dodge.

    Absolutely mind boggling that this is a production car. I've never been a huge Dodge fan, but they have 100% of my respect after this achievement. They didn't just improve a few things, they innovated the hell out of this thing. Unreal.

    I remember buying my 93’ Mustang Foxbody 5.0 and for the time it was a Beast with under 300hp, my first V8 speed demon! Now they speak of 1000+ Horsepower just blows my mind! I think of my 5.0 blasting out the hole in 1st gear pinning you to your seat, screaming through 2nd gear smoke everywhere with taste of burnt rubber on your tongue, and still screeching when you hit 3rd gear at 100+ mph! God, those where the BEST of times! I can ONLY imagine what a dream it is to get to drive this ICONIC “DEMON”! Way to go Mopar, you consistently blow our minds with the innovation!#Dodge#Demon#😈

    Definitely a good final way to go out for the challenger always liked how instead of going lighter and sportier dodge just says add more power and make it stronger to handle it. Doesn't get much more muscle than that.

    I haven't seen Jay smile so much from pushing down on the accelerator in a long time, what a torque monster, way to go Dodge. I know that the times are changing with the internal combustion engine demise in the near future, but thanks Dodge for going out with one hell of a muscle car. BTW Jay next time make sure that you put on the 5 point harness... Stay safe.

    That little giggle when Jay steps on it from a stop is GENUINE PLEASURE on his part. My ‘73 Challenger (340) kind of gave me a similar reaction but by comparison it was NOTHING compared to the current Challengers. Fun at the time and if I had my hands on this car at 18 years old, I most certainly would NOT HAVE SURVIVED. I would have gone out with a huge grin tho’ !!!

    That's one car that I wish I could afford to buy as I'm a 60 year old man and on a very low fixed I. Jay Leno I love your beautiful car collection it is truly an amazing collection.

      Me too... As far as limited income, that is. I'm 82 years old. The closest thing to a muscle car I had was a 1967 Oldsmobile 442 racing green convertible with white leather upholstery. Bought it in New Hampshire, drove it to San Jose and sold it at a considerable profit. Should never have sold it. It's be priceless now.
