- Puma fuel depot this time in Theale , Reading. We walk straight in which highlights lack of security. Staff are mostly rude, and it gets even worse towards the end.
Drone footage shows the 3000 tonne train unloading and then leaving back to Milford Haven in South Wales.
Them choosing to stop work is thier choice...if its legal to fly thier SOL...they cant turn a legal activity into a crime
Any excuse to stop work I would imagine...
If a drone is such a threat why don't they have the CAA make it a no fly zone?
249g is as much of a threat as a bird.
Exactly.
@@DigitalNomadOnFIRE It's lighter than a football.
If a drone is so dangerous, why does this installation have its own helipad. They have regular overflights of helicopter in inspecting the pipelin from the Fawley terminal.
id put money on it that they tryed to get a no fly zone but CAA would find no valid reason for it and deny them
The high calorie man saying “f*** off” then hiding behind the door🤣🤣🤣
The workmen telling DJE he shouldn't be on the phone because its dangerous and their talking to one another on their radios are they brain dead 🤔
clearly so
Maybe the radios are ATEX approved.
@@scotttchviski6706 probably £10 PMR radios.
The radios for use near petrochemical sites are known as Intrinsically Safe models. They are slightly different to standard radio models and more expensive
because they are made from materials that will not spark if dropped or scuffed, they are stronger, sealed, waterproof, oil/chemical/heat proof to some extent, have different types of switches and buttons and the inside of the radios have like a sticky rubber potting compound. The battery attachment and containers or cases are a more rigid and safe design too. The aerial connection is also different and sealed.
I used to repair them and most times if faulty, they were replaced as they were impossible to get inside and change boards or components. The one that a company wanted to use for an advert, they replaced for free, as it had almost survived a 120ft fall at a Shell terminal. It was dented, slightly out of shape, but still sealed and worked.
IS or Intrinsically Safe radios are very different to a standard radio or your £10 Baofeng off ebay. A lot goes in to their design.
I have never seen a phone or radio causing a problem near chemicals or fuels.

That guy at the start thought you was a right bellend 😂😅
Railway workers don't need much of an excuse to down tools, leaves on the line will suffice.
Leaves on the line, to stop a TRAIN! That sounds so ridiculous it would make this country look a joke to the whole world. I feel your next comment will be the wrong type of snow, how mad would that be?
Leaves on the lines have stopped trains in the past, and yes, the UK(Goverment) is a big joke. @@kevinthegerbil2708

If DJ really wants to make his videos better, how I wish he'd stop constantly smacking his lips/sucking sweets, the constant mouth noise is horrible and really annoying 😮
If its annoying. Dont watch his vids then...
People hating fail to understand they have rights. These are the same people that fail their own freedoms and are already lost to us. The lack of security shown by the companies that handle these required activities and duties for the public are a threat to us all. The good thing is there are people who will still defend you and your rights even if you are blind to that. Crack on with your daily activities and leave the real adults to care for you. Great video showing puma cannot be trusted to show due care and attention.
Sheeple
Totally agree
It's not about hating its constructive criticism. I like DEJ but I think he's starting to push his luck too much around sensitive sites and with police and they gave him a friendly heads up in Wales that the police and gov and CAA are considering restricting the use of drones purely because of stuff like this and kinda warned him in a friendly way to be sensible and not abuse the freedoms we have else we could easily all lose them or have to apply for permission for every flight even from Council land.
Loving these fuel terminal and train videos. Both of great interest.
16:00 those guys were exhausting, sarcastic and annoying!
"carrying electrical goods is a no no" says a man standing next to a guy using a walkie Talkie
AHH but it'll be intrinsically Safe or so they say. Worked on these kind of places years ago and their thinking is better safe than sorry. Worked at an aromatics chemical plant on teeside and they were so strict they didn't even allow pacemakers mind you that was 30 years ago

I still see that VLOS means nothing to you ????
He has VLOS. As mentioned, it doesnt mean 'constanly looking at it'.
Well, they were a barrel of laughs weren't they? Very rude. Nice video DJE, love the aerial shots.
I like your train videos they are brilliant mate 👍
"You're filming me!...." Well you shouted at him when he was walking away, would do you expect when you start shouting and being hostile? Getting told to 'f*** off' after being shouted at when walking away, then closing the door like a coward. Main guy who was talking was ok, and professional.

Paint that drone orange so you can see it further...reflective strips ect...someing...Ace audits did it.
I watched her last night for the very first time, she was so calm and informative, very good indeed.
The brains of the organisation clearly recognised that they had been caught out in their complacency over security , but he was not helped by the dimwits that he had to shoo away before they made things even worse for him . This mentality of attack the Whistleblower , has to stop , and the bird brained driver is a perfect example of such a person.
Another great video, keep up the excellent work.
DJ, if you were wearing a high vis and didn't have your camera out they wouldn't have batted an eyelid and you could have done anything you wanted. For how serious they made the security of their site sound it looks like they don't actually take their security THAT serious.
gates wide open for a start
Their H&S man will probably be shown the door. There can be NO proper risk assessments for the site. Imagine if someone had wanted to do something bad after finding the site and studying it on Google.
Wat a load of wet wipes 😂😂😂

it’s not trespassing until you are asked to leave fyi
@LuvPJE if you are on private land without permission, its trespassing.
@@scytr3934false. In the United Kingdom it is ONLY trespass if 1. There are CLEAR signs not permitting public entry or 2. You are asked by a representative of the company to leave

keep up the good work, exposing the tyrants, the idiots, the crazy govermant policy's and everything inbetween
Electric train overhead cables next to the train tankers, do they not spark.
The train brake's are on until it's connected to the rest of the train and air applied through the line. Trucks work like that too and that's why you can't just start one up in the morning and drive away straight away because they need to build up pressure to release the brakes. That one on its own was probably just there for safety in case a train went that way to stop it crashing into the other tankers 💚💛❤️
4:45 Ringing Thames Valley police because someone doesn't follow their orders when they have no authority over the person is called perverting the course of justice if the intent is to get the police to attend and harass the person into leaving when no crime has occurred.
So many people are breaking and lack in self confidence. If they can't keep it together or maintain their dignity they shouldn't be interacting with the public on behalf of their employers.
Puma is the refinery in Pembrokeshire where the train comes from from yesterday's video
Its no longer a refinery. Just storage they said. From the ships. Milford Haven
Those guys at the refinery,
What a bunch of Turkeys 😅😅😅
Some power in those locomotives !!
I know nothing about trains and moving fuel on trail lines but if I had to make a logical guess about the isolated tank left behind as it's the one on the end I'd guess its not a normal tank or is empty possibly for safety reasons so if something collided or went wrong that tank would take the hit rather than one full of fuel? Or maybe it just has some different connection bits to regular tanks and joins the rest to the pulling train engine and its just standard procedure to leave that one where it is and join the fuelled up tanks onto it, something like that.
Or it ran astray lol. An empty tanker is more dangerous as full of fumes 🤔
Woodboy fyi when in a fuel terminal your equipment is Atex rated that is for the layman explosion proof so they all have correct equipment and keep safety to the max hence no fly zones etc to the idiot reporter🤔
Some of us who have been in the oil industry for over 30 years know our trade and recognised equipment used to be spec as expected. These are professional terminal workers and I for one can see their professional attitude and help surmising to someone who is lost or not knowing of the business etc so show some respect to the guys who have had
Clearly knowledge is key to this but not everyone is an expert in the oil industry as I know nothing about building and can go Grenfell in all builders eh?! Get it guys n gals 🙏
But the CAA determine no fly zones......
Yeah i would not risk working anywhere near that amount of fuel with a drone above. If it droped or the battery malfunctions near open liqid. Thats alot of boom them folk would be dead. No games there
One man's unloading is another's 'DE-loading' 😂
They sound like they're on 'the ale',

Trains moving in on steel wheels running on steel rails and they are worried about sparks from a mobile phone!!!!!
The only recoded disaster on a place like this that I know of was Buncefield and that had nothing to do with Drones or Phones….These guys just fancied a cuppa I reckon 🤪
Why so hostile over a camera, whats wrong with these people !!!
Everyone is hostile towards photographers, that is why people started auditing.
I’d hazard a guess at the fact your using equipment like drones, mobile phone etc that isn’t intrinsically safe, in an area with high potential for gasoline vapours to be floating about that you could easily ignite….
I'm working in puma energy tomorrow, near Milford Haven south west wales
DJ maybe you could explain what's pointed out to you in terms of improving flying...it might help others starting out?
Pleased to hear/see you learning to improve your flying. I havent seen any comments I would call hating but maybe I missed them. Mostly people are just trying to make sure you dont get into trouble.

@DJE have you seen the recent @Focus Pocus video?
I can see now Y you made those guys nervous,, lots of potential disasters
What is obvious about the bullshit these people spout?
About not using electronics/drones over their ATEX zones?
They were totally correct, it's controlled by DSEAR legislation and everything needs to be intrinsically safe.
The phones and radios they use on-site will be, plus ludicrously expensive.
I love it when people say "Thames Valley Police" or "Met Police" just to make themselves feel more important. "Call a unit" is the same

Lots of drama in this one.
@@DJEMEDIA love to see it
@@rogerbroadbelt3424 Incorrect.
@rogerbroadbelt3424 Yeah I liked them as a kid with my grandad. Had a model layout etc.
But in terms of a 249g drone, its fine. Yellow zone means caution in this case. Aka be responsible don't fly close to the lines etc.
For people who work around petrol and other fuels them show a total lack of understanding about how such fuels catch fire or explode. But then they are just trained for a day or two, forget what they've been told since they're usually thick and stupid, and then work as they like. The only time they try and show off their training is when other people come one site. And then they show off their lack of training.
Don't you have to maintain full view of the drone? Or do you have VFR certification? Just wondering.
No. Line of sight.
That doesn't mean "looking at the drone" 😂
@@ThunderChunky101 It actually does.
Read the CAA guidance to the regulations.
@@pup6728 Can a drone pilot scan the surrounding area for hazards?
@@scotttchviski6706 They need to see around the drone whilst it's in flight, not what the camera sees.
I didn't make the rules, the CAA did.
It's their statutory guidance that says if you are watching streamed video on a phone or headset you require a spotter.

That particular DJI Mini 3 drone of his is primarily for capturing beautiful video of landmarks, scenic mountain ranges, and other interesting places. Instead this guy chooses to use his one to fly over warehouse depots and other businesses, trying to piss off and annoy staff members, and receiving decent-enough reactions for his videos here. The more stressed out the staff members seem to be, the more "entertaining" for his videos.

What a piddly little site. I've worked in 23 storage terminals in the UK and the smallest tank in the smallest terminal held more than the whole of the storage in the Theale site. They've got delusions of grandeur.
One question ...WHAT SECURITY.....???????
I honestly think the single tanker went walkies n could be one reason those numpties are acting strange
Hmmmm... seems odd doesn't it !
Like watching these videos I watch DJ Audits too. Makes me laugh when they come out and say U can't fly your Drone over but yet Google maps do the same. I've noticed on quite a lot of these videos when U use your drone the view is so good of the site that U could get some snaps for Google maps yourself the pics would be good
So they stop work every time a commercial airliner flies over?
14:50 The guy is stupid. Or trying to force DJE to not do his filming by shaming him into thinking that they're really going to stop all operations. Either way he comes out looking bad. And acting like a snowflake who doesn't really know proper safety. Do they stop all operations when a seagull which weighs more than a DJI drone flies over - it might die in mid flight.
Watched on catchup. What an attitude from them. 😮
The are getting worse than the pigs.
you said you wasn't going to be stupid and fly above, then you go a fly above, you could have got just as good footage from the side.
