Fun fact. All of Jacksonville’s losses were to the titans that year. Jags were 14-2 the titans were 13-3 in regular season. A week before this game the jags beat Dan Marino and the Dolphins 62-7.

Jags in 97 and 98 probably didn't get the credit they deserved because of their AFC title game run in 96. They steadily improved as a franchise, peaking under Coughlin in 99. If not for Morten Andersen missing a chipshot, we'd look back on how the Jags improved every single year from their inception to that first half in the 99 AFC title game. But they haven't been the same since that 2nd half.

    • @chrisbeach423

Tennessee owned the Jags in 99, Jags was 15-0 against everyone and 0-3 against the Titans, i also fogot the Jags made the 96 AFC Championship.. Yall had a great team years back when yall made the AFC Championship against the Pats. Yall had Bortles at QB and almost made a super bowl. The next year yall imploded.
