Sometimes boat trailers have value as a boat trailer. Or possibly a double PWC trailer with a little work.
I once saw at a boatyard a little riding mower with a hitch ball on front. They had an outboard trim cylinder mounted to it complete with the electric pump and up/down switch mounted to the dash. The guy could move several trailers without getting off the mower. With your vision, you'll have a great idea and another fun video for us.

Mike, that opening clip help a ton, changing my comment thoughts! Had an idea for the hydraulics. Use them in the Subaru project to building a dump bed on the back that can lift up and down. 👍👍👍👍 I'm also betting that she is going to still float after all of your repairs! 😂😂😂😂

Good video, I built 3 flat bed trailer’s out of boat trailers , the last one the tongue jack collapsed I lifted it ( very heavy ) felt and heard my back break twice be careful of your tongue weight make sure you move your Axel further up towards the tongue of trailer I never did my fault remember most of weight is in back of a boat hence Axel further back

Mike, l started out the same way taking everything free and tearing it apart, save bolts and screws. Save it for later uses. About the only difference I see is you use impact tools, l had ratchets, big difference. Suggestion, build a very large building, l had 2. When I became disabled they were full, 40X60’ and 30X50’. It’s called hoarding, I had a great life enjoyed every minute and now I’m watching you do the same thing. The auctioneer said he had never seen this much stuff at one place. HaHa l had another building 25 miles away that l wasn’t selling yet. If you enjoy what you’re doing, you will never work a day.

Judging by the amount of rot and the amount of rust in the engine, the description on facebook marketplace should have said "Ran when sunk"! Strip if for all the useable and sellable parts as well as scrap.

I've always described the "time working" in a slightly odd way; if you're turning down paid work to do these things then you're losing money, but if you're working part-time to "keep the lights on" and you're otherwise doing work that - you're maybe saving money on doing it yourself ~ working 8 hours to earn the money to pay a guy that does the job in two, when you could do it yourself in 4 seems like a no brainer to me; you do it yourself and spend the other 4 hours salvaging a submarine and break even before you've sold whatever you can salvage.

Those vents on the side that should have been hooked to a purge fan are nice for tight fit fan places that need fresh air. That front engine mount came in handy for a few things ive built around here too, oh yea move that axle forward about a foot too ours has dual axles and still moved it 6-8” forward

There's a biker bar south of Deland Florida I used to ride my Harley by on my way to my Mom's every Daytona Bike Week that had a boat hull like that turned into a hot tub with a deck surrounding it.
Got a little toasted there a few times.
The let you camp out by your bike inside an area inside a privacy fence if you've been drinking to sleep it off.
I'd wake up and there'd be several other riders nursing coffee they'd hand out in the morning along with a country style breakfast.
Real popular stop on the way up St. Road 17 to Daytona.
Or just for a night of partying.
Live bands outside on that deck.
Maybe that hull could be a hot tub for the RUclips Yacht Captain ?
    An amenity renters would love.
