Both snapdragon and exynos S24s are pretty similar this time round however the exynos S24 is slightly inferior. Such as slightly worse battery life on a exynos S24. However,i wouldn't worry about getting the exynos variant as you're getting a similar experience.
I'm somewhat annoyed at the screen resolution downgrade , my S8 has 1440 x 2960 and 568 ppi , compared to S24 1080 x 2340 and 416 ppi . The + and ultra are better but at much greater co$t .
@Gordon_L Yeah I get you it's weird to see the downgrade in specs on the later models. To be fair the S24s screen is still sharp and more than good enough thanks to it being smaller
I feel like it depends on personal preference. In my opinion, over the years, One UI has become a pretty good android skin. Although I feel like animations could be improved but that's about it.

If with exynos then it's big trash however the real s24 or s24 plus is the snap 8 gen 3 which makes it CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED
100% the snapdragon version is better. However exynos has caught up this time so the gap in performance is not so huge this time.
Don't comment if you don't own one though. So far Exynos is good on S24
