I did too! went from note 9 to galaxy s24 ultra love it! but having a problem getting a full screen when watching my directtv app and streaming. Do any one have suggestions are you experiencing the same thing? Also it was in full screen when I bought it only a month old😢

Here's how I see upgrading at the moment, S23 users don't upgrade waste of money, S22 series users don't upgrade it's not quite time yet, S21 series users only upgrade if you want to or your battery sucks, S20 or older upgrade
The battery life sucked on the S22U though.

I was going to buy s23 Ultra last month because it is so similar and looks more premium with the curved screen. It is also better for gesture navigation. And 10x zoom.
But I ended up buying S24 Ultra because I was getting a deal, where it would only be around $180 more expensive. But overall, I liked it. The 5x zoom is now my favourite for portraits.
Also love the idea of 7 years updates. My last phone was Poco F1, and I used it for over 5 years and only reason I upgraded was because it fell in a waterfall, then repaired and then performance degraded in few months to the point was it was randomly turning off. And then I cracked the screen in a fall...
Phones have hit its peak, so, I think it is good idea to buy the best available, as not much updates are expected in near future. Just look at how similar S21U to S24U was.
We need better battery tech, and maybe better speakers

Thank you for this! I’m an iPhone user, but I usually have a hand me down Samsung on stand by. I want to finally move on from what I have now, and I wanted the S23 instead of the S24 because it’s cheaper. Now I know they both basically have the same functionality.
Curved display, that's why i order my S23 Ultra today.. i have been useing a curved display for 6 years, going back to a flat display feel like a downgrade especially if you watch a lot of content on YT from your phone.
I never had a problem with the curved display, right now i use a note 20 ultra, i can't belive how thinn and modern it look with that curve.

Awesome video here, and I always enjoy your content. As long as I've had the S23 Ultra, I didn't really feel compelled to jump to the S24 Ultra. That being how crazy Samsung can put out future variants almost overnight. I did find it hard to daily drive the S23U; but the more I studied many reviews on it, I'm glad it still keeps my attention as one of the best flagships out here a year later.

I have a s23 ultra 256 gb since the last 14 months, I came across a deal in the used market about the s23 ultra 512 gb which was a replaced phone from samsung untouched and has 3 months warranty left, it's final price is ₹18,000 with exchanging my s23 ultra 256 gb, is it worth, should I exchange? I only have one question.
If im only paying 100 bucks to replace a broken s23 U with a S24 U (titanium grey), is it worth it? Like its not worse than S23 is it? Its almost like a free upgrade (since I'd pay the same to replace it with s23U).
I loved my S23ultra. However (and I still have no idea how), my screen and LCD got cracked straight in the fingerprint censor like a bullet hit it. I don't even know what happened, I just picked it and it was done. Only thing I can think of is some bizarre physics occurrence from my screen protector (glass) beginning to peel off and somehow that adhesive becoming uneven caused it to implode toward the center. IDK. Anyways Verizon replacing it with s24U for free (meaning upgrade is free not the deductible).
It sort of sucks there weren't any real meaningful upgrades between the two. But if the S24U is at least marginally better, its probably worth the 7 years of upgrades right?
For $100 the upgrade is absolutely worth it!!
When the s24 series superiority kicks in is based on the software longevity. 7 years of software upgrades, wow.

Also Iam bit still confused now using S20Fe from past 3years looking to upgrade now within a month or so plz do suggest which one to go for S23 Ultra or S24 Ultra...S23 Ultra is bit cheap in price now and in my budget i can go for 512gb and also i like its form factor, curved screen, but if its worth I can stretch a bit my budget for S24Ultra too but then i will have to go for 256 that comes in my budget. I would be using till next 4years max. So do let me know guys your thoughts too so that I can finalize on one from these.❤❤

Solid video, with a clear explanation about each phone. The S24 Ultra does a few more of its AI work on the phone, rather than in the cloud, but you are right that they are both able to do much the same stuff.
Still waiting for you to try a low-budget Samsung like the A05s or A15 5G. Compare the difference with using the Premium S series. In your previous video you commented that you were down to try😂. Just a reminder🎉.

I had to return the s23 ultra a while back because of the pwm. It was giving me headaches. I have heard they have fixed it on the s24 ultra so im going to give it a try.

@@thinkofdennis164 it's pulse with modulation. The flicker rate of the screen. Some people like me are sensitive to it. Makes me sick with a headache.
Yes for me also s23 ultra has been awful. But on s24 ultra I don't have anymore problems with pwm.
on s24 its 480hz, s23 only 240, so you would be fine

I got the S24 Ultra and I miss my S23 Ultra. If I could I would exchange it. But it's at a lost now. The photos to me were better. Anyhow, I should skip a year on phones.

I will be getting the s23 ultra... idk the falt screen is a total turn off for me... idk been used to it since the s7 edge and I freaking loved it... idk why they change it or wont even sell a version with a curved design (it looks blocky and old school)

Battery life for me coming from the S23U has been night and day. I have yet to kill the S24U in a day with the same usage pattern
I have the S23 Ultra, I use lots for work photos, docs, etc and im now at the point where im chasing charging points towards the end of the day, so even after only a year - considering a S24 Ultra.

I upgrade every year because they make it cheap to do so. 110 to upgrade to my galaxy watch 6 classic. Then 240 to upgrade that to the ultra watch. Always < 500 to upgrade the phone with 512gb.

I went from NOTE20 Ultra to S24U. Wow, the S24U is amazing. I'm loving it.
And the battery?? Is it good??
The battery is good. It lasts the whole day with average use. Receiving & making calls, and social media.
The irony for me is that the new screens anti reflective properties make it far worse that the one on the S23 Ultra, less contrast and terrible washed out colours. Unbelievable move from Samsung as my S95C and S23 Ultra both have sublime screens.
The anti-glare is what I like the most. Probably will wait for the s25 and then trade-in my s23 for that to get discount 😊

My s23ultra is brighter than my s24ultra in a normal setting. Also the volume is louder kn the s23ultra
S22 ultra just got most of the AI and battery life just got better, so no need to upgrade for me atleast for me.

I saw some heating issues on S24 Ultra so is it got fixed? heating is an issue for me because when I'm not working, I play a lot of games so what should I do? should I take s23u or s24u? Yea see I went from a Samsung s23 cause I figured the iPhone would be faster in processor from my job and yes I like some things but I’m going back to android but I will say don’t let the newer stuff get you. I always do research and I never go for the newest phone like when I did try iPhone I searched and the iPhone 14 Plus was better than the 15 as they just came out and it had a cheaper price so but that being said I still like Samsung over Apple sorry but in this since I’m going back to Samsung and the I choose will be the last one for a while I have to make it worth it lol. I’m leaning toward the 24 ultra but who knows !?

I heard something about a washed up looking display on the s24 ultra?. had me on the fence on which phone to get. has it been fixed? Cause the screen on the s24 ultra looking punchy too
I own the s24U. Yes, out of the box, the display colours were washed out. However, there's a vividness setting that increases vibrancy of colours. Even with vibrancy at max setting, the oled on my wife's oneplus Nord 3 is significantly more vibrant than the samsung s24 ultra! Another thing is the grainy display when there's a grey image (like reddits grey background in reddit mode) on the screen. If these can bother you don't get the s24U. My honest opinion is save your cash and wait a few months into the s25u. Cheers!

I am a loyal samsung customer always have always will have a love for u guys phone and devices I think for the galaxy s25 ultra u should have a 50 mp go back to the 108 mp Gen4 and the 200mp and the 10mp and a 40 for the front and also have it where u can also shoot in 24mp and 12mp I just think that's what it should be

I only traded in my S23 Ultra because of that Super HDR in the gallery settings of the S24 Ultra. It brings pictures to live and when you see it you can't undo it. I don't know if that feature later came to the S23 Ultra.
