I would love for you to tackle the “following bust” illusion from the haunted mansion! I already know how the illusion works but I run a Phantom Manor Haunt for Halloween and I would love a in-depth tutorial to show me how I could achieve this effect properly for my haunt!
Too complicated for me to do, but super cool and creative. I love how you transformed the bust’s face using the bakeable clay thing, it would be cool if you can do a video to show us step by step how you actually reshaped and resculpted the face, never knew that was possible. Thanks!
Trust me when I say this, I LOVE all your stuff. The only thing I would suggest for this, to try and hide the edge of the mirrors, is maybe placing a long stemmed candlestick on the mirrors edge to mask it? Just a thought.
I agree with you coasterbp, however in person it is less apparent. My original prop had the bust recessed in a tombstone which allowed me to place dead vines hanging down with one hiding the mirror edge.

Thanks for asking Alexander crane. The bust I used was a hallow plaster of paris bust that I found at a hobby shop several years ago. Your best bet are online display, craft and home decor companies searching under Styrofoam, Plaster and Resin as the material and then Busts, Heads or Torsos. Make sure to check their overall dimension before buying since some are quite small despite how they may look in the photo!.

So this is how they did it in the Figment ride in Epcot with the butterfly
