I purchased an upgraded kit, but the brackets are too large by nearly a 1/2 inch. The kit they sent was supposed to be for a model # 933077. What was your model # and I was hoping that your guy would have matched them up prior to installing. Inside the kit has a installation sheet with the part # MM170. I had the bracket welded 6 months ago but as usual it had broken again.
Good video thank you I noticed the bracket behind your tire was bent. I was messing with mine the other day and the cross bar that hooks the hydro gears together underneath had some cracks in it so I welded it up. So hopefully that part is good to go now. My battery box has a crack in one of the tabs on it so I'm going to have to fix that. All of the other brackets on mine are good but I got some 5/16s angle iron and I'm going to replace the ones behind the tire. Then hopefully the other ones don't give. Another problem with these things is the bolts break them that makes everything Start moving around and that's what. Does a lot of damage to those brackets I do believe?
I just upgraded to the heavier brackets last summer. Made it just about a year and cracked one of these too. I did not do the cross brace as previous owner thought it had been changed by the dealer, but I'm not convinced so I bought that as well. I'll give it one more chance before I'm shopping for a new mower.
Hey guys I have a hustler raptor sdx is a 2019 did that model came with the same problem with the brackets? They seem to be fine but then again I only have 16 hours on it
Hmmm. If you have the right tools and know the process it should take less than 2 hours. However, it can take longer if you have a bolt that is not lined up and hard to remove and don't have the right tools.

@@peteeckhart8753 You have more patience than I do...
@@peteeckhart8753maybe your should easy on the drive or level out your yard
are there torque specs for those bolts?
I don't have the specific specs.
Did you have to jack up the mover or something to avoid damage to the hydro pump when tightening the bolt to the bracket?
It's a technically easy job...just a pain getting to many of the bolts. Did mine at 400h.
Great video. Fixing to do the exact same repair to mine.

Yes the 2019 SD for sure and I believe also the SDX had issues with the brackets being too thin and breaking on the 2019 version
i had a dude to tell me it will take him like 4 hours to replace them. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Apparently, he didn't know that i knew better. Smh
