Super clean wiring, i despise looking under a helm and seeing a rats nest. Thats the first thing i do when i get a new boat to work on. Rip it all out and start from scratch. Nothing moer frustrating than trying to chase down wires that are nested up. Awesome work, very informative 👏
HERE: HEAR!!!!
Wish other so called restorers of boats would have the Integrity and Attention to Detail you guys have. You are a representation of the old days and old way, when a hand shake was your word ✝️🛐!!!!! Outstanding restoration and hopefully I can come and purchase a great boat from you. Godbless you and your families, I'll continue to watch your vids, thank you so much☺️
15:02 - I'll tell you this!! Being an electronic technician of many different modalities, you guys have made an impressive display of wire/cable/comm [RETRO] routing, securing and organization/stabilization. Anyone who does this for a living (like me) knows this is pretty nice work. IMHO - "Some" experience (1990-now)
Thank you!
In their part 2 video you can see the real electrical wiring they did. haha. Very clean work.
Marine Seat and Cushion Recovering Idea-this is a very difficult specialist to find. Here’s how you do it in your area: call the vinyl provider in your town and ask them who their biggest recovering buyers are and who they recommend. They will give you more than one name. You can also call a small airport FBO and ask them who recovers their aviation seats. Reverse your way into this specialty!
Time to sell it off and start a new project. Nice boat, not much use in my part of the world (Vancouver Island Canada) Seas a bit too rough here and not enough room indoors if it gets chilly
Definitely worth way more then it was when you started.
Would love to see a price break down
Great video, I was wondering what was happening with this boat. Nice to see it coming along, worth the effort I would say. Keep up the great work. Us boaters do love what you guys have been showing us. I have had a few conversations with some of the subscribers on some of what you have covered and the bottom line is these videos are the best thing out there for guys like us. My hats off to you! 👍😎🌴Stay safe out there.
Thanks 👍
Very nicely done! Love the attention to detail in the wiring, plumbing, etc.
Your boats are always very well put together, well designed and defined.
it needs like 10 more cupholders, lol
The wiring you guys did is immaculate, so neat and organized. Awesome project.
I enjoyed watching this rebuild. I have a 1999 venture almost exactly like this one except 12 kw furuno radar and simrad MFDs. Mine is powered with Yamaha 300s.
I had the same issue with my compass when I changed out the speakers under the ladder to the upper station.
Thanks
New subscriber here. Loving the channel. I've been watching for over 2hrs straight and I am definitely doing some of these things on my project boat. Thanks for sharing your videos.
all these key leak prone bad deal or under pressure plastic pieces of shit parts need to hve a carbon upgrade option, w/better seals, u can actual torque on w/out breaking them.
when u scape a boat some fittings should b reusable more than 20yrs, not like mayb 10yrs weak as shit.
She’s a beautiful vessel. I’d be proud to call her mine!
Run a blender, lol. My first thought, you wanted a drink after such nice work.
Do you draw out the electronics wiring before mounting?
My favorite feature of the Venture is the obvious attention to detail and hard work you guys put into it. Very nicely done! What happened to the Ocean Master?
I am tickled that my boat floats without taking on water. I am building a center console for her and rewiring at the same time.
Phewwwwieee! 30 gallon/hour? That's 113,5 liter/hour. Current gas price in The Netherlands: €1,53.
113,5x1,53= €173,65 or 210 USD! PER HOUR!
That's exactly why I'm stuck with a little 60hp dinghy.
Would love to see this boat go through a full detail to really show the final result
It's nice to see the overall view of the finished product. Great job!
How much does a boat in this shape and this kind cost? Roughly?
Damn, 60 gallons an hour...I guess if speed means that much to you.
On the introduction I saw you working with the Bimini top. I can't find a video where you built that and installed it. Maybe that was one that was lost? Could you go to the boat and do a video now of it just pointing out things and talking about how you attached it and how one should be attached and what parts to get and where to get this from so yeah I can put a Bimini top on my 19 foot I/O. Thank you! It would be very helpful to me!
I like the switch panels ware did you get them have to wire on old Chris craft
I'd love more info too they would look great with my blue led theme.
Grrrreat looking console! Excellent job! Where did you get that plexiglass? And don’t forget putting up the National Ensign on the stern. MABAA (Make American Boating Affordable Again) Thanks
diff between LED or old shit bulbs, we can do better.
full 90degs tilt wheel great feature new 1 for Me. Every boat will hve some day idea. Plex tint glass is nice but it could just come off or go on over wing nuts too.
I wish you had pressurized the Livewell... That is the conversion I am looking to do on mine. 15:20 Get some Ultra Safety Systems float switches on that boat!
The rigging and that wiring....so pretty,
so orginized. The helm....got me weak!
Will you marry me???
Sorry, I'm already taken!
We like boats but can't afford them
love all the videos
Content idea: how to add gas shocks to boat hatches
For those interested in determining if new or used is the way to go, what was the approximate total investment at this point, including original purchase?
You guys going to install radar? That boat probably can handle some rough seas pretty well. 👍
If you can, make a video of live well system
Just purchased a 99 34 venture, needs a lot of the same work. Great videos!
This is an awesome boat love it!
my favorite feature on my boat are my twin 350 verados, was doing 38 mph in a 4-5 foot sea in my 30' Whaler very comfortably. I also love my outriggers, too.
DUDE!!!!!!! thats a sick boat, i wouldnt even know where to start with that lol, you should make a book on how to start restoring and learning how to look for soft spots and damage on the gel coat, thats a really nice boat
A great template for ideas when refitting my Donzi CC. The only thing missing is dive tank holders. Video Saved !
So thoughtfully, masterfully implemented central command wire routing and mounting center 👌
Nice clean work, just started my 2nd one identical to that one on Monday. I have a powder coated anchor pulpit if interested..
Awesome build, tight wiring. Any more info on those backlit switch panels by chance?
Man I was wondering what happened to it thank you for the information great Job
The boat looks great no doubt about it but one question how much does all the electronics and hardware cost
Thanks for sharing your work. Would love to see your repair of those gel coat voids/holes. All the best!
Amazing just how much storage there is 👌 love the console with the acrilic screen too , very smart look.
You guys do such great work! I would love to buy one of your refurbished boats!
Maybe one day!
You make the job of "Boat Technician look" fancy and enviable :D
I've always loved the Venture 34
Excellent walk through. The details are great! Really like the switch panels!
Ok. Whats up with it its LAMEEEEEEE
That was a $hit load of work!!!
Great job wish I could afford one like that
I love the storage and the lighting. Plus this rebuild gave me some ideas for my old boat.
Thumbs up on the Mercs!
Auto pilots are fabulous on my 30 ft Whaler too
If i buy an old Baja 280 center how much would something like this cost ?
$150 in gas per hour
You guy's do a fantastic job. Boat looks amazing.
Enjoy the content-easing me into this level of boating!
I just subscribed to your channel recently and am loving getting "caught up" on all your "Technician's Tuesday" series. Thank you for your wonderful knowledge that I can apply to my offseason cleaning before getting our boat back on the water.
Welcome aboard!
Nice job
MUST SEE. A BOTTOMLESS MONEY PIT. 😂😂
Cool great ideas
candle an moon lights for the win
Awesome boat...wish she was mine lol
Such a cool boat!
Very beautiful restoration
Nice boat
Nice video
Seems like you should be getting more out of those engines. I would say it should easily hit 50mph. How over propped are you?
Unless you are carrying around extra weight I.e water. Have you weighed the bit? Any opportunity that you could have water trapped somewhere?
you're the man thank you for always making awesome boating content!!
I appreciate that!
Beautiful boat, what a great project, love the lighting especially!
Thank you! Cheers!
Is that back bench after-market? I’ve been looking for soemthing exactly like it without luck.
How the heck do you connect the Garmin echomap to the smartcraft gauges to read the gps speed? I have tried and failed.
Good morning do u have any video about restoring pads or seats
Love the videos they are so much help! First viewer and first like of the video hahaha! One question i have a Yamaha 50hp 2 stroke if i have it on a hoist is it ok to run it while hanging on the hoist? Thanks
What does a project like this cost, start to finish? Is it a real alternative to buying a newer low hour CC?
Turned out great! Wiring job on that thing is impressive
Thank you! Cheers!
I love the whole boat .
Its way too big for what I would use it for but I love it. Nice boat.
Beautiful boat.
That thing is NICE!!A good job
Thanks 👍
I love your videos so much really cool stuff!
Glad you like them!
What are you guys asking for it?
Killer Sweet!
Great work!
Are you planning to sell this project?
Love it
Nice job but sweet baby Jesus get rid of that Bimini! Looks like you put a homeless shelter underneath an interstate bridge on the bow.
NICE!!!!!!!
How much would it sell for?
Where did the batteries get moved to?
Nice build
Thanks!
Sweet!!
Looks great! for that boat why did you go Mercury over Yamaha? Do you like Mercs better for reliability?
Im sure that's not the reason lmao
