I agree with the manager on this type of site as all electrical equipment must be of a certain standard where it must be able to contain a spark or not allow ingress.

As a young boy 70 years ago we had all English Imperial sizes like feet and inches and pounds and ounces and I was taught this at school and left school to become bricklayer and then Goverment took us into Europe and we adopted their system of metrication but because it was too costly to change all the road signs fom miles to kilometres we kept some of our imperial sizes and adopted Europe's and young apprentices like me and school kids in general had to relearn and buy hew tape measures and I for one never really converted and to this day I still talk in feet and inches and then convert it to metric,it was allways messy and disruptive as for instance to this day you can go into a timber yard and buy say a 4mt length of timber that is still classed as true 3 x 2 inches or 6mts x 9 x 3 inch, hope this explains.😂

Do these depots explode around the world because of lightnings in the air above them? I think that they might be a little bit bigger sparks than what your Drone could make...

    That guys an idiot....
    If there's a "terrorism" risk there's 2 things that you DON'T do.
    1. Make it public as to when the high value is coming
    2. Make it routine. Same time, same day of week.........
That's why cash vans alternate their route every day

People light fires & BBQs in their garden next to railway lines that fuel trains run on ( Pretty sure the wagons will be double skinned anyway . )

Aeroplane pilots and helicopter pilots must be very conscious having to always get permission to fly over private property and during a war the amount of paperwork must be awful 🤔

Outside of take off and landing aeroplanes and helicopters usually have to stay above 500 feet - sub 249g drones can't go above 400 feet.
Bernstein v Skyviews (1978) limited the landowners air rights - Conclusion of the case - 'Bernstein of Leigh v Skyviews significantly shaped the legal understanding of property rights in relation to airspace. The judgment established that while property owners have rights to the airspace above their land, these rights are limited to the height necessary for the ordinary use and enjoyment of the land.'

Wow the egos of these self important wannabes.
Still their faces are in the public domain and thousands of people can and will identify them.
Ridicule comes to mind and it will only take one person to name them.

Can't say I'm surprised this happened and I doubt MEJ is either and expect he wanted this to happen 😒 if you keep doing things like this it's going to end up going one way, you either get arrested in court and a hefty fine and lose your right to fly a drone ever again and/or you become a nuisance target the police will keep checking as they lose their patience with you for all the frequent call outs to sensitive sites and you will undo all the goodwill and relationships/trust the police have extended time and time again...or ultimately the gov will clamp down as the South Wales drone chief suggested with talks about that ongoing and the whole drone community suffers.. why not just be more reasonable responsible and not keep pushing it further and further.. I get the whole auditing thing and you make money off it, but when it comes to flying over sensitive sites and full depots when asked not to I think that's crossing a line and being irresponsible/selfish.

They still had no right to stop you from any drone footage
