Thank you for a great how to video.
Just replaced my cross brace on my raptor, less than an hour and $70 on ama**n. No complaints on the oem part, lasted 10 years of rough terrain and I would buy the mower again. Great value, maybe if I had spent a lot more money I would feel different but I have only a few issues and this cross brace really wasn’t that bad.

I use a Raptor Limited in my lawn business, about 300 hrs a year. I love the mower but these brackets are horrible. I'd say once about every 75 hours I'm stranded, usually at the back of a customer's property, until I can fix the bracket. And the shops around here don't carry them. I've had them welded and they last longer but it's a bad design flaw. I'm going to try welding strengtheners onto the L brackets on the sides, I think that's the weak point, they flex too much. Good video!

Dealing with this problem now. I bought the upgrade kit but the only side bracket were thicker the rest was the same as OEM and still cracked.
