I had a Pixel 8 Pro and got an S24+. Bounced back and forth for weeks and then my Pixel 8 Pro started crapping out on day 32 of ownership so I stuck with the +. I'm so happy I did. It's great. Camera is an 8/10 in low light but I love the different modes and flexibility of the camera. The phone is so fast and the battery seriously crushes my Pixel experience. I also think the Dolby Atmos feature and how good podcasts and music sound through bluetooth on this phone compared to every other type of phone. It's a great experirence.
I agree pixel has bad hardware even though it provides the absolute best Android experience since it is completely engineered by Google. Hopefully pixel 9 will be a game changer
@@NeedPeaceInLifequit lying I've owned numerous pixel devices and never jag a problem with anything. Only reason why I switched was because I wanted a true Chinese phone.
You are so correct that the S24 series has feature variants between models thus helping to justify the price difference. S24+ isn't just UWB and larger than the s24. It also has 2k, more ram and storage on base models.
i have s24 ultra, and i have bought a 24+ for my mom. Honestly the + feels nicer in the hands, and i dont feel that the snapdragon better at all, the + is a great phone too.
That depends on region. In north America they got the snapdragon, Europe got the other one which tends to run hotter than a snapdragon. Still not bad tho
Got my P8Pro when it dropped and than picked up the S24 Plus when it dropped I was going back and forth when I 1st copped the S24 Plus but after about 3 months I made it my daily driver and my P8PRO my Side Piece. And my iPhone 14 plus just stays in my drawer. Keep up the good work Lil Bro.
I would say get it when you find a really good deal on it. As good as next year's S line might be we don't know if the s24 plus or 24 will be as good as this years. Of course the 25 Ultra will be good but we don't know if they are goin to have the rest of the S series as good as this years was.
I have the s24 plus which I have to use for work including GPS for multiple hours a day and doing paperwork through a mobile app. That's not including social media throughout the day. I start my day at 6:30ish and end around 5-6 and usually always have around 20% left.
I picked mine up directly from Samsung, after my trade-in I picked it up for $450. Win, win! I have a new phone under warranty, 5?7? Years of OneUI upgrades and no SPen. 13:43
Great video. I am considering a new phone after having my Pixel 4a 5G for 4 years. There are great deals on at the moment with Black Friday sales. Thank you very much.
Great experience so far from the s24 plus wow, I have an iPhone 14 pro max for personal use but i love the 120hz screen and the premium specs also the camera outclass the iPhone. Definitely worth it and this is coming from an iPhone fan
I like my S24 Plus alot, I go back and forth between this one and my Pixel 8 Pro. Samsung really screwed up with the S22 & S23 Plus phones by dumbing down the specs. I really like that MFinder, thanks.
Major props on an extremely well done video. The time, planning and effort you put into it really make it stand way above so many others. Great job. The one thing I don't get, and not just on yours but on others' as well, is how the AI subtitles can get so sloppy with misspellings and mistaken words. I assume there's no way to edit them but there really should be. No matter, looking forward to more of your work, and I'll absolutely check out mfinder!
Watching on my s24+, i had the OnePlus 12 and it's a great phone but i notice every time when wearing the OnePlus buds 2 pro with the phone when you increase the volume it distorts and sometimes disconnects.. Sent phone back and s24+ is my phone of choice
@gagandaman77 ill say a far as battery life OP wins hands down.. my s24+ has good battery 5-6 hours SOT, but not real good on standby time even with the update
on screen scrolling...I feel the same way with the my 15ProMax...seems slower than my 24+...never really noticed anything special on my P8Pro (it doesn't get much use)...rocking my 15PM now and it's good, but I'm itching to get back to my 24+
It's a nice phone. My only complaint is double tap to check lock screen barely ever works. Sometimes I have to hit the screen so damn hard to wake im surprised the screen hasn't cracked yet.
Ps if you want to improve the camera unlcok. Add a second reference. I first had one appearance and it wasn't that good. Then I added one in slight darker environment and now it's butter smooth. It almost 95% instant unlock, unless it's really dark. But then the screen brightens and it still works super good
Kenyans are asleep rn.😂 I love the new Samsung's consistent design. Samsung's also using this design on their budget phones [A Series], which is a win for Samsung Budget phone users as they get the same ''Flagship'' design for a cheaper price, though with thicker bezel/chin. BRO is using the A54 and Samsung as usual, ''never'' have any issues.😂😂THE SHOW AT THE END
I had the s21 ultra since it first came out. I had it fully paid off and had zero issue with it. I loved that phone. About a month ago, i dropped it (for what was probably the millionth time), but this time was the one that did it in. Cracked the screen pretty good, but it was still functional. For the last 3 weeks, I've been calling every t-mobile store in my area trying to find a location that had a Pixel 8 pro with zero luck. I've had Samsung phones as far back as the galaxy s4, after switching from iPhone, and felt like now i wanted to truly feel the full "Google " experience. Today, i found out that t mobile can't even order one since they're completely out of stock...i assume because the 9 and 9pro are coming out in a few months? So i decided to go with the s24+ (like pretty much everyone else, im not a huge fan of the design and feel of the ultra.) Now im sitting here watching this video and seeing that i dodged a huge bullet AND got the best phone of 2024 so far. Definitely should have watched this 3 weeks ago 😅 thank you for the video and detailed information you provided 🤘
TL;DR : I spent 3 weeks searching for a T-Mobile store. That had a Google Pixel 8 in stock. Come to find out they're sold out everywhere. Bought the s24+ this morning and watched this video right now. Realized I dodged a bullet and got the best phone of 2024 so far 👍
Is this SD or Exynos model? Thinking between s24 plus and Oneplus 12. In my country only have exynos model and most people not recommending it due to battery not last and overheating.
I literally just bought the s24+ this morning coming from the s21 ultra. I can tell you the experience is almost identical. Best way to explain it is by saying that even without the 100x zoom you can still get pretty much the same pictures of the moon as you do from the s21 ultra 👌 plus your pictures just LOOK better on the better screen
Had the Pixel 8 Pro, nice looking phone but such a buggy experience, had it since it launched and hoped it would get better with updates, but i switched to the S24 Plus and its a much better experience
Recently traded my iPhone 15 pro max with my daughter for her s24 ultra. I missed the themes and icon packs, launchers and operating systems.but I really miss my iPhone camera. The lag and lack of auto focus on portrait mode is annoying. I find myself taking a picture in portrait only to review it after it's processed and the background is in focus and my kid/subject isn't. We went to the lake and I literally borrowed my iPhone 15 pro max that I just gave to my daughter, to shoot video and pics. Everything about the s24 is awesome except this camera. And I'm huge into photography. I'll take the 48MP smooth as butter iPhone camera over this one any day.
I got that black but wanted the violet. Gonna get it for my wife now . I want to go full on samsung ecosystem. Watch, buds, and laptop. Even tv . I am on the s24 ultra rn. But i hate the phones feeling. Ifykyk

S24+ owner here, the european version is a masterpiece. Everything is perfecly placed, the phone is performant, cameras are great, the battery is great, it's a pure pleasure to have it. I can have a full day of phone usage with the battery life mode enabled (charge up to 80%). The fast charge is really great too. I thought it would take ages to charge, but a 20%->80% is done in, I'd say, 25 minutes-ish. On top of that, there are 6 years of android updates & 7 years of security updates. Really great phone, if you have the budget, go for it.
Good review, but I'm gonna have to call you out when you said the 24+ is ahead of pixel 8 pro when it comes to facial recognition. How can you say that when it's not as secure or accurate?

The Pixel 7 Pro is honestly a great phone in itself, unless you want the Samsung experience, I’d say keep it and wait another year. But if the deals are too good to turn down. It doesn’t hurt to trade it in
@@naseemspeachSamsung is offering me $300 for the P7P. Samsung is also offering 512gb for the price of the 256. It will cost me $629 after trade-in. Hold or sell? lol

This smartphone really seems like a really cool option, I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet, let's see if I buy one or if Samsung lends it to me for testing. The pixel 8 Pro my screen display looks very good.. it dont look yours. I was thinking about getting the plus but I might jump out there and get Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
Exynos process veesion of S24 + sucks big time...Bed battery performance and inferior modem for 5G compared to SD variant...and the phone overheats randomly when you are doing nothing or doing mild taks...The biggest problem is battery backup in Exynos...You have to almost charge the phone twice daily...
Had a pixel 8 pro its terrible and got to try a s23 ultra but i found it to big and boxeiy so ended up with a samsung a55 and now getting a s24 plus as it same size i like with a55 just way better at games
I prefer the OnePlus 12 over this. Much better screen quality and battery life. Software is debatable but i like the oxygenos over one UI in some instances.
S24+ with SD is just Lit... Sadly Here in India Samsung behaves like an Asshole & launches Exynos everytime......also the sales figures of those here are disgusting..... I hope Time Comes when Samsung will retard from Launching the shitty Exynos chipset here😢
It's not worth it. Literally just go to any phone store where you can actually hold one. You won't like the way it feels in the hand. Just like the video said, the corner pushes in so much on your palm while trying to use it.
The problem is though it could be a great phone but the lack of Snapdragon support for exodus international users , I don’t get samsung at all it’s an inferior chip time and time again people has told samsung don’t do it , I genuinely don’t get why people would buy it the s24 fe is better bar camera in all regards unless you want that extra 200mpixel camera over 50 then go ahead , I’m opting instead for open plus instead and it ticks all the right boxes
S24+ is literally top tier...it has the qhd like the ultra, the standard s24 doesn't. It has a 4900mah battery. The cameras are about in line with most competitors but lacking on the telescope lens(I don't use it so who cares). It can have hire storage capabilities, and has all of Samsung's new ai which has been pretty helpful. I get Google does too but I've seen poor Google quality where a 3ft drop in a case broke the phone from the inside. Never had an issue with Samsung and it feels so smooth on Android 14. The plus is genuinely worth buying if you don't want to drop 1300 bucks, especially cause it's only .1inch smaller then the ultra series too
I disagree. If you pick up the S23 Plus and S24 Plus. The differences are pretty noticable. Especially the flat display, processing, optimisation, colours and battery life. The changes may be mininal but most of the time. That little goes a long way. The point of these phones is to be the more refined version of its predecessor. Not something entirely new.
Correction the s24+ has a 1440p display but its little brother has a 1080p display Edit:nvm you already knew about the 1440p display but also i entered mr beast samsung giveaway jose was the fist winner so i hope ill be the next winner
I have used the iphone from 3G all the way up to Iphone 15 and now switched to Samsung. I can say with chest that iphones are very very overrated and boring. Samsung has more character and interesting specs. I don't think I will be using Apple again, I don't see them coming up with anything interesting or different from the old anytime soon. I know that would have been different if Steve Jobs was still here.

It's not worth it. Literally just go to any phone store where you can actually hold one. You won't like the way it feels in the hand. Just like the video said, the corner pushes in so much on your palm while trying to use it.
@antonypost19 Yeah agreed.
There are two types of S24+ users. Pinkie holders and non pinkie holders.
Well I finally broke my s10 plus, just upgraded to s24 plus being delivered in a few days
To bad you didn't show the difference in white balance between S24 plus. I find this screen pretty good actually
W quality
Change your wall note from "I will" to "I have"
The problem is though it could be a great phone but the lack of Snapdragon support for exodus international users , I don’t get samsung at all it’s an inferior chip time and time again people has told samsung don’t do it , I genuinely don’t get why people would buy it the s24 fe is better bar camera in all regards unless you want that extra 200mpixel camera over 50 then go ahead , I’m opting instead for open plus instead and it ticks all the right boxes
The plus is genuinely worth buying if you don't want to drop 1300 bucks, especially cause it's only .1inch smaller then the ultra series too
im gonna upgrade my s22 plus to s24 next year.
Yall buy same phones every year nothing changed
Some people like me have exceedingly older phones (s9 plus here) so this phone is going to be a massive step up.
@jaydenandrews02 If Samsung doesn't improve the charging speeds im not upgrading until they makes improvements on that too
15 hr sot on my OnePlus 12... So... thank you Samsung 😅😅...but no thx😅
OnePlus 12 is my first 2 day battery phone ✊✊
Any ones comment on battery life pls. Got an s21fe and its shit!

Beast is a pdf
But NO pen 😭
I have used the iphone from 3G all the way up to Iphone 15 and now switched to Samsung. I can say with chest that iphones are very very overrated and boring. Samsung has more character and interesting specs. I don't think I will be using Apple again, I don't see them coming up with anything interesting or different from the old anytime soon. I know that would have been different if Steve Jobs was still here.
That means samsung jumps one step ahead
I should of got s23 plus instead of ultra, don't need s pen or huge handset
I just bought a 24+ for my mothers birthday, thank you for this video. I'm a iphone 15 pro max user lol
🇹🇷💯🚀🌍🥰👍

My issue is with the EXYNOS! I am not in the US so yeah..
