  • Hi everyone. This is THE Android battle. The Galaxy S24 Ultra vs The Pixel 8 Pro. Two of the best Android phones on the market right now. The Pixel 8 Pro costs $999 while the S24 Ultra costs $1300 before tax. But will that price difference be an advantage for Google? or a disadvantage for Samsung? Let's find out

Nice comparison. Its all about what you want to have. If you want all of the bells and whistles for Android OS, S23 or S24 Ultra. If you prefer Android but don't need all of the functionality of an Ultra, you have the Pixel 8 Pro, One Plus 12, as a great option. If you prefer iOS , obviously your choice is the 14 or 15 Pro series. No need to get in your feelings because a RUclips reviewer has a different opinion than yours. Leave the battling to the companies in hopes that the competition drives for better products for us consumers! Its a win for us ....Samsung Knights, Google Pixel Gangsters and Apple Mafia 😂

I got my Pixel 8 Pro brand new a few weeks ago for 600 bucks. I could not be happier with this phone specially for the price I got it. I was dancing around an S24 Ultra, but the Pixel 8 Pro showed up in the marketplace and could not let it go. It's been an amazing phone.

I wanted to buy a Pixel but.... went with s23 ultra. It was the same price.
    1. There are no official dealers in my country. It's hard to claim the warranty.
    2. I prioritize the battery life.
    3. I don't care about the front camera color profile, I always do some edits before uploading to social media. Samsung photo app has the "remaster feature", which makes good photos better.
    4. I couldn't find any direct alternative to the "Secure folder" on Pixels. "Safe folder" is just a part of the file manager. I can't clone apps and it doesn't encrypt data.
    5. The AI features are coming to S23 ultra so, that's fine.
    6. There are lot more one-handed and multi-tasking features on OneUI over pixel.

    Thank you for your video!
We recently traded in our iPhone 12s for two iPhone 15 Pro's. The battery lives were horrendous, even after shutting down Bluetooth, background apps, etc. We swapped our iPhone 15 Pro's for two iPhone 15 Pro Max's. The battery lives increased dramatically, at least 2X. However, there is something wrong with the call quality and reception. Therefore, I intend to return the iPhones and pick up either two Samsung S24 Ultra's or two Google Pixel 8 Pro's.
I read that the Google Pixel 8 Pro had network issues - dropping off or not connecting at all. Samsung allegedly has issues with Data Connectivity as well, especially when crossing from the US to Canada. In addition, people cautioned you about micro scratches on the screen and charging issues that are only resolved if you use Samsung chargers and cables.
We use Nikon cameras to take photos and and Canon for videos. We really do not depend on a phone for photography or video. We are more interested in call quality and reception, access to email, messages, internet searches, and security.
What is your recommendation? Has Google and Samsung resolved the aforementioned issues?
    Thank you.
    JP

I've had no issues with the pixel 8 pro. It has been very solid. The only negative is the average battery life. It's fine, just not ground breaking. Personally i still can't stand Samsungs one UI.

I feel like most people dont really care about which one is the better "value for money" over which one is just simply better in general. 9/10 if you have $1,000 to blow on a smartphone then you probably wont be too opposed to spending an extra $300...I feel like by you focusing solely on which one is "the better value for money", instead of which one is overall better like most youtubers do, its your way of giving a huge edge too the Pixel in order to keep it in the fight since everyone knows the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra blows it out of the water.

I literally say if you want the best of the best, get the s24U. I gave both phones a fair comparison

Everyone has their own priorities in terms of technology as to why they purchase a device. Money value does matter to some so just because that's not your priority, get out of your feelings as a Samsung Knight and just enjoy your device.

The display on the s24 ultra is far superior.....bigger, symmetrical, causes for less eye strain.....video is far better on s24 ultra...far better.....camera pixel edges out by a bit....battery far better on s24 ultra.....plus faster charging......

No comparison. Pixel is the only true android phone. Samsung is a dogs breakfast.

Shutter lag? I have a pixel 8 pro and have not experienced any shutter lag at all

The pixel 8 pro 100% has shutter lag. Maybe you're mistaken it for something else
