Love the format of this video. Marcus is the GOAT for fitness content & one of the nicest duds in fitness. Super happy to see you boys spending time with him & getting his message to your audience
Thank you Marcus for sharing your story about dealing with body dysmorphia. I have a similar story as a former soccer player who put on a little weight when I switched to playing club ball in college. My buddies were very quick to give me crap about the extra weight, which I in turn decided to fix with a couple of eating disorders, and I battled body dysmorphia into my 40’s. I’m turning 50 this year and know I’m in great shape, but I still let the voices creep in from time to time, but it helps to hear guys like you openly talk about it. Keep doing the great work.
Cool video! Still worth saying.. training for the CrossFit games is different than the magic that’s happening in local affiliates for an hour a day. Everyone poopoos intensity nowadays but the baptism after a wod and camaraderie is unmatched
The mental portion that you were talking about towards the end is incredibly important. That got me through some of the tough times I faced in my treatments in a way that nothing else could.
Clearly there was a lot of humor implied, but it shows exactly why so many people get injured with CrossFit, too much emphasis on lifting fast and heavy with the endless pursuit of PRs. Slow and controlled is the best recipe for increasing in size and strength, especially as you get older
All of them are tools. I believe CrossFit teaches technique before intensity, but often our egos get ahead of ourselves and we forget that. Just trying to add more arrows to our quivers.
Machines have their place, but often times we get caught up in only going fast and intensity instead of learning all methods of training and incorporating different techniques to improve and, constantly vary.
Great video with so much info. Hope you take Craig and Jazz on that trip. They need it to recharge there channel. More crossfit and less garage gym stuff. Also carnivore covers 2 pillars. I am out!
@@ButteryBros1don’t listen to him. You guys do well not being political and interviewing people from all kind of sports. People just gotta be negative for some reason. You already cover body building, do Ironman and marathons, you’ve had wrestlers, and all kinds of influencers on your episodes.
Been doing FBB for a year now, and 2024 was the first year since the pandemic that I didn’t have a training related injury. Thanks Marcus!!

We agree. That’s why Heber brings it up in toward the end. Love a good old CrossFit class but we can learn from everyone.
Love Marcus Filly! I’ve been doing the 50g before 10am a few months now.. game changer to my training.. great vid, as usual..
Great to hear!

Marcus' programming is great. Recommend it!
FBB programming is solid. The 3x a week pump program has some legit stuff coming up at the start of the year.

Was looking for this comment.
did he get to keep that money form Dollar Shave?
So CrossFit is kinda bs right? At best a very incomplete methodology and machines have their place in exercise health.

Is the whole video gonna be just one big skit?
Hahaha
First half has a lot of scripted stuff. Second half just a few dudes having a conversation about life.
@ButteryBros1 all is good..keep doing you guys
Smooth like buddah
You already know
The scripting in this video (at least the first 3:30 so far) is pretty corny.
who brought the fake weights?
Closer to the barbell then the metal plates 😂

Everyone has different fitness journeys.
Really disappointed with the direction your ad at the outset went, I shut off the video 😔
Relax
Same that was weird
Yeah too weird
Do like every one else, skipper the ads....
You’re crowd is very conservative and very political maybe lean into that to stay relevant. CrossFit is dying bros.
Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not very conservative and I'm their crowd. Don't speak for me, thanks.
