    When you flexed the transom with the engines, the interior crack ipened up. That crack requyires woven roving overlay for structural reinforcement.

    Nice job on the transom, being a SoCal boater, I could not believe how shallow it is in the keys when I was there a few years ago, we don't have to pay as much attention to the depth.

    Great videos as always!!! Just curious as May is coming up if any other thoughts or ideas on a clean inexpensive, furnished studio or 1Bd/1BTH place to stay for approximately 3-6 months? We just can’t find anything, and don’t think owner wants to move his vessel to a live-aboard Marina? We figure once we get there, we maybe able to find our own place, or talk owner into possibility of moving vessel?
    Thanks again for all the videos, I hope you know how much this has helped me and us just learning engineering types!!!
    Thanks again!

      I feel your struggles.Small business are a way of life.
      For me in my field electrician since 1996.As I moved up had as many as 12 people working for me; I found myself critiquing all aspects of myself. Yeah it's a little late and I'm a little tired what I'm trying to get at is the people and the babysitting in the counselor all the different roles you have to play to manage human beings they don't want to take the initiative that you. It's hard to find employees that will work for you as if the company was there own.
      For 26 years I always wanted the companies to make money so they would stay off of my back and passed down a little bit of the treasure towards me

    From experience of owning 2 31 contenders and a 27 contender myself and riding in many other contenders those are normal stress cracks. If you looked through you would have seen cracking also Whare fuel lines go up to cap on the floor and port rear of the cap.

    • @WillFixThat
      @WillFixThat  Год назад

      We see lots of stress cracks on boats! Our focus for insurance was on the transom since they hit something at high speed and damaged the engines. We met the insurance guy at the boat after it got to the boatyard.

    IF you cut into the transom the whole transom needs to be fully replaced. never ever ever a partial repair in that area. From the force and load you are asking for nothing but trouble. but the looks of things the cap to hull joint just cracked wheere they bond everything. If it were me I would take a few 1" explores into the transom to check for water. if its dry? send it its good! a transom replacement full coosa you are looking about 6k for the transom. let me know if its a loss ill pick that bad boy up and have that 27 contender looking like new lmao!

    • @WillFixThat
