It can be unethical because of how easy and accessible it's becoming. People weren't willing to put hours into learning Photoshop but people will be the few seconds into this kind of stuff.

How you use modified photos could be unethical. However, we're not talking about use but rather AI as a tool. As @BojanTomic said, tools to creatively enhance photos have been around since the 80s. Photoshop is also not unethical, but people have used it in an unethical manner.

@@IDTR That is correct, Google AI models used for Pixel are proprietary and need G3s NPU and Googles Cloud servers. They are more advanced and more accurate

Good comparison. Great to see that Pixel is still doing well even though it doesn't have SD Gen 3 or equivalent processor. Also, it would have been better if you had kept summary of all the comparisons at the end.
Actually the opposite is surprising. But that would probably not last for long. Google is basically an AI company now and it would be not a long way before we see all of Google's advancements on their mobile devices
The pixel is slightly better at all categories while at the same time is also offering these features for free. Samsung is giving these features for free for only 2 years. The idea of paying for smart features on a smartphone is dumb in my opinion

Also, many countries don't have Pixel's call screening so Samsung is better in providing services globally. The notes app is also impressive.
With the spelling and grammar section, on the Pixel you can fix it in one shot when you hit the punctuation and then the space bar. It comes up with a "Fix it" button and fixes the whole thing.
Great work! Always watching your well documented videos. The Pixel's screen looks so much better. I am not sure why people say that Samsung is the best. That white looks blueish and transparent. Deal breaker.
Picked the 24 ultra as in my country the 8 pro is extremely close to the 24 ultras price point at which 24 ultra is a better buy. However in the US, P8P is significantly cheaper and I can see why people pick that instead.

@@IDTRan article from 9to5google(if I remember correctly,)stated that the update coming in February will include A.I features in keep notes, Google home, RUclips (world wide release)and other apps.
Thank you! I had the very first Samsung note and then several other editions afterwards. But then I made the switch to pixel and I have to say that I use the speech to text in gboard and find it so much more useful than scribbling notes on my phone. I can do it when walking down the road without having to stop. I think this is a very overlooked feature and one of my favourite things about the Pixel.
Long time pixel user here. Currently on the pixel 8 Pro. The only feature I know of that requires it being uploaded to the cloud is video boost which isn't really an AI feature. And I can't really say with 100% certainty that there aren't other features that require an upload to Google photos because all of mine get uploaded to Google photo so I wouldn't really know the difference. But even if you had to upload it, you could do your changes and then delete it off of Google photos
Isnt the SGS24U supposed to be based on Googles Ai? When will samsung update the Ai or should i say when will google help them with the update because S24U working on android will always be at a handicap software wise.
Finally, a true comparison where Pixels can be recognized for their true value. Now people will understand why Pixels didn't need the most powerful chip on paper to achieve what they have to do. The only phone that has been truly up-to-date since well before the era of AI. I never understood the point of selling excess power every year when all we need is a phone that works well and can adapt to its user, not the other way around. This marketing that everyone loves to fall for.
Thanks once again Emad. I am definitely a Google Fan, (I have the 6 Pro) and am very pleased to see Google holding their own. To be as candid as possible, I must admit I like Samsungs Hardware, preferring square corners to the rounded corners. I'm hoping Google will follow suit in their future Phones. Its sad the pixel now has better color then the samsung lol. But I hope the uodate samsung is gonna do truely does help it. I hope they do it on the s23 ultra also because that phone also didnt do much when you change to vivid! It was way less color then the s22 ultra. I want all of them to be as colorful as the s22 ultra or I may just go buy an s22 ultra coming from an s23 ultra haha.
Samsung is completely outclassed here. After all they are up against one of the most sophisticated Ai companies in the world so such results are not surprising. Google is going big in AI for their phones this year so this might be the last time these devices are remotely comparable. I just hope the Google's AI tech would be available for all android devices. Either way they win.
Many are region-locked on the Pixel. Also, Samsung only has them on the S24U, though the S23U will get them in Q2-Q3/2024. So both are the same as the Pixel 9 will be Google's 2024 phone, as is the S24U.
My opinion is: 1. they are going too heavy ono the AI features 2. they should make the AI completely detached from the "standard actions I can make", the risk is adding a bunch of buttons everywhere even though you are not interested in clicking them 3. not all the features are useful for real, they are cool yes, a lot cool, but will you ever use them? probably not all at least
You missed out when someone ring you in Arabic it can translate in real time to other languages. On pixel has Call screen, also translate in other languages also.
Chatting-Comparison is not really good. Magic Compose is just inside google messages, the ai-features on the samsung-devices inside the keyboard are useable in every app.

Thank you for the video. What I am interested in knowing is for pixel owners, how important is the call screening function, and is it important enough to not switch to another phone.
I like this comparison demo it show Google Pixel 8 Pro is still in the game except being disadvantages with the Live translation Ai utility. 😎💯💪🏿👍🏿
You missed call screen features?
You forgot to mention the "proofread" feature for the Pixel using Gboard in the typing category. You press one button and it auto corrects all your grammar and spelling
can you pls tell me how to use it
@@M.Adhnaanthere's a button that appears when you highlight text that looks like a capital A with a checkmark next to it, tap that and it will proofread what you selected. it's only on pixel 8 series btw
I don't have this one, but I heard about it, does it work in all apps?
@IDTR Yes it works in all apps just click the proofread icon in the keyboard after you typed the sentence.
this is mentioned on launcher of p8.@@IDTR
Hi and thanks, very useful review
AI in Google Keep is in development or rather hidden and locked server-side, but worked for a while and very good.

عرفت ان اسمك باش مهندس عماد
عندي سؤال ليك
انا عايز اجيب موبايل متطور يعيش معايا ٥ سنين
ايه رايك بين الاتنين دول
S24 ULTRA

Pixel 8 pro

You forgot to revise Bixby Custom Voice. It is a silly feature but very cool as you can train your own AI model. Now Bixby talks in my voice.
10:10 Gboard can do it all at once too, if you press the button to the left of the suggestions there is a button that is an A✔️ and by pressing it you get multiple options on how to correct the spelling and grammar all at once.
Also, you can clearly see the magic composed button on The s24 ultra as well but he doesn't mention it lol. One thing guys that you can also do is you can switch to Gboard on the s24 ultra and get all of the same features you're getting on your Pixel device
Desperately waited for this one.
Good job on covering all of this. But am I the only one that doesn't care about most of this stuff? The only thing out of all of this that I like and would use is the circle to search. I am looking forward to getting that one on my Pixel 8.
Such a nice comparison ❤
Watching from Pixel 8 pro 👀
This video really needs more views
Im genuinely impressed by both devices
How Samsung notes is better than keep is crazy
This comparison is focused on AI and Keep Notes doesn't have any just yet
@@IDTRan article from 9to5google(if I remember correctly,)stated that the update coming in February will include A.I features in keep notes, Google home, RUclips (world wide release)and other apps.
10:07 wrong. There's a check writing option on gboard that will let you correct mistakes on sentences. It looks like an A with a checkmark.
Great video! How does speech to text compare in Gboard on them?
Google takes this one. It's more accurate, and you can edit text with your voice too, which is not a possibility on the Samsung.
Something like Samsung's Writing style (device-wife) and Grammar correction can be gotten on third party keyboards like Microsoft SwiftKey.
Do the Pixel's generative tools work on the photos in gallery or I have to sync them to Google photos in other to apply the effects?
Dang. Some of the features in samsung are honestly more practical. Im still waiting for the day when i can create stickers from photos on the pixel..
Pixel is ok now, won't be the case 5-7 yrs from now. Adding more horsepower now is for future proofing.
(Hardware Only)
Have a great weekend ✨

Love your videos man
What about voice typing?
I did a comparison about that a long time ago, and nothing has changed since then. The win goes to the Pixel for this one
شغلك حلو و افكارك جديدة
عاش فشخ
Did you get the pixel january drop uodate?
Samsung is completely outclassed here. After all they are up against one of the most sophisticated Ai companies in the world so such results are not surprising. Google is going big in AI for their phones this year so this might be the last time these devices are remotely comparable. I just hope the Google's AI tech would be available for all android devices. Either way they win.
So all these new features are only for pixel 8 series cause I'm using 7pro and I haven't received any of these updates
Shamefully discriminating.. ain't so
Shamefully many of these ai feature are not available for normal 8 either
They are, you just hating lol. Pixel 8 doesnt have Video Boost. Thats it!@@MohamedAbdelrazek-g6i
Many are region-locked on the Pixel. Also, Samsung only has them on the S24U, though the S23U will get them in Q2-Q3/2024. So both are the same as the Pixel 9 will be Google's 2024 phone, as is the S24U.
Microsoft SwiftKey Keyboard provides similar (but limited)of the features even in iOS
We want Pixel8/8pro astrophotography video...
Do you need the photo to be in the cloud on s24 like on pixel?
My opinion is:
1. they are going too heavy ono the AI features
2. they should make the AI completely detached from the "standard actions I can make", the risk is adding a bunch of buttons everywhere even though you are not interested in clicking them
3. not all the features are useful for real, they are cool yes, a lot cool, but will you ever use them? probably not all at least
If google see this vid or get their hands on the S24 ultra and give update on some missing features that s24 ultra have it would be perfect
I love my pixel
Did you face any problem with the singl abd networks
My area has a strong signal, not the best person to ask for this
You missed out when someone ring you in Arabic it can translate in real time to other languages. On pixel has Call screen, also translate in other languages also.
Chatting-Comparison is not really good. Magic Compose is just inside google messages, the ai-features on the samsung-devices inside the keyboard are useable in every app.
Samsung s24 ❌
Google pixel 8 pro ✅
If I'm not mistaken this comparison is a bit odd because it's googles ai no matter which way you slice it right ?
man, you really can't win on ai against google
