I bought the American Barbell Chewy powerbar on Black Friday and I must say it is absolutely the BEST bar I have ever held and used. The knurling is perfect for me. It feel fantastic. it’s ROUGH, DEEP, and feels soooooooo good to use.
I have a Rogue stainless steel Olympic bar and the knurling is similar to a higher grit sandpaper and I also have a fringe sport Olympic bar that doesn’t feel very good to hold. It’s almost slippery.
I highly suggest the chewy if you’re looking for an aggressive bar that will last a lifetime.

I'm piecing together a custom rack from the vesta 2 in 1 with pieces from rep, BoS, and fringe. I have to say, the packaging and details like welds and powder coat on rep are next level. You don't need to spend rep/rogue prices, but there is a reason why their prices are what they are.

I really liked my Torque Fitness Half Rack. After getting rid of it to get a Rep Rack, I do have to say that the Torque one seemed a lot heavier and more substantial. I'm not sure why, though. I tried to look up what gauge of steel Torque uses and they say they use 11 gauge steel, which is the same as Rep's racks. Rep's uprights just felt light in comparison. It could have to do with the paint on the Torque rack which was almost like a Rhino lining. However, I didn't like their square hole design because that meant it wouldn't fit the world of 1" round hole attachments.

The slinger was somewhat promising but not allowing you to fully adjust the cables on the upright was a total loss for Rogue. Was this a paid ad for Kabuki? Why no mention of Bells of Steel and other budget brands

Must've missed that, I feel you guys should've been one of the main companies featured, since you're actually affordable unlike Kabuki

Can you review the “humancar?” It’s a car powered by rowing machine. Technically you could park it in a garage gym 😅

Super disappointed that American Barbell does not ship to CA. Really wanted the Chewy Bar. When reaching out to them they said it's something they are "working on" but its been over a month and I still cant checkout my order.

Why don't they ship to CA? That seems really odd.

@TonyNovation super odd, considering they are originally from CA and their site says they ship to the 48 continuous states. They never gave an explanation of why.

Only 2 out of the 4 kettlebells Rogue sells are made in the USA. If it has stripes on the horn, it is foreign made.

I will never understand why racks with 1" holes and 2" spacing are preferred over 5/8" holes with 1" spacing. I have had both and much prefer the Westside spacing you can get with 5/8 holes.

Great recommendation on the Kabuki bar. They haven't produced it in months.
